UiPath Platform Value/Cost/End-to-End Automation - End-to-End Automation
Does the solution enable you to implement end-to-end automation? If yes, how important to you is this end-to-end automation and why?
UiPath enables us to implement end-to-end automation. We can use AWS, Azure, or any other product. It is easy for us to integrate UiPath with our current offering. It is very easy to implement and go live.
View full review »The solution enables us to implement end-to-end automation for 90% of the processes. End-to-end automation is always important for us because it creates business for us. When we implement UiPath for the client, each client will be satisfied and happy with us, and we can get more business.

View full review »UiPath facilitates end-to-end automation, eliminating manual intervention for repetitive tasks. This frees up employees for more strategic work. Data processing, server configuration updates, and many other processes can be fully automated using robots. Even tasks requiring some human oversight benefit from UiPath's Document Understanding tool, which accurately extracts data from documents. While automation won't eliminate all human jobs, it can significantly reduce repetitive tasks. Instead of cutting jobs, organizations can redeploy employees to higher-value activities. However, the decision to automate depends on the specific business needs and process criticality. Overall, end-to-end automation with UiPath saves time and resources for organizations.

Additionally, UiPath's built-in flowcharts eliminate the need for Visio, reducing costs. Furthermore, integration with Azure and pre-built templates minimizes the need for PowerShell scripting, streamlining the development process. Overall, UiPath simplifies automation by offering a comprehensive and user-friendly platform.
View full review »UiPath allows for the creation of end-to-end automation workflows, even for tasks with imperfect results. For instance, if an AI extracts data from a PDF with a low confidence level, UiPath can trigger the creation of a ticket in an action center. This ticket would then be assigned to a human for review, who can confirm the data's accuracy or return the document to the AI model for improvement.

While UiPath has built-in connectors for these situations, the lag prevented interaction with the NetSuite interface entirely.
View full review »UiPath offers end-to-end automation, but there's a catch: it requires full access and control within the target environment. This means UiPath needs security permissions to interact with and potentially run other applications, which can be a challenge to set up. While achieving end-to-end automation is valuable, this access requirement can be a hurdle.
View full review »UiPath enables end-to-end automation. A negative side of this automation is that it replaces a human already doing that specific job. A human previously did any automation implemented through UiPath. However, by automating through UiPath, we free up that employee's bandwidth, enabling them to focus on other tasks or housekeeping activities instead of repeatedly performing the same repetitive task.

While working on the projects, we used two versions of UiPath: the enterprise and cloud versions. The orchestrator that comes with the enterprise version is different from the cloud version. The cloud version had better end-to-end automation, and the ease of use and accessibility were superior to those of the enterprise orchestrator, which is the on-premise version of UiPath. Although the enterprise version lacks a few features, the cloud version provides a complete solution.

We could easily implement end-to-end automation. I was consulting a group within my company. I was helping them build the flow. For them, it was a game changer because they would have spent several man-hours trying to transfer all that data into SAP, creating all those SAP items. After that, they were not only able to complete the task at hand; they were also able to replicate and create more automations on their own because they knew how UiPath works. They learned a little bit more and were able to continue to expand the other processes they had.

We use both attended and unattended automation options within the UiPath Platform. The unattended automation is good, but we have some performance issues with some of the systems we are working on. However, it fulfills the purpose for our work.

It is very important from a process point of view because we usually have some shortage in resources and if we do half of the process instead of an end-to-end process, then there needs to be a process owner who needs to be responsible for it, which we do not want to maintain. We want to eliminate the need for those resources and have the process end-to-end be done by bots. It is fairly important for us.

We are also trying to automate the end-to-end underwriting flow in insurance.

View full review »We've been able to build a process to handle what previously were multiple manual processes where people would go in, review purchase orders, and make changes to them themselves. Now, when we have an order come through and need to make a change, they can submit a change through a ticket, and UiPath Platform will do it all, saving us about an hour of personnel time per head every single day, which has already been a huge change in our organization.
One of the biggest benefits of the features of UiPath Platform that I can think of is that we've been able to build a process to handle what previously were multiple manual processes where people would go in, review purchase orders, and make changes to them themselves. Now, when we have an order come through and need to make a change, they can submit a change through a ticket, and UiPath Platform will do it all.

View full review »The biggest benefit of usage is just being able to add runners to processes that are data-heavy or processing-heavy, so we can limit the server bandwidth and resources.
View full review »We use it for multiple different use cases, however, with one of our main clients right now, it is more about UI automation, including legacy systems that don't offer any API integration, so that we can consume them as part of the end-to-end workflow.

View full review »We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow.
View full review »My advice to other organizations considering UiPath Platform is that it depends on the use case, but if they are looking to use it for end-to-end business processes, I would definitely encourage it, just because of the orchestration piece and being able to connect everything together in one platform.
View full review »When comparing solutions, both positive and negative aspects stood out to me. Power Platform is a platform, but it's a bunch of smaller products that weren't really thought out as an overall platform - individual products that are combined together in the Power Platform. With UiPath Platform, it actually feels an end-to-end platform that is fully integrated with all the different products that are in the ecosystem.
View full review »We have a process where we have to enter a website using UiPath Platform in general. Whenever the queue is empty, we actually go to a part of the website where we export all the items that the team would have to do manually, and that gets uploaded into the queue. When there's content in the queue, we start processing the transactions, which is when it starts doing what it has to do. Once that's done, it reads the queue again to see if it's empty. If it's empty, then we look at the website to see if there's more content to download or not. Typically, whenever there is something to download, that means there's work the team has to do, creating a self-cycle where it checks to see if there's always something to do.
View full review »We're not fully up and running yet, but we've been working on an end-to-end testing method with UiPath Platform that will take new hires, people that come in, we enter them in SAP, and then we can kick off testing for all the downstream applications to make sure that user makes it there and has all the proper information. It's nice to be able to have all of that in one place and have it automated to where we can just run one process and have it kick off all those different jobs to check the different applications.
View full review »I would recommend the UiPath Platform to other users because it is a complete solution and a full ecosystem of automation that connects all parts seamlessly.

As a developer in the current organization, we take requirements from the client, develop it ourselves, test it ourselves, and deploy our automation. We do not have a particular team for development, testing, or deployment. We handle our own use case end to end. I do not see any issues there. I think it is pretty feasible and easy to handle the deployment in UiPath Platform.
