It's flexible, customizable, and easy to integrate via API, but the licensing model may limit scalability
I like the degree to which you can fine-tune Vision One's policies. It takes some time to get them how you want them, but it has helped us. Vision One's detection capabilities stand out because they work at every level, from the network to the endpoint and application levels. It monitors in real-time. There's no lag in the live detection and response. The multi-cloud protection is excellent, but you need to have a specialized understanding of the cloud framework, the policies you want in place, and what you are monitoring. Once you set that up, it becomes easier in terms of analyzing the logs and alerts. All the information is well structured on the console, giving you detailed visibility. Vision One protects workloads on all the major cloud providers. You can use it with AWS, GCP, or Azure. It's highly useful with AWS. The integrations mostly primarily benefit AWS if I'm not mistaken.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CyberFlood is flexible."
"The feature I find most valuable is the traffic generator."
"Our customers use it to check for unauthorized file transfer."
"CyberFlood's best features are its user-friendliness and scheduling function."
"We use the solution to protect our cloud-based applications like Office 365."
"Virtual patching is one of the key features, which is executed with their IPS."
"Trend Vision One - Cloud Security's best features are security analysis, remote access security, and driver security."
"Vision One is versatile and can be integrated with many SIEMs. You're not limited to only one SIEM, such as Microsoft Sentinel. The API integrations are seamless, and we have all the documentation needed to integrate Vision One via API."
"It has the best EDR functionality for cloud and typical endpoints."
"The security is good."
"The storage and computing features are valuable."
"Detection response and cloud conformity are valuable features."

Cons

"CyberFlood's accessibility and support for multiple browsers could be better."
"Sometimes, when you configure parameters the hardware can't run, it will get stuck at those points without telling you what happened. It would be helpful if the error reporting provided more details about why the test setting is not running. It would be nice if there were a space in the hardware module for you to add some external hardware for more rigorous testing."
"The solution needs more ports, more speed, and more gigabytes."
"I would also like to see updates on a more frequent schedule."
"The firewall configuration should have been automated based on the understanding of the application, utilities, and protocols."
"The workbook insights generate a massive list, making it inconvenient to review."
"The local agent should be able to show more logs. At present, the logs are only available from the web console and not from the local agent."
"The initial setup is easy for someone who operates container platforms on a daily basis. However, it could be difficult for those coming purely from informational security or another field of an IT."
"There are also some loopholes because it's a new product that they have recently migrated to the cloud. We do see some issues with the policies we have assigned when it comes to a particular account. There are some issues with system support, such as a particular server kernel version that is not supported."
"The dashboard should be a bit more intuitive."
"Securing S3 using Trend Vision One - Cloud Security can cost too much. Trend Vision One - Cloud Security has a tool that requires lots of privileges. From my understanding, it's only for static application testing, so they need to add dynamic application testing, and there should be more collaboration with the application testing tools on the market. We have not used this product, and I don't know if they plan to decommission it or something. They should focus on application security because this tool's unique feature is multi-cloud support. However, they should improve integration with tools for these kinds of use cases, especially application security and dynamic scanning. For example, I would like it to support Dell SecureOps. I'd also like to see some enhancements to API gateway security."
"The initial setup can be complex for the inexperienced."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"CyberFlood is reasonably priced."
"While Trend Vision One - Cloud Security was a cost-effective solution for us in 2021, we've noticed a recent price increase that makes it less affordable."
"It's a slightly expensive product."
"The pricing for Cloud One is reasonable because my costs scale up and down based on my infrastructure usage."
"Pricing for Trend Micro Cloud One Container Security in the corporate market is okay."
"The is price is 25% cheaper than it was a couple of years ago, which is good."
"With everything I deal with, Trend Micro Cloud One's pricing is somewhere in the middle."
"I rate the solution's pricing a six out of ten."
"One year ago, Trend transitioned to a credit system for licensing, which has confused users."
