Fast and has a friendly UI; allows you to consume heavy applications

An area for improvement in OpenText Exceed TurboX (ETX) is the installation process because you need some technical knowledge to install it. Implementing the solution requires knowledge and understanding, so if you're a user, you'd need IT assistance to set up OpenText Exceed TurboX (ETX). What's lacking in OpenText Exceed TurboX (ETX) is a help portal for users to ask questions and seek assistance. The website has a standard FAQs page, but I would like more articles and online material, so you can deal with questions and some of the issues that arise rather than dealing with customer support. I want a portal or online system similar to what Microsoft provides for Microsoft Office products.

So, the advanced options for managing the BDIs are very important."

"It is very expensive. Its price needs to be improved. They can do a better job with external resources such as a USB or a hard drive. When I tried to connect using these external resources, it failed a lot of times. I had to do a shared connection with a local laptop and then connect from a network standpoint, rather than through VMware Horizon point. They definitely have weaknesses with external connections. A lot of companies probably don't let people use external connections because it defeats the purpose of having a cloud solution and keeping the data in a secure area. You can copy to an external device, and you can lose the data. A lot of companies may not focus on this feature, but if you are providing it, you should make it work."

OpenText™ Exceed™ TurboX is secure virtual desktop software that enables modern hybrid work. Leveraging the Exceed TurboX hybrid cloud VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure), organizations can allow employees to work from anywhere and any device. Pixel-perfect virtual session display - Displays graphically demanding virtual desktops, including support for UHD displays and multiple monitors as part of the powerful OpenText VDI solution.

Virtual GPU support - Supports NVIDIA vGPU, enabling a single graphics card to be split across up to 16 virtual machines for hardware-based rendering, H.264 compression and direct framebuffer access to open 3D applications faster.

Browser and native clients - Offers access through any device to virtual applications and desktops using the native clients for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
