Great storage capacity and provides total flexibility and accessibility from anywhere
Pros and Cons
  • "Great accessibility and file storage."
  • "Lacks ability to deploy on more than two devices per license."

What is our primary use case?

We're a small startup company and an IT solution reseller in Dubai. I'm the operations manager.

What is most valuable?

The good thing about 365 is the accessibility and file storage. Compared to the desktop of the old Office application, 365 has total flexibility and accessibility from anywhere. It's easy to use.

What needs improvement?

These days, most people have multiple devices but you can only configure 365 on two devices with a license. I'd like to see a license option for multiple devices. Licensing costs are quite high especially for our trainees who have no need for the fully-fledged 365. It would be helpful to have an option for smaller packages that have a reduced licensing fee.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using this solution for four years.

We're very used to Microsoft products and they're part of our daily activities. I'm sure our usage will increase.

A flexible solution which is stable, scalable and boasts good tech support and easy installation
Pros and Cons
  • "I consider the installation to have been very easy."
  • "The solution should have better integration with other platforms."

What is our primary use case?

The solution can be used for everything, including shared point outlook and recommendations teams.

What is most valuable?

The solution's best feature is its flexibility.

What needs improvement?

The solution should have better integration with other platforms.

We are making a huge financial investment in processing that system and in finding the right software solution. We are trying to optimize this process and to find the ideal solution for  integrating our Microsoft software with the rest of our processing systems

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with Microsoft 365 Business for five or six months, although I believe that my company, in which I am new, has been doing so for five or ten years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is definitely stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution is definitely scalable.

How are customer service and support?

Tech support is fine.

When I encounter a problem, I get in touch with the IT department and they resolve it for me. As such, I do not have a clear picture of the response time. I can say that Microsoft's response time is very fast.

How was the initial setup?

I consider the installation to have been very easy.

It took 30 minutes per day.

What about the implementation team?

The installation can be done on one's own.

When it comes to the deployment and maintenance of the solution, we are talking about a big organization. As such, we have 40 people in management roles, 20 in engineering and several workers in the production department who use the solution.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The licensing of the solution is monthly.

What other advice do I have?

While I don't have a clear picture of the financial outlay we are making for this kind of software, I believe that it can cover everything, including the processing of that system and that which relates to our CAC customers. All things considered, the software can support all of our use needs during our work time.

We will certainly continue to use the solution.

I would absolutely recommend the solution to others. It is easy to use, which is its greatest feature.

There are around 1,000 customers making use of the solution in our organization.

I would estimate that 90 percent of our workforce makes use of the solution.

I, for sure, have plans to continue using the solution.

I rate Microsoft 365 Business as a nine out of ten.

I have been using Microsoft 365 Business for approximately one year.

We are using the latest version.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Overall, Microsoft 365 Business is a stable product. It will occasionally hang, but this is extremely rare. It is also possible that it is a hardware issue.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is an area I have yet to explore.

This solution is used by thousands of people in our organization.

How are customer service and support?

I have not contacted technical support. If I run into any issues, I contact our technical team

Easy to integrate, problem-free, and widely used across companies
    Pros and Cons
    • "The integration with all of the combinations of tools has been problem-free so far."
    • "The solution could be a bit more mobile-friendly."

    What is most valuable?

The integration has been easy. The integration with all of the combinations of tools has been problem-free so far.

It's a pretty ubiquitous product. Most companies use it for many tasks within their organization.

    What needs improvement?

The solution could be a bit more mobile-friendly. It's easier to use on a desktop or laptop. It's a bit different on the phone.

The applications could be more user-friendly for end-users - and this is especially true for the mobile version as everyone is doing everything on their phone these days. If there's something urgent, if you're on a vacation or something, you have to send an emergent presentation, an important proposal, something like that, you tend to use your phone. That's why they have to improve the licensing regarding mobile apps.

For how long have I used the solution?

We've used the solution since the company started, which is 2014. It's been seven or so years now.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have about 100 users on the solution. We're still a small to mid-size organization.

We use it across all departments, including marketing, HR, and finance. The C-level sales department also uses it a lot. We have a technical team and the pre-sales team as our job functions or our scope involves implementation for customers. We provide and implement new solutions, et cetera.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We also are a Microsoft partner. We started with Microsoft 365 first. We didn't use Gmail or any other solutions for security reasons. We've been using Microsoft 365 since the beginning.

What other advice do I have?

We are users and we are also Microsoft partners. We're resellers.

I'm not sure which version we're using at the moment. Our technical team would track that level of detail. Likely, it's the latest update. It depends on our work rotation. We have to do the batching and we have to download all the new batches for security reasons as we have infrastructure and architecture that concerns our customers. That's why we're used to updating all of our applications and handling batching from the security layers. We use a cloud deployment.

For most companies, it's the core of their business. That's why I would rate it at a ten out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Easy to set up with good collaboration capabilities and reliable stability
    Pros and Cons
    • "The scalability is great."
    • "It could be flexible in terms of working with other cloud-based solutions."

What is our primary use case?

The solution is actually one suite. Azure and Intune, everything comes together. Once you have Microsoft 365, it is one platform and its different products are all under one umbrella. We use SharePoint, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams - basically everything.

    What is most valuable?

The product makes it easy to collaborate once all the employees are under one domain. Everyone can easily collaborate and share work-related information on the Cloud and all documents are shareable.

The storage is much easier. Let's say that you are part of one company. You have that security with the company and you can easily share within Microsoft Teams and OneDrive. It's really easy now to collaborate, store, and share everything.

    The solution is very stable.

    The scalability is great.

The installation process is pretty straightforward.

    What needs improvement?

I don't have any issues with the product or its offering. There aren't any missing features. I've enjoyed working with it.

It could be flexible in terms of working with other cloud-based solutions.

For how long have I used the solution?

We've used the solution for one year at this point. It hasn't been that long just yet.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability of the product is very good. There are no crashes. It doesn't freeze. We don't deal with bugs or glitches. It's reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution scales well. If you need to expand it, as a company, you can.

We have about 1200 people using the solution at this time.

How are customer service and support?

Technical support has been very helpful and responsive. They are good. We are happy with the level of service we get.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously, we used Microsoft Office 2016.

    How was the initial setup?

The implementation was straightforward. It was not overly complex. From Intune, we had the option to deploy this product to all of the computers in the company. It was not very difficult as InTune provided this option for the deployment of Office 365 applications. You can just select whatever you want - Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, Teams, et cetera. It was very simple.

We have between 15 to 20 technical personnel in our organization that can handle deployment and maintenance tasks for this solution.

    What about the implementation team?

I handled the implementation myself. I did not need the assistance of any consultants or integrators. It was all handled in-house.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I like that the licensing is user-based.

The solution comes as one full suite that, once you buy it Microsoft 365, delivers everything you need under that license. You just have to select how many users will be using it. Once that happens, you pay for it yearly.

What other advice do I have?

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. It's been a great solution so far.

I would recommend the solution to others.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud
