We're primarily using the solution as a redundancy method.

As a team, we work on various projects, and certain documents tend to be accessed more frequently. Certain documents as a project closes tend to not be asked from us at all. The ability to auto-archive those documents and keep the frequent documents on SSD storage or some of the faster local NFS storage pools tends to really help with the opening, closing, and editing of the locks, et cetera.

The ability to prioritize the location to determine the number of copies and where they're kept is one of the solution's most valuable aspects.

The priority of keeping the caching ability and keeping things in a quick setting is very useful to our organization.

The solution is very engineer friendly.

The setup is pretty straightforward.

The UI is not ideal. It really can be tweaked quite a bit to update its appearance and make it more user friendly, especially for the administrators. While the solution is engineer-friendly, it's not really administrator-friendly. It needs to be easier to use for that segment of the user base. I've conveyed this to the company in the past.

The solution only came out in November or December of 2019. I've been working with it since it first came out.

The stability is great. It's really fast without providing any issues. there aren't bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. The performance is excellent.

For our team, the scalability of the solutionis very good. It's well suited to our needs. I don't know how it would scale for a large enterprise, however, for our departmental needs, it's perfect.

We have about 150 users on the product right now. Most are engineers. We also have a few team members from marketing and sales on it.

The technical support has been very good. They're responsive. They know the product. We're satisfied with their service. I'd rate them a nine out of ten based on the experience we've had so far.

We previously just used in-house file chairs. We didn't have another solution.

The initial setup is not too complex. I'd describe it as straightforward.

We're a partner. We have a business relationship with the company. We've used it since its original release.

I'm not sure which version of the solution we're using. I don't know the version number off-hand.

While we typically use on-premises deployment models, we also occasionally use cloud models as well.

I'd recommend that those considering the solution should contact DataCore. They can walk new potential clients through the product and explain how it can fit into a company's current environment. It would be quite helpful to hear it from them and get their perspective.

Overall, I'd rate the solution ten out of ten. It suits all of our current needs and works exactly as advertised. Even with the UI issues they happen to have, it's excellent.
