The solution has helped us with customer management as well as team communication. We rent commercial vehicles and it is imperative that my team be able to know what's going on. Monday.com allows our sales team to effectively follow each step of our closing process. It gives the team leaders a quick glance at what's happening without having to disturb the team. The organization of Monday.com allows the influx of data to be categorized effectively which results in less time spent searching for something. Money is time.
Operations Manager at LG Truck Group, LLC
Easy to upload, helps with communication and has great technical support
Pros and Cons
- "The coolest thing is the way the files or documents can be uploaded to subitems."
- "I do wish that admins could edit everything, no matter who created a post/board/subitems, etc."
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
It's given us the ability to always know what is happening with our customers. It has allowed for more communication between team leaders and support staff. Questions can be asked and answered without having to interrupt. The flow of my office has improved tenfold since we started using Monday.com. It is a staple in every office. The organization of Monday.com allows the influx of data to be categorized effectively which results in less time spent searching for something.
What is most valuable?
The coolest thing is the way the files or documents can be uploaded to subitems. This allows all pertinent information to be readily available to whomever. If someone is out of the office I do not have to worry about locating a file/folder of a customer. All of the documents are right there at anyone's fingertips. With quick access to everything, leaders can quickly glance over and approve or deny closings and be able to step in when needed.
What needs improvement?
We thoroughly enjoy Monday.com and all of its features. Sometimes we did not know we needed feature until the feature was there - and then we are thinking "Where has this been all of our life!"
I do wish that admins could edit everything, no matter who created a post/board/subitems, etc. There are a few instances that we needed to edit customer info and had to recreated the data so that a new person could add/remove info that had changed over time.
Everything is great and we appreciate it.

Consultant Project Lead at Marketinger
Great file management, good board diversity, and allows clients to collaborate
Pros and Cons
- "We can have different boards for different needs."
- "Some boards are just buggy."
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution for company project management and projects project management. We are a marketing agency consisting of 25 people. We are using Monday to basically manage the whole company including HR, time tracking, project management, and personal management.
I use Monday to plan and manage my personal and work tasks. We use Monday to manage our teams and also to manage projects with our clients. Basically we would not be able to operate without Monday at current moment. All of our processes are currently build around Monday.com.
How has it helped my organization?
Our company switched to Monday four years ago and it changed our everyday lives. We are managing our HR processes, our client's projects, and our various teams via Monday and are extremely pleased with it.
The solution helps the most with effectiveness and has great overviews to visualize our team's work. Thanks to Monday, everyone in our organization can keep up to date with all the tasks being done and we are doing it extremely effectively. We have tried several other PM solutions before without luck. The best part is, it is a good fit for everyone in our company and this does not happen often.
What is most valuable?
The tablewise approach, file management, adjustability, ability to invite clients to collaborate are all valuable aspects of the solution.
We can have different boards for different needs. Each of our team has got its own board (design, copywriters, strategists, web developers) and they manage their workload there. Each project is using its own board and everything is interconnected.
We are using time-tracking on Monday which has changed the way we are working on projects and invoicing them. Also, unlimited storage within tasks is great thing to have as we are able to go back in history to find all materials that everyone worked on really easily.
What needs improvement?
Reliability has had issues these last few weeks. We noticed that the platform is down from time to time for several minutes.
Some boards are just buggy. For example, we are not able to see tracked times from other people and cannot add a new update. After contacting support they were unable to help. The problem is strangely happening on just one account and the only fix that we have found was to create a duplicate board where the problem looks fixed.
Other than reliability problems we are really happy with the solution itself.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've used the solution for four years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It used to be stable, however, in the last few weeks we have noticed some problems with the reliability where the solution was down from time to time.
To understand the context, we have all tasks for each team set up within Monday. When we are planning a work for a team there is a meeting scheduled. When meeting starts and Monday is down, we can't really evaluate work or plan anything until it is back up. Also when a specialist is assigned a task in Monday, and Monday does not work they are unable to know what to work on. That happened several times in the last few weeks. It was not an issue before, the last two weeks or so seem okay again.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I can't really answer as to if this solution is scalable.
How are customer service and support?
Technical support is all good.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We used to use Wrike, Trello, and Asana. None of them worked for everyone or for every team and for every task. On Monday we can adjust to everyone's needs.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was straightforward.
What about the implementation team?
We handled the setup in-house.
What was our ROI?
The ROI was immediate.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
New users should just go ahead and try it out. If you have been struggling in the past with PM solutions, you won't be anymore.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We did not evaluate any other solutions.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud

Principal CEO at Ark Studios LATAM
Great time tracking with customizable status labels and high availability
Pros and Cons
- "The formula feature is amazing."
- "It helped us a lot in content management issues for TikTok and YouTube, however, it would be good to have an integration for each social network to get all the data within a single platform."
What is our primary use case?
We use Monday.com for the administration of a marketing agency including clients, taxes, archives, integrations, ROI, and clasification of works. The best feature we use a lot is the sub elements for subdividing the work. It helps us to be more specific in our activities and that makes it so that the clients can audit our work. Our reputation is increasingly growing thanks to free partner access that gives our clients greater visibility of progress while growing your confidence in our work.
How has it helped my organization?
The organization has improved a lot thanks to Monday. This is due to all the functions it has. Information leaks have been avoided and there are better results in proper monitoring of the activities carried out real-time monitoring of staff, and complete records of conversations including suggested changes in the graphic design department.
In addition, thanks to its customizable structure, we have been able to concentrate much of our business within the app, making it easier to manage from anywhere and with all the people we need.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable functions for the agency are:
- Time tracking
- Customizable status labels
- Last modification made by a user
The formula feature is amazing.
The biggest benefit has been that it facilitates the work of our designers and all staff members and thanks to its integrations, we no longer have to leave the application much.
The security is great and vulnerabilities do not exist in the entire app.
We love the high availability.
What needs improvement?
It helped us a lot in content management issues for TikTok and YouTube, however, it would be good to have an integration for each social network to get all the data within a single platform. The work analysis could be automated. It would be much more efficient and profitable for all professional content creators and the popularity of the application would rise to 400%.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using the solution for more than a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is super stable and the dependability is 100%.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Saipa Article Clerk at a financial services firm with 11-50 employees
Easy to use with great time tracking and easy uploading
Pros and Cons
- "My favorite feature is time tracking."
- "If there was an option to print out a report per client that we have time-tracked, it would be really useful."
What is our primary use case?
My company uses Monday to keep track of tasks for every employee. We set up meetings and engage in active conversations about due dates and timelines being adhered to.
Monday is used for uploading critical documents which can be accessed by permitted co-workers. We use it to keep track of financial statement procedures. We are a financial and auditing firm, the website allows for multiple boards which we like to use per client. This website has truly helped us keep on board with all our clientele.
How has it helped my organization?
Monday is really easy to use. The website allows for unlimited boards and practically a virtual board. We mainly use it to keep track of financial statement procedures, that is, where exactly are the auditors along with the audit. We also use boards to maintain our clientele information, for example, usernames, passwords, emails, addresses, tax numbers, and company registration numbers, the possibilities are endless.
This website has truly helped us keep on board with all our clientele, literally.
What is most valuable?
My favorite feature is time tracking. It is extremely precise and useful. We also provide accounting services at the firm and it is so mundane to sit with a stopwatch every time we work on a client.
This feature helps us bill the clients for the exact hours and minutes. Some clients have a tough time believing the time spent on their company.
What needs improvement?
If there was an option to print out a report per client that we have time-tracked, it would be really useful. This way we can attach supporting documentation to our clients, with proof of the hours worked on for their company.
In respect of time tracking, the reports option would be of great help in implementing invoices to clients. As we provide many services to our clients, for example, tax submissions, vat submissions, company, and individual submissions. We also provide registrations and deregistrations of various elements in businesses. Trust is vital. We are able to print out reports to support our time spent on these companies and individuals. In addition to this feature, I would like for Monday to introduce personal chats, this will help communicate and address information to related persons.
I would also like for Monday to introduce more customizations to the columns, such as notify, approving, etc.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've used the solution for about a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The app is definitely one of the most stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scale has great scope. This is used throughout my firm.
How are customer service and support?
I have not yet needed any support.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Neutral
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Monday only, and I absolutely love it.
How was the initial setup?
I'm not sure how easy or difficult the setup was.
What about the implementation team?
The setup was handled in-house.
What was our ROI?
The ROI can be found in great tracking, task allocation, and easy management.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price is totally worth it, however, the advertising could use some help.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I did not evaluate other options.

Article Trainee at Capstone Financials
Saves time, is user-friendly and has great organization capabilities
Pros and Cons
- "The feature that I have found most valuable is the boards on Monday which allow for allocation, time tracking, and storing of important information."
- "The product can be improved by allowing for some sort of autonomous deadline creation."
What is our primary use case?
I work in an accounting and auditing firm and I use Monday.com every day.
We use it for many purposes, mainly for keeping track of all the clients in the company as well as what work is required and when such work is due.
We use Monday.com to store passwords and completed financials, tax returns, and so forth.
Allocating work and keeping time spent on a project is always helpful along with due dates, emails, and reminders being sent and storing contact details, the multiple columns, and pages, Monday.com does it all.
How has it helped my organization?
Monday.com has improved our organization in many ways including planning, amongst many employees and many projects, and tracking time spent on a project as well as who does the work.
We are able to store valuable information such as digital files, contact information, due dates, and so forth and not have to worry about whether it is safe or not.
Since we started using Monday.com, we have been able to do work more efficiently and keep track of everything. Everyone enjoys using Monday.com and cannot go a day without it.
What is most valuable?
The feature that I have found most valuable is the boards on Monday which allow for allocation, time tracking, and storing of important information. This is quite valuable when it comes to an organization that is big, has many clients, and many employees.
We are able to keep track of clients and what they require and who needs to do what and we can get rid of the old whiteboard/pen and paper, saving us time and money and helping us go green. It is very user-friendly and the interface is clean.
What needs improvement?
The product can be improved by allowing for some sort of autonomous deadline creation. I'm not very certain of the possibility, however, it would be great.
Another aspect of improvement that would be great would be integration with other websites or applications such as Sage and CaseWare. Being able to directly upload information and so forth back and forth between two websites or applications would create a huge game-changer, that would completely allow Monday.com to the true title of "all in one place".
For how long have I used the solution?
I've used the solution for two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability is excellent. There have been no issues on my side.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability is good.
How are customer service and support?
I have not had a need to reach out to support and therefore have no experience yet.
How would you rate customer service and support?

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We did not use a different solution previously.
How was the initial setup?
It was straightforward and we did not have any issues. It was just your normal expected setup.
What about the implementation team?
We had an in-house implementation.
What was our ROI?
The ROI is impressive and has improved in many aspects. We are quite highly satisfied.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Automation is definitely my favorite feature as it makes our lives so much easier. Also, being able to create a hiring process on Monday.com which links a form to our website has definitely helped us a lot.
What needs improvement?
Monday.com is always upgrading its features. I struggle to keep up with it all as I am not a tech expert. However, if I had to pick an area that could be improved it would be the user-friendliness of the platform compared to other similar apps.

Head of Media Production at Sacret-Life
Great project tracking with helpful organization features and request forms capabilities
Pros and Cons
- "The best feature is the form for requests for new projects."
- "The solution could be improved by adding more plugins for Adobe (not just Photoshop) and adding a plugin for Discord."
What is our primary use case?
The solution helps to organize our workflow, to stay on top of projects and too manage team projects and to see if our team is overworked.
We use it for our graphic department and our video production, making it easy to see where are we with the projects. The request forms saved us a lot of time and made things more organised, without them we would have a big mess and miss communication with our creative team. Our main use case is to track our projects if they are done in time so we don't miss any deadlines or if the team is overworked.
How has it helped my organization?
Monday has drastically improved our workflow by helping us stay on top of up-and-coming projects or our internal projects.
Before using Monday we were sending e-mails for project requests. The number of emails made everything confusing and some projects missed their deadlines since we weren't organized.
Since we started using Monday about a year ago, our creative team has been organized and we don't miss any deadlines. We stay on top of projects and see what has a higher priority and what can be done later.
What is most valuable?
The best feature is the form for requests for new projects. This made our workflow much easier. Before the creative request, we tried to enter requests manually, however, that lead to misinformation or missing key features. Since we started implementing the request form, our creative team has more than enough information to start creating and making the deadline. Project tracking is also one of the best features so we know where the project is and how close to the finished product it is.
What needs improvement?
The solution could be improved by adding more plugins for Adobe (not just Photoshop) and adding a plugin for Discord. Our creative team loves using Discord as the main source for communications. If there was a plugin that would combine the two that would be amazing. Similar to the plugin for Photoshop, we would love to see another plugin where we could see in the threads updates of the projects, if the project is done, and if the project is stuck (and needs some helping hands). If this would be all synchronized it would help our team a lot.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using the service for about one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We haven't had any problems with Monday. We are impressed with the stability of this site. We didn't notice any crashes with the app (iOS and Android) so the stability is excellent.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scaling means being able to create and control customer experiences for any type of customer, any size group of customers, and for any or all portions of a business. Ever since we started using Monday, this solution made us scale much faster.
How are customer service and support?
Support is excellent.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We tried using Trello. For our line of business, Monday is the only solution that we need.
How was the initial setup?
For our new members of our team, Monday was and is the easiest solution to pick up and start working on. For users that never met with this solution, it was surprisingly easy for them to pick up and start working on projects.
What about the implementation team?
We implemented this through our in-house creative team.
What was our ROI?
We are well organised with the solution, which, for us, represents a 25% ROI.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We advise upgrading to a pro user account. The features alone that you get will save you time and money in the long run.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We Googled a lot of other solutions, however, we found out that Monday is the one we need and is easier to pick up for new members.
What other advice do I have?
We would just like to see more plugin support, like a plugin for Discord
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Hybrid Cloud

Communications Specialist at Northeastern REMC
Helps with organization, has automation capabilities, and allows for use of subitems
Pros and Cons
- "Subitems really help me stay organized when a project has more than one piece."
- "There are so many bells and whistles that I don't feel like I'm using Monday to its full potential."
What is our primary use case?
Our marketing team uses Monday.com as a project management system. We are currently a two-person team and this solution helps us stay on track and provide updates about various projects. We look forward to expanding the use of Monday.com into other departments.
When I used Monday at my last job, we had a team of four which meant there were so many moving pieces and projects. Monday helped us silo everything we were working on into one place. Our boss could easily see items needing review and could get a status update pretty easily.
How has it helped my organization?
Instead of using flagged emails, a spreadsheet, or a paper calendar as a way to keep track of various projects, I can easily create an item on Monday. Nothing gets lost, and I can add notes and details to each item.
Subitems really help me stay organized when a project has more than one piece. (Which happens more often than not.) The automation is very helpful in the review process on many projects. Having an email sent to the person requesting the project automatically when the status changes save so much time.
What is most valuable?
The introduction of subitems has been a game-changer. I love being able to group together different pieces of projects under one item. It keeps me more organized.
I also love having different automation set up to make our workflow between us and different departments seamless. I have boards for each month so I know what I should be focusing on.
I also like being able to sort projects based on who owns them or how I've tagged them. I've just recently started looking into the different ways to view a board, and I can't wait to dig in further.
What needs improvement?
There are so many bells and whistles that I don't feel like I'm using Monday to its full potential. I know that's on me, however, maybe offering more webinars or having users show other users how they use Monday, in full detail with examples would help. Perhaps having industry-related groups that could have a "show and tell" every month would be helpful. I'd love to find someone who has a job similar to mine in the same industry show me how they use Monday. There are so many options and ways to use it effectively.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've used Monday.com since late 2018. I liked it so much that I also took it with me to my new job in 2019.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I've never had an issue with stability. It works exactly like I want it to when I want it to.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Monday can be fully customized and used in so many different ways. I can't even imagine the possibilities.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
My other solution was using my Inbox, a paper calendar, and a spreadsheet. Using Monday makes way more sense.
How was the initial setup?
I thought it was straightforward, however, having all of the options available make it a little overwhelming at first.
What about the implementation team?
It was set up in-house by me.
What was our ROI?
I'm unsure as to if we've seen an ROI.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Any setup cost or money spent will be well worth it by all of the time you get back into your day.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I did not evaluate other options.
What other advice do I have?
I cannot say enough good things about Monday.com. I'm a customer for life.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
Disclosure: My company does not have a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer.
