Auto scanning and enhanced security but re-adding protections need improvement
At that time, we observed certain issues with the product. The functionalities could be improved, such as the isolation feature. If we remove our protection, we cannot easily add it back. If, in our organization, we need to remove a specific system for a particular time, we cannot add it back for security after doing so. This is one thing we have experienced. Scalability is also lacking. If we want to do the same thing repeatedly, there's not much the solution offers; it isn't very strong.

AI-driven threat detection strengthens security and supports seamless integration
My company had an opportunity to implement Trend Micro Endpoint for one of our customers. They have around 500 PCs as endpoints and also around 100 or 120 servers The behavior analytics feature is very useful, and its threat detection based on AI is very strong. It is easy to integrate with other…

"We have found the reports to be most valuable."
"The cloud-based management portal was okay."
"Its database is better than most of the endpoint protection solutions."
"The main features that are useful are application control, vulnerability protection, and XDR Vision One which we have recently started using. Additionally, the solution is easy to use."
"DLP is a solid feature in the product. I like it very much. It is very useful in our environment. It is also a very stable solution. Their support is also very good."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Micro Apex One is the response time and detection module."
"The most valuable features are behavior analytics, machine learning, and virtual patching."
"The nano protection and device control are great."

Cons

"Scalability is lacking. If we want to do the same thing repeatedly, there's not much the solution offers; it isn't very strong."
"The functionalities could be improved, such as the isolation feature."
"I'd like to see the different interface components combined into one, or be allowed to get to the agent management portion without having to log into the main console."
"We cover many things, but there is something called ATP, advanced threat prevention. I think they need to invest in this technology."
"The solution could be improved by providing better training to the vendors."
"This software could affect the performance of your device negatively, particularly causing slow performance after installation."
"The technical support could have better response time."
"The pricing is very high. Despite the magnificent capabilities, the cost is still a concern. Additionally, we need more training resources for my team and I, such as developing labs and sessions to implement it more easily."
"I would like to see better reporting."
"We want to manage the policies in the group. Currently, if I am at one location and other users are at other locations, the main problem is that we cannot manage policies location-wise. The policy management should be improved. I should be able to group them based on the location. If one location has four policies and another location has the same policy, currently, I have to scroll the screen to find out the policy as per my location."
