A user-friendly solution that features excellent traffic filtering and reduced false positives
The policies and the filtering are the most valuable features, especially traffic, URL, and application filtering. The solution is excellent at detecting vulnerabilities. The product is great for blocking unknown threats and attacks. We've had excellent results over the past two years, and the way it detects and filters traffic is outstanding. The FortiWeb Cloud is straightforward to use; with a basic overview of how to apply policies, create NAT rules, etc., it's easy. The console is user-friendly enough that anyone can create and apply policies. The solution also helped reduce our false positives by 20-25%. Our organization receives fewer alerts thanks to the solution, and we don't have to think about the security of the URLs for applications. We put the whole domain behind the WAF, and if it's configured correctly from the beginning, we spend minimal time making changes and get the precise results we need. Our alerts have been reduced by approximately 5%.

Not only did its website scanner find my website's security issues, but I was also able to implement a security system to prevent future breaches.
Website scanner I run several personal websites and after getting hacked on one of them I found SiteLock. Not only did SiteLock's website scanner find the issue with my website, but with SiteLock I was able to implement a security system to prevent future breaches. None that I could find. 6…

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost isn't expensive."
"Its subscription prices are cheaper, and it is not very expensive. From a price perspective, Fortinet is a very well-known security vendor. Subscriptions are very simple. They have a couple of licenses on an appliance, and that's it. The cost is not that big. One license is 40K, which they give with all the products. Another one includes the subscriptions for threat prevention, IPS, sandboxing, etc, which is more than enough."
"The solution is cheaper compared with other solutions. It has a yearly license."
"The price of Fortinet FortiWeb is reasonable. This is one of the key factors of why we use this solution."
"The product is expensive. I rate the pricing a ten out of ten."
"Previously, for each project, the cost was $800 to $1,000 per application. Now, it's $100 to $120. For some of the applications, there is a 90% reduction, and for some of the applications, there is a 50% reduction. We're paying only $500 to $600."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The price of Fortinet FortiWeb depends from customer to customer because some customers are considering using other solutions, such as Imperva. The price of Fortinet FortiWeb sits well for the middle-sized customers that we deal with."
"You can't just stop auto-renew from your billing panel, the way you can with reputable businesses."
