Infrastructure management solution suitable mostly for the Huawei product line and varies in complexity of deployment
The initial setup is very complex, however, they do offer a one-click option that makes it very easy to install. I would rate the initial setup an eight out of ten because if you experience any problems, you need to have some knowledge of the product. Deployment only takes a couple of hours. The design of the setup takes a bit longer, especially of if it is not a Huawei network. With the one-click setup, it'll automatically install on the Huawei appliance and the process is very simple. If you have to install it on a VM, then it's a very complex process. If it's a Huawei provided appliance, then you don't need anyone to maintain the solution.

Comprehensive incident management module
ServiceNow is a very good product, but it's widely used in the industry. Overall, I'll give it an eight out of ten. I would advise customers that this is a very useful setup. We get a lot of real incidents, apart from false incidents. Also, ServiceNow has its pro application setup related to AI ops. So, as per the customer, if we need to figure out any issue, we can initially use the standard ServiceNow application. After that, if we separate ServiceNow using AI ops, we can get many features. It is machine learning and AI-based. After that, we can get a lot of features. In normal ServiceNow, we have to search for routers and other things, but we can get these things automatically from the system in AI operations. So, there is a set of things we can advise the customer in such a way.

"The product is stable."
"We use Huawei eSight to monitor devices like Wi-Fi controllers, LAN switches, and routers."
"One of the most beneficial features of Huawei eSight is its simplicity and ease of use."
"I like that it supports all our Huawei devices. Unlike other network monitoring tools that monitor Huawei devices, it provides more details when it comes to monitoring or management. We can get complete details about the devices, and management is also simple."
"We can scale the solution."
"eSight allows me to monitor and solve any problem in the backbone and any switch in real-time."
"It has been very useful for tracking. It has evolved a lot over time, and there is a single pane of glass where you can track and see everything."
"It helps streamline management and processes."
"I like the solution due to the fact that it's scalable."
"The solution is very capable and user friendly."
"The asset management tools are very valuable."
"You can improve integrations of the operation with the solution."
"It is a market leader and is very implementation-friendly. Developers have a clear understanding of how the solution works, and it is mature enough to handle different client needs."
"Their Event Management is very good."

Cons

"This solution could be improved by offering monitoring for all devices and not only Huawei devices."
"Something that could be improved is the lack of integration with Cisco switches. In the next release, I would like to see better reporting."
"The price could be less costly."
"The solution needs to improve it's user interface to make it more modern and stylish. They need to design proper menu positions, features, etc. Right now the layout is complicated."
"The variety of license types should be made simpler as, at present, it is complex."
"The solution and the operating system come separately. It would be easier if we did not have to deploy anything. A bundle feature would be better."
"It is not a very flexible product."
"It will be better if they can make the simple network topology part more presentable. It would also be better if they had API integration and integration with third-party devices."
"The most complaints we have received from our clients are the solution's discovery aspect. I've heard a few concerns from the customers where we have to integrate with a third-party tool to make a full-fledged discovery along with ServiceNow. ServiceNow alone does not do the total capacity of the discovery. The discovery portion of ServiceNow IT Operations Management is not in-depth as what the customers are looking for. The information that it gathers from the assets is a little more limited than what other tools provide."
"The solution’s licensing cost could be improved."
"ServiceNow IT Operations Management could do a little bit better with integrations. Integrating ServiceNow IT Operations Management with CMDB processes needs a little more work."
"Enhancing automation-related solutions, such as Wi-Fi, porting, machinery, and product automation would help to achieve better operational outcomes."
"Regarding ServiceNow, there is room for improvement in terms of customization, particularly in the area of self-customization."
"I advise others not to customize a lot while using the solution."
"The initial setup phase was hard and could be made easier."
"Even though they call it low code there are a lot of customizations needed, especially from an ITOM standpoint."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Pricing depends on the competition. If your competitor is like Cisco, then Huawei is much more competitive when it comes to pricing."
"I would rate this solution a nine out of ten for pricing. The pricing depends on which features you use and can become expensive."
"The pricing for Huawei eSight is reasonable, especially with the base license and incremental licenses for additional devices. However, the variety of license types can be a bit complex. We used to sell eSight but switched to another solution, so we're not actively trading it anymore."
"The price is very expensive."
"Its pricing is better than any other Huawei product. Some products are cheaper in Huawei, and some products are cheaper in Cisco. Cisco has more benefits and options than Huawei if you consider different network environments."
"ServiceNow IT Operations Management is a costly solution. I'd rate the price at ten, on a scale from one to ten with one being the lowest and ten being the highest price. Some clients do have a problem with the price, but most find that the solution is worth the cost."
"I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten since there are vendors who are cheaper."
"The cost of ServiceNow is much higher."
"The pricing is high and may be excluding the small to medium-sized enterprise businesses."
"It has different subscription models."
"It is expensive. It is around 10 Euros per server per month."
"My customers pay for the ServiceNow IT Operations Management license annually. I'd rate the pricing based on value. ServiceNow IT Operations Management is a premium product as it has better features than competitors."
"The price of ServiceNow IT Operations Management is expensive."
