Provides visibility to all query times but technical support can take too long to resolve issues
The most valuable feature of AppDynamics is that we can see all query times. If a particular query is taking too much time, we can alert it. For example, for a particular transaction, if it is related to the database we know that the slowness is coming from the database and can see the relevant details. In the application flow map, we are able to see that the flow is going to the database and how much time it is taking. We can understand if the database is responsible for the slowness or not. This also enables us to create a ticket.

The solution has a good auto-instrumentation feature, but its monitoring is pretty weak
We use Instana Dynamic APM to do application monitoring for the OpenShift Container Platform Instana Dynamic APM gave us insight when there wasn't a lot of stuff on the market. The most valuable feature of Instana Dynamic APM is auto-instrumentation. The solution's monitoring is pretty weak and…
