The solution's most valuable features are robust security and communication within teams or channels. One of the other key features is its ability to allow a seamless transition from chat to a video call. Additionally, we can record the conversation and obtain a transcript as well.
Its sharing screens and collaborative note-taking during meetings feature works best. It proved valuable for a hybrid work environment, where individuals had to work from different locations due to factors like COVID-19. It helped bring people together, ensuring productivity and engagement.

The recording function, the transcript function, the chat function, the live caption function, and the setting up of groups to share documents are useful features of Microsoft Teams.
The meeting features are great. It is really easy. The group chats and chat history are valuable features.

Microsoft Teams has eliminated the need to go to the office for meetings. With the solution, there are no boundaries to having meetings. I can be on the other side of the planet and have a meeting. The solution has enabled me to have meetings wherever possible without restriction and also the ability to share documents instantly.
All of the solution's features are useful since we use it for saving data, chatting, meeting, and all such purposes.

View full review »Microsoft Teams' features that I find most valuable include the presentation feature, project planning tools, and the integration of OneNote. All the data we discuss during our meetings is loaded into the whiteboards and collectively stored in the same Microsoft Teams channel. This includes recordings and other relevant information. This is particularly helpful for those who may have missed a Teams meeting; they can easily catch up by accessing the channel and listening to the recording. It allows them to navigate through all the details and review stored notes.
The tool's integration with OneNote and Power BI is good. The current version of Microsoft Teams is significantly more user-friendly compared to previous versions. I find it easy to handle any user needs and provide assistance. The device installation process is straightforward, and configuring it for users is not complicated. This seamless and user-friendly experience makes it easy to connect with everyone.

Chat is one of the key features of Microsoft Teams. Whether it’s just with one person or with a group chat allows you to instantly message team members for quick discussions and feedback.
You’ll have less clutter in your inbox as prompt, quick questions get resolved over Teams chat rather than a potentially long wait for an email reply.

Microsoft Teams' video conferencing capabilities are good. The direction is very good, especially since we started using that feature early on.
The experience has gotten a lot better. In the beginning, it was difficult for a lot of people in a video conference. We couldn't see all the participants or it was difficult to move the screens around. But now, it's much more convenient to use.
It's great for meetings and even hybrid classes, for example, where the teacher has students attending in person and online at the same time. It's really convenient for that too, and I like that you can easily share presentations.
Sharing presentations is easy, which is particularly convenient for hybrid classes where the teacher has students both on-site and online.

All the features of the tool are good. Its feature that allows for meetings is very good. The solution's performance has also been good, and there have been no issues. I rate the performance of the solution a ten out of ten.
I used Skype for Business earlier, but it was unstable because we could not share files, and it used to hang a lot. Microsoft Teams is much more stable than other solutions like Skype for Business. However, due to its application size, Microsoft Teams becomes very heavy and consumes most of the RAM and operating system. I don't use the Microsoft Teams application because it consumes a lot of power due to its big heavy size.

The most valuable feature of Microsoft Teams is the ability to create Google calendar invites. When I click on that option to create an invite, it will go straight to Google in my web browser, and will creates the meeting placeholder. I'm then able to share it with other people by entering their email addresses in the provisioned location. I've not seen that option in Zoom. Additionally, the solution has high performance, and the video and quality of the calls are good. It has all the features that I need.

This solution sticks with the chat until it's deleted and it also enables the application of backend retention policies so it can be saved longer. If you need to adhere to any regulation or compliancy regarding data retention you can set policies for that. Within a Teams meeting, you can put in all your meeting notes, whiteboards, all sorts of communication tools that you use. It's a very simple, intuitive platform. The learning curve for clients is minimal.

Microsoft has delivered integrated tools and collaborative capabilities that continue to strengthen and bring great value to Teams. This positions Teams as the collaborative tool that will soon become the standard in the market for capabilities. The document and plans/assignment improvements are game changes from a simplicity and functionality perspective.
I really like the video conferencing, and the reason is because of the simplicity of scheduling and using the software. Since I'm using Outlook for my email and calendar management, and it's connected with everything. It's just a click of a button to schedule a meeting, and then, to activate or to start the meeting, it's just another click of a button. Everything is streamlined and simple.
The seamless integration and easy coordination with mobile devices is a wonderful aspect of the solution. It's great that, even if I'm not at my desk, I can still attend the Teams video conference and interact in the same way that I would if I were at my desktop.
There's an option to blur the background or to completely change your background. That's very helpful as we now use the solution to replace stand-up meetings. It removes background distractions for other users and allows participants to have a bit of privacy.
I have a regular meeting with a couple of people on my team, and normally, we would meet at somebody's desk or in an office or in the conference room. With Teams, we can all attend, and all see each other and we can have the same outcome as we would if we were all in the same room. While digital meetings as opposed to in-person meetings takes a bit of time to get used to, the learning curve is short because of the seamless integration.

The features that I like the most are the features we have now. I like every aspect of it. It is easy to use. It's on your phone, so it is mobile. You can respond without answering if you have a call or message. You can send emoticons so people know you have gotten their message. This type of response is very quick and doesn't leave the other party waiting. Those features are just like what you might do in WhatsApp or Messenger on Facebook. It is very familiar to anyone using those products.
One thing that we are looking to deploy — and we are testing it now — is to send and track kudos. We want to implement this new feature on a worldwide basis to thank team members for being good participants.

The most valuable feature for us was instant messaging. I did like the fact that you could start various teams so that if you wanted to instant message certain individuals, you could have the group chats going on in the background. But again, we were such a small company, we didn't actually use it. I think if it was a large company, fantastic because you've got large multiple groups feeding in. For a small company, no.
I liked the idea of being able to share, but we used Dropbox, so we found that we didn't need to share documents. It would have provided another layer, but our team is not large enough to warrant a group of individuals, multiple locations, all feeding into one document at different times. We didn't actually have a need for that.

The solution is perfect for meeting purposes, which is how we mainly use it.
The product has the capability to allow me to do recordings of any session which is very helpful. When the meetings are happening, I'm also able to text with people as a secondary form of communication.
I can use the calendar aspect with it to track my day and to know what I'm going to do.
For collaboration purposes, it's been very, very handy to use, and it's great for chat purposes. It's nice to not always have to pick up the phone when you can just chat via teams instead.
You can easily integrate with other applications quite easily.

The video conferencing would be the best feature. One of the main reasons for moving to this solution is that it's included with our Office365 subscription. As a company we were already paying to use it.

I would consider document management a valuable feature. It's really the integration, being able to create groups to share documents that I think is the best. In other words, I can set up a meeting and associate documents to that meeting and everybody can see it.

The most valuable feature for us is the Teams Planner module. This is a module where we enter projects and tasks that we want to track. We also use the Chats module and find that useful as well to work in conjunction with this tool.

The most valuable features are the messaging and the video calling, especially where you can add a background. It is very useful during confinement, and working from home.
The video calling is as interesting as Skype, but with a lot more functions with better and easier communication.
It is very quick.
It's a complete solution with video calls, calendars, messaging, downloads, and you can publish things. It's connected and is compatible with other Microsoft products. We don't have a lot of conflicts.

One big advantage of this solution over competitors is it is bundled with Office 365. This makes it more convenient. Additionally, this solution integrates well with Outlook, which is part of the bundle, and other applications such as your calendar.

What I like most about Microsoft Teams, is that we can pin applications on the top of the group. So I don't need to go to the browser to search for something or I don't need to go to an application on my desktop if I use cloud applications.
