Pros and Cons
  • "The flexibility of the solution is excellent."
  • "Microsoft Teams for Mac isn't good enough just yet. It's an aspect of the solution they can still work on."

The initial setup is nice and easy.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

We have found the stability to be very good. The performance is great. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution is quite scalable. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so with ease.

We have about seven people on the solution, currently.

We do plan to increase usage if and when we do add staff to our organization.

How are customer service and support?

I've never actually been in contact with technical support. I can't speak to how knowledgeable or responsive they are. I simply don't any experience with them.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was not overly complex or difficult. It's very straightforward. It's easy. It shouldn't be too difficult for a company to set everything up.

I cannot recall the amount of time it took to deploy.

What about the implementation team?

When it was first installed, it was done by a third-party IT supplier. I wasn't a part of the implementation.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We do pay a licensing fee to Microsoft. I can't speak to the exact cost. I cannot say if it is paid monthly or yearly.

What other advice do I have?

I'm using primarily the desktop version.

I'd rate the solution at a ten out of ten. We've been very happy with its capabilities.

I'd recommend the solution to other users and companies.

  • "It would be better if Microsoft supported more integrations."

What is our primary use case?

We use it mainly for messaging and data storage. Mainly for storing OneDrive data.

It would be better if Microsoft supported more integrations.

For how long have I used the solution?

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It's a scalable solution. We have over 65,000 users at the moment.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup and deployment are easy.

What about the implementation team?

Nobody will implement this solution for you, whether you're a company or not. If you get a laptop, it's pre-installed. But if you do it from your home, doing your own DIYs, and you have mobile phones, your home laptops, and you need to install it on your own, you can do it. It's easy if you're familiar with Microsoft products.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend this solution to potential users.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Microsoft 365 Business an eight.

A stable and scalable enterprise office solution that requires zero maintenance
Pros and Cons
  • "I like that there's no maintenance involved."
  • "The price could be better."

What is our primary use case?

We use Microsoft 365 Business for mailing services. I used to use Teams, and it was helpful. There are always meetings and all those things happening within Teams.

What is most valuable?

I like that there's no maintenance involved. It's perfect. Obviously, there's no headache of maintaining the licenses. Everything comes as a bundle, and it helps us.

What needs improvement?

The price could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Microsoft 365 Business for about two or three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Microsoft 365 Business is stable. We haven't had any issues.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Microsoft 365 Business is scalable. We have over 75 users at the moment.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward.

What about the implementation team?

We implemented this solution by ourselves. We have about five to ten technical team members working with this solution.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It could be cheaper. It's cloud-based, and we pay a yearly subscription.

What other advice do I have?

I would definitely recommend this solution to potential users.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Microsoft 365 Business a nine.

Stable and flexible with an easy initial setup
Pros and Cons
  • "The installation process is very straightforward."
  • "It would be nice if we had the option to open a document even if it was created with another application."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution on a daily basis for work-related activities.

What is most valuable?

Overall, the solution is very good.

It's a stable product.

It's quite a flexible solution.

We've found the solution to be easy to use, even for those who don't necessarily always use Microsoft products.

The installation process is very straightforward.

What needs improvement?

So far, everything has been very good in terms of usage. I can't think of an area where it could be improved. It's not missing any features at all. It's quite a complete solution.

It would be nice if we had the option to open a document even if it was created with another application. For example, we use both Google Docs and Microsoft Docs. When we send documents, we need to be aware of what application the person receiving the document will be using. If I know someone is using Microsft, I'll send the document to them in Microsoft. However, it would be nice if I could send them a Google Doc and they would still be able to open and access it in Microsoft.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for about four years at this point. It's been a while.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I'm not sure of how many users are on the solution currently.

It's my understanding that we do have plans to increase usage in the future.

How are customer service and technical support?

I don't have any experience with Microsoft's technical support. I can't speak to how helpful or responsive they are. I don't have enough experience to form an opinion.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

While we didn't previously use a different solution, we are actively using Google products currently. We use a lot of Google Docs and Google Sheets.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was not overly complex or difficult. It was pretty straightforward and very easy.

I cannot recall how long it took to actually deeply the solution. It might have been only a few hours or so.

What other advice do I have?

I'm not sure which version of the solution we are using. It's my understanding that it is an older version and not necessarily the latest.

I would rate the solution at a ten out of ten. We've been quite pleased with its capabilities overall.

I would recommend this solution to other users.

A user-friendly business solution that is stable and scalable
Pros and Cons
  • "It is easy to use. Because it is cloud-based, in terms of the user, you are not really affected in terms of performance when you are out of sight."
  • "It could be more secure, but we have not really had issues with it in terms of its security."

What is our primary use case?

We are only using it for emails.

What is most valuable?

It is easy to use. Because it is cloud-based, in terms of the user, you are not really affected in terms of performance when you are out of sight. You are not your own desk here, so you are not really affected by the issues of speed or because you are out of the premises. It becomes very easy to use. If you have been using Microsoft services, it becomes easier to move with this product. I find it straightforward.

What needs improvement?

It could be more secure, but we have not really had issues with it in terms of its security.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Microsoft 365 Business for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Microsoft 365 Business is quite stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is a scalable solution.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is not that complicated.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I think that the price is fair. You can pay it quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly, depending on how many users you have and your turnover. I think we have been doing it every six months.

What other advice do I have?

I think it is a very good product and would recommend new users to try it.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Microsoft 365 Busines a nine.

Flexible, easy to use, and scales well
Pros and Cons
  • "The product is very flexible."
  • "Microsoft Teams for Mac isn't quite good enough yet."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for just normal Office 365 activities. That includes, for example, emails, spreadsheets, presentations, and that kind of office work.

What is most valuable?

The solution is very stable and has a good performance.

The product is very flexible.

We've found the solution to be very easy to use.

The initial setup is very straightforward and simple.

The solution has the capability of scaling quite easily.

What needs improvement?

I can't recall any features that would need to be added to improve the solution. It's quite effective as-is.

Microsoft Teams for Mac isn't quite good enough yet. . Until they find a way of allowing you to send your compute audio during a teams meeting it is useless as a presentation training tool

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for a few years at this point. We've used it since it first was available - since it was launched.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is very stable. Its performance is reliable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. We've found the stability to be very good overall.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have seven staff members on the solution so far. Should we expand our workforce, we will expand our usage of this product, meaning we do have plans to scale in the future.

It's a very scalable product. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so with relative ease.

How are customer service and technical support?

I've never had to reach out to technical support and therefore do not have an opinion on how knowledgeable or responsive they are. I can't give any feedback on them.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is pretty straightforward and simple.

I can't speak to the actual installation process, however. When it was first installed, it was done by a third party IT supplier.

What about the implementation team?

I did not handle the solution's initial setup. A third-party IT supplier handled the implementation.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We do pay a licensing fee in order to use the product. I cannot speak to the exact cost.

What other advice do I have?

We are customers and end-users. We don't have a business relationship with Microsoft.

I primarily use the desktop version of the solution.

I'd rate the solution at a ten out of ten.

It's an excellent product and we've enjoyed its overall capabilities.

I'd recommend the product to other users and organizations.

Very stable, easy to use, and simple to implement
Pros and Cons
  • "We've found the solution to be quite stable."
  • "It would be ideal if the licenses covered more devices. It would be nice if one license, for example, allowed a user to have it on at least five devices."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use it in our company for business purposes. It's mandated that we use it. Our company uses it primarily for the Microsoft Office Suite - including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It is used for everyday work in the office.

What is most valuable?

We have found One Note and One Drive to be very useful applications.

The solution is very easy to use and is designed to be very user-friendly.

We've found the solution to be quite stable.

The scalability is good. It's been sufficient for our office needs.

The initial setup is extremely simple and straightforward.

What needs improvement?

The solution could provide us with more storage. It's always good to have more space available if we need it.

It would be ideal if the licenses covered more devices. It would be nice if one license, for example, allowed a user to access it from at least five devices.

Microsoft should add Visio to their business suite and not have it as a separate application.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for at least two years at this point. It's been a while.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution, over, has been very stable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. Its performance has been reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution can scale well. It is my understanding that we have one terabyte of storage and I'm not yet filling it up completely. It's sufficient enough for us in terms of size and scope.

We have about 200 users on the solution currently.

We likely will expand the usage. If we add employees, we will add them to the solution. As the business grows, our use of this product likely will too.

How are customer service and technical support?

I've never been in touch with Microsoft's technical support. We have our own in-house IT engineers, and, if we run into any issues, we call them.

That said, there haven't been any issues with this product and therefore technical support hasn't really been required.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is not complex at all. It's very easy and quite straightforward.

You just need an internet connection, a working account, and that's it. It's very fast to deploy.

What about the implementation team?

I set the solution up myself. I did not need the assistance of an integrator or consultant. It was very easy to handle without outside professional help.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution offers different licensing options. My understanding is that they have a lifetime license as well. Although I use this solution through my company, if I were to purchase it myself, I would likely choose to go with a lifetime license.

What other advice do I have?

Our company provides us with Office 365 and I am using it on my phone, on my tablet, and on my laptop. I use the company account.

I'd rate the solution, on a scale from one to ten, at a nine. There isn't any other solution on the market currently that can compare to it or compete with it.

I'd recommend the solution to other users and organizations.

A great solution for file sharing, project management, emailing, meetings, and more
Pros and Cons
  • "Integrating products and the overall communication between all functionalities is superb."
  • "The pricing model could be improved."

What is our primary use case?

We use Teams for organizing projects. We also use it for conference calls and integration with OneDrive and SharePoint, etc. As we also have an account in Dropbox for file sharing, we're duplicating costs. For this reason, we'll probably abandon Dropbox and convert everything to OneDrive and SharePoint. It must be SharePoint because it is above one data byte. We have to make the structure in SharePoint and migrate it. In short, we use it for file sharing, project management, emailing, meetings, and so on.

There are eight people in our company who use this solution — we have eight licenses. The technical team consists of just me for the time being.

We plan to expand our use of this solution — we are contracting people. Within one or two years, we will probably double the number of licenses we have.

What is most valuable?

It's integrated and the file version control is quite good. Integrating products and the overall communication between all functionalities is superb. As it's part of Excel, Word, and Outlook, it's quite easy for everyone to catch up.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for more than five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Microsoft 365 Business is stable.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I've used a lot of products, including OpenOffice and other products for macOS applications.

I find that Microsoft is more integrated. That's why it's easier to use Microsoft instead of the other ones.

How was the initial setup?

The initial installation is quite simple. It's probably one of the most simple installations I've encountered. The overall setup took roughly two hours.

What about the implementation team?

I installed this solution by myself.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing model could be improved. Microsoft is always splitting the pricing for a lot of add-ons — it's complex to manage. Still, the licenses are available for a fair price.

What other advice do I have?

I would absolutely recommend this solution to others. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give this solution a rating of nine.
