Valuable for remote work security and enhances endpoint protection effectively
At my last job, we used FortiEDR to secure endpoints for 8,000 employees across MacBooks and Linux machines, ensuring the protection of backups and VPN connections. In 2020, we faced a significant challenge with remote work in Brazil, where BitLocker was utilized. FortiEDR proved invaluable as it…

Stable, and scalable, but needs better integration
We use the solution for antivirus endpoint security for all our end users Seqrite Endpoint Security provides a good amount of security and there are additional features, such as delicate prevention, which we are using. We found the DLP to be innovative and useful. We didn't use it before, so it…

Good antivirus and endpoint security with an easy setup
We use the solution in situations where clients need broad security. We use it as a firewall, HA, and as a VPN The solution integrates well with the Sophos Firewall. We have the advantage of better security and blocking capabilities. It can be locked with a firewall even if there's no antivirus.…

Cons

"The security should be strong for the cloud. Some applications are on-prem and some are on the cloud. Fortinet should also have strong security for the cloud. There should be more security for the cloud."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"There's room for improvement in the quick response time and technical support for integration issues, especially when dealing with multiple vendors."
"Integration with Azure and SaaS provisioning tools could improve Fortinet FortiEDR."
"The EDR console should have more extensive reporting. You shouldn't need to purchase FortiAnalyzer. It should be included in the EDR part. The security adviser cloud platform could be improved with more options for exclusive or intensive rules for devices."
"Once, we had an event that was locked and blocked, but information about it came to us two or three days later."
"We've encountered challenges during API deployment, occasionally resulting in unstable environments."
"The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection."

"The solution needs to improve stability."
"It should be able to detect and report any ransomware attack but currently, it doesn't detect and it doesn't report any."
"I would like to see Seqrite add a remote profile so we can implement different policies for users connecting to the in-office LAN and those accessing the office network from home or a public internet connection."
"There could be enhancements made to the DLP."
"Lacks delegated administration privileges for large organizations, and differential permissions for admins."
"One area for improvement in Sophos EPP Suite is the support response time, particularly of the management team. It could be faster because I only got a response from the manager after a few days. If you open a case directly from the website, the response from the technical support agent may have been faster. I didn't open the request from the website, so that could be the reason why the response time took longer."
"The support could be improved. The response times are slow."
"I would like to have the capability to support legacy operating systems because the majority now don't support Windows XP, and Windows 2000."
"The solution could be improved in terms of the performance of the appliances. Sometimes the appliances in the market can be quite large. Additionally, in comparison to other appliances, such as FortiGate, Cisco Firepower, or ASA, it could be improved in terms of package processing or traffic handling."
"Sophos EPP Suite could improve the way it can be installed. They used to have one installer and now they have two, one for the server and one for the client. I don't know the difference, it brings confusion."
"The management console need improvement."
