Most of our resources are first going ahead with UiPath Academy courses. After that, we give training because that is a basic point to start with. We are even onboarding the freshers. We ask them to go through their Academy courses, and after that, we allocate an in-house mentor. It will be much easier for us after they have an outline in their mind regarding the processes they have to go through. Once they finish it, we have an internal assessment and a training team that will assist in complex use cases. The biggest benefit of UiPath Academy is its proper outline and structure in terms of education. Anyone who can follow will at least get 40% to 50% of the learning from there. After that, they will learn a lot based on their practices. They can practice some examples from there if the basic concept is clear. The courses are structured in such a way that even kids can also start with them. The courses in UiPath Academy are well structured and planned.

Our vendors initially struggled to adapt to the cloud-based platform after migrating from on-premise software. To bridge this knowledge gap, we directed them to the UiPath Academy courses, which proved to be a valuable resource. However, the extensive course library made navigating and finding the most relevant content challenging. Fortunately, UiPath's supportive team provided us with the necessary links, allowing our team to get up to speed quickly.

To learn UiPath effectively, we need a reliable source that provides accurate information. UiPath Academy serves as the ideal platform for this purpose—additionally, companies value certification as proof of UiPath proficiency. If we aim to become UiPath certified, UiPath Academy is our best option, as its courses are specifically designed to help us succeed in the certification exam. While other platforms like Udemy or Coursera offer UiPath courses, we may need more preparation for the certification, which involves a mix of theoretical, conceptual, and practical questions. We can learn practical skills elsewhere, but UiPath Academy is the best resource for mastering the theoretical and conceptual knowledge required for certification.

We use the vendor's UiPath Academy courses. I go through the academy courses a lot because I am not from that background or fully familiar with it. We have an external consultancy that helps us. They are very aware of the UiPath Platform and the features and everything and they stay up to date, but for me to stay up to date with the features or the capabilities of the tools and what else to learn, I generally use the academy courses a lot and they are really helpful.

The biggest benefit I've seen from UiPath Academy is that it serves as the starting point when we onboard junior developers. We ask them to complete specific courses as part of their training, even if they have some experience with UiPath Platform. It is also valuable for new products, as we upskill the team with the latest courses when UiPath Platform releases new products. However, there is often a delay since UiPath Platform typically releases features before the academy courses, and it would be ideal for them to provide better training earlier. It is a continuous learning experience, with almost all the basics completed by junior talent as part of the training program while senior team members continuously upskill with the latest courses.

The biggest benefit I've seen from UiPath Platform Academy courses is the understanding of the REFramework, which is critical for proper coding, exception handling, and routing to support groups.
The biggest benefit I've seen from UiPath Platform Academy courses is the understanding of the REFramework, which is critical for proper coding, exception handling, and routing to support groups. My engineers with engineering experience often fly through the first part, but pause at the REFramework, where I explain the importance of mastering it. Understanding the REFramework allows the firm to properly implement try-catch systems and route exceptions effectively, which is beneficial for ensuring everyone can jump into code they didn't deploy and understand how it flows together. It sets the framework within the company to support development and maintenance. If implemented correctly, it will not break and will bring stability to the process.

We have used the vendor's UiPath Academy course. UiPath Academy helps us ramp up people faster and scale a little bit faster. There's a lot of really good foundational knowledge in how to navigate the UI and how to use the product out of the box. However, for more advanced automations, it would be better if it was more curated. There's too much focus on the next product and not enough focus on making use of the current products that are in the platform.

I think UiPath Academy is a little confusing. Back in 2019 or 2022, it was good. You could clearly understand which exact course you wanted to pick and what you wanted to go through. Currently, there are bundles of courses. When I recently referred UiPath Academy to my neighbor who was interested in learning automation, I was literally confused about which Academy course I needed to refer. Previously, there was the developer certification, the standard certification, and the REFramework certification, which is advanced. The foundation and standard certification have now been divided into six or seven parts. It is very difficult to go through all those six and seven modules and send them to someone. Previously, all of these modules, which were six, seven, or maybe eight modules, were in just one course called the foundation UiPath course. It was much better when you could directly refer this course to someone instead of sending all those links or URLs.
