We use Veeam Data to back up our VMware infrastructure.

My customers for Veeam Data Platform include enterprise, small, and medium businesses.

My primary use case for Veeam Data Platform is for backup, implementation of failover plans, and backup of data both on-premise and on cloud. I use it for backup Active Directory, backup Office 365, and other similar tasks.

We use Veeam Data Platform for backing up virtual machines and the entire environment. We back up Oracle and SQL databases with Veeam Data Platform. We are using Veeam Data Platform to back up 365, email, and mailboxes.

We have been using Veeam Data Platform for about 18 months to back up our on-premises environment. This includes all VMware clusters, Nutanix clusters, Hyper-V clusters, and Oracle and SQL databases. We are purchasing backup capabilities for mailbox 365 and VIP mailboxes.

The flexibility provided by Veeam Data Platform's hybrid deployment options is very simple, efficient, and user-friendly.

We manage Veeam for our customers. We are involved as partners and implementers between customers. We are not directly engaged with the vendors, but we provide services to our customers. 

Therefore, the use cases vary. For hybrid cloud data, the use case depends on the client's specific requirements. It primarily revolves around Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR). 

We secure their data using Veeam backups stored offsite in the cloud or on-premises storage, leveraging the safest options available. 

We also enable redundancy features like RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) and implement encryption. For encryption, Veeam offers three levels with the option for customer-managed encryption at the host level. This approach gives customers granular control over their data security.

I use Veeam Data Platform in my company to back up virtual machines and replicate them to offsite locations.

I've been using Veeam Data Platform in our data protection strategy regularly for the past year. We rely on it daily to manage our information.

My company uses Veeam's available tools on an on-premises model. We don't have a cloud workload. We aim for the on-premises replication and backup application through Veeam.

Veeam ONE is used as a backup for all of our critical workloads. My company also does the replication part with DR. Veeam ONE, which is used for centralized monitoring and for all the workloads, so it will give us some kind of capacity planning and performance recommendations.

My company views logs from Veeam ONE to see if there is any solution that we can give to customers. My company uses Veeam ONE to look at what advice we can give customers to ensure that all their servers are always protected.

I use the solution in my company to monitor the backup status and to plan in areas like capacity planning, such as how much current backup utilization is used. The tool can maybe predict the future trend of the data groups and their growing size.

I use the solution in my company mainly as a server backup for Windows Server.

Using Veeam Data Platform, I manage data migration to the cloud, business recovery, and various configurations.

Our common use case is to offer backup solutions and disaster recovery services to customers.

In terms of use cases, I'm very familiar with the environment and the platform. I've been using it for the past six years. I mainly rely on it to manage the users on the platform and resolve any issues they may encounter. If there's a problem beyond my expertise, I open a support case.

We use Veeam ONE for monitoring and reporting on our backup environment and Veeam environment. We also use it for supporting business functions such as SLA management and troubleshooting. We get nice dashboards from Veeam ONE. We also use its reporting functionality for month-end reporting for the clients as well as backup reporting.

For our clients, the optimal use case depends on their specific requirements. Our customers use it to monitor their backup infrastructure as well as the hypervisor. 

It is convenient to create backups of virtual machines, and hard disks. It's also applicable for backing up various other services. When dealing with a heavy workload, the process of backup is designed to be straightforward. It involves transferring data from on-premise to the cloud or vice versa. This encompasses different usage scenarios.

We use the solution for the backup of the servers on-premise. We also use it to back up our mailbox.

Veeam ONE is for dashboarding purposes. Veeam ONE has the ability to forecast how the infrastructure will be working in the future. You can visualize how you manage your resources or forecast storage. Veeam ONE can also forecast the usage of servers or the lifecycle of servers. It can tell you how your server's working currently and if you use X in the future, how many servers you require for new deployments. 

In my organization, we use Veeam for both online and on-premises backups for around 200 sites across the globe. All our secondary cloud backups are performed using Amazon Web Services. We first started with version 8.4 which came out about six years ago and we're now currently using version 10.0, with plans to upgrade all our backup infrastructure to version 11.0 in the near future. 

For each site, we have independent and standalone VBRs and every one of them is managed through the Enterprise Manager's console. For our reporting needs, we use Veeam ONE and a SolarWinds integration.

Our clients use Veeam Data Platform for backup and replication.

I use my company mostly to monitor Veeam O365's licensing and backup. In our company, we don't use it for infrastructure monitoring.

I find Veeam Data Platform to be an excellent solution with numerous features. It serves as a highly effective choice for backup, replication, and disaster recovery in my opinion.

My clients use Veeam One for monitoring. Veeam One offers backups and VM monitoring.

We have used the solution for combining cloud and on-premise storage, like a hybrid repository for storing our data and offloading. We have also created backups for Exchange and SQL. We also use the solution for endpoint protection like laptops and bare metal restore.

I am demonstrating specific reporting capabilities of Veeam ONE to customers, which includes a valuable yet lesser-known feature that enables the creation of a VIZIO diagram for the entire VMware cluster, displaying all servers that can be further explored. This feature is highly beneficial as it can create a comprehensive video diagram of the entire infrastructure, including servers, storage, and connected devices, in just one hour, whereas doing it manually would take weeks. However, the feature is not widely known and needs to be located in the software. It is an invaluable feature that can almost pay for itself if utilized.

The purpose of using this solution is to estimate the need for expansion and growth. This involves monitoring the number of restores, daily usage patterns, and the timing of tool usage. The primary objective is to ensure successful backups and that they occur as scheduled. You must examine any growth patterns that you detect, whether on a daily or weekly basis and analyze the number of restores you perform. This is particularly beneficial for sizing your target and determining retention capacity for both on-premises and cloud scalability. All the data and reporting aid in assessing the size, growth, and availability of your data, as well as its overall success.

My company uses the solution as a backup for Veeam images and databases.

We're still in a phase of the learning curve. Our learning curve is growing exponentially, and we are trying to get the best benefits from it as it's used for reporting and creating templates for reporting based on the business scope. 

We use it to back up and restore our virtual machine in a live environment without restoring the complete virtual machine. It just mounts its storage to the NFS and makes the machine live in seconds. That is our favourite feature in Veeam ONE.

I am a system administrator. My role is to oversee the support of the company's network. I also take care of the deployment and maintenance. We use Veeam ONE to optimize hypervisors or my virtual machines.

We primarily back up VMware and Hyper-V, and we have some physical boxes as well, both physical Windows and Linux boxes. We also use the scale-out capability going out to the public cloud. We don't have any NAS devices. So, there's no taking advantage of that. We're not using the instant recovery engine. I believe we use the Veeam ONE software as well. 

We have customers all over the place. They are using the current version and the earlier versions. 

In terms of deployment, it is a combination. In a lot of places, it is deployed in a private cloud environment with more than one site for replication, but we do have other customers that go out to the public cloud for an off-site copy. The cloud providers primarily are AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Our primary use cases for Veeam Backup & Replication are backing up to the cloud, backing up to a couple of deduplication appliances, and backing up to local disk - compressed to disk.

We're using Veeam for our on-prem backup of VMware vSphere environment and a couple of physical Microsoft servers. We're using version 10 of Backup & Replication.

We use it at our site for our nightly backup and for disaster recovery (DR) replication to another site. So, we use WAN Accelerator. We use scheduled copies to another datastore, and then, of course, we do it for our backups for SQL servers and other servers.

The solution is so good to use. It allows for proof of concept. One can run a test on the database, move backups from one server to another, do file restoration or make use of portal storage features. 

Backup and storage is very fast, reducing what would otherwise take hours to minutes. Veeam was designed for virtual environments. The first year it was involved in supporting VMware virtual environments. 

We use the solution to store the backups in other devices and local servers.

Most of the features and capabilities we implemented for our clients using the Veeam backup solution revolve around enhancing their backup processes. These include functionalities such as backup encryption, immutable storage, integration with various object cloud storage platforms like AWS Cloud, and ensuring compatibility with multiple object cloud platforms.

The solution is used for backup and restore. It can also be used for VM replication.

Our customers were seeking an affordable monitoring solution. We noticed that traditional options like VMware's Operations Manager are quite expensive, so we found a more budget-friendly alternative. Veeam ONE has proven to be a reliable tool not just for backups but also for general hypervisor management. 

My customers rely on Veeam Backup & Replication primarily to safeguard their systems, secure their workloads, and support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments. It allows them to back up their data across various cloud platforms and perform cross-platform restoration. For instance, they can back up VMware and restore it on Azure, among other scenarios. In addition to this, they can efficiently back up mainstream applications such as VMware Internet workloads, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Microsoft applications, such as Active Directory, Exchange, and more.

The solution can be deployed on the cloud and on-premise.

We use the solution for customers who want to back up their VMware environment.

I use the solution to monitor the services within the backend servers and to check the inventory of our infrastructure. I also use the solution to generate advanced reports.

We use Veeam ONE for backup and replication, and disaster recovery purposes.

We use Veeam Backup & Replication to back up our virtual machines in the VMware environment.

We use this solution to backup documents, photographs, video tapes, and data in the cloud. It is a public cloud and implementation is easy because all you need to do is create a new user, and then you can easily load the data.

Veeam takes our installation and server backups, then writes them on a disk and the tape backup. After that, it replicates the backups to another recovery site. IT is the only department that uses Veeam directly. It has three to five people.  

We are using Veeam Backup Replication for daily backups and disaster recovery.

The use cases vary because we work for several clients and deploy different solutions for each. Some of our customers have upwards of 5,000 users. But generally speaking, we use Veeam for copying databases and storage.

We are a technology company running our own data center and we have been using Veeam Backup and Replication for the past six or seven years out of the 18 years that we've been in business. Our staff comprises six other employees other than myself and we manage the data center by ourselves with our development team.

We use Veeam Backup and Replication for performing VM replications and backups for our 20-30 servers in the data center. Specifically, we use it for our VMware and HyperV server hypervisors, and (partly) with our Oracle OEM server. We also use Veeam for AD backups, which has been a very successful experience.

In all, we have around 700 end users with Veeam, of which about 500 are branch users and 200 are customers.

The solution is primarily used for backups. 

We're a managed service provider and we use it to back up our own stuff. We use it to backup all of our client's data. Obviously, depending on the client, they're very much siloed. We've got multiple backups and multiple instances of Veeam deployed in their particular partitioned-off networks. Those are daily backups. We do full backups and we do incremental backups. Exactly what that schedule depends on the client itself, however, on a daily or a weekly basis, we have the typical things that end users do where they delete files and we have to go recover them. 

Our primary use case with Veeam Backup & Replication is to backup critical data. We would recommend that a person put on a Veeam backup service so that in a disaster recovery scenario you set what has to come back up first because that is going to be the critical information that has to go back up as quickly as possible. You can put anything on critical servers, but we recommend that you use it for critical data that it is going to be restored within a four hour timeframe.

Veeam Backup & Replication can be deployed as agent-based or you can set it up to replicate back to a NAS, some sort of device onsite, so that a copy of your data goes to the device onsite and another copy goes to a data center for a backup as well. Then, if that server crashes, the device that's at the location has the latest copy of the good data from where they get the backup.

We use Veeam ONE because we have a Windows and Linux environment, and we also have Office365. Microsoft doesn't back up the data from Office365, they only have checkpoints so the customer is required to backup that data, if that's what their composite calls for. Although we use the solution on premise, we write data off to the cloud every couple of months. We are customers of Veeam One and I'm an IT professional. 

We use the product as a backup solution during emergency scenarios. 

I worked on a project involving a multi-cloud environment, specifically backing up on-prem servers to the Azure cloud. However, the project was not completed due to financial issues between our company and the client. The technical configuration, such as creating a Veeam Data Platform plugin on Azure and connecting it with on-prem servers, was mostly done, but the project was halted before creating jobs. The challenges were financial and not technical. This was my first and last experience with such a multi-cloud project. 

The solution is being used for licensing, for making reports and get graphs from there we can take the alerts of the process in Veeam One. The solution is used for any kind of utilization like if some machines are powered off, or some need any CPU alerts or memory alerts. So all these alerts for the issues can be received through Veeam One.

We use the solution to back up all our products, like Exchange, SharePoint, Linux, Windows, Oracle, and SQL.

It is used both as a virtual server and a physical server for enterprise backup that run different applications.

I use the solution to backup the VMware environment and Linux servers.

It's used to replicate the production environment from the primary side to the backup, or between two data centres.

It's used for all of our virtual environment backups. We use it in all kinds of IT, with over 3000 employees.

We use this solution for backup. Our company is a customer of Veeam and I'm the assistant manager and provide risk advisory services. 

The solution provides backup for my virtual infrastructure. We are customers of Veeam and I'm an IT manager. 

We have scheduled the backup to be done on our side. At certain intervals, depending on the capability of Veeam, we are doing the replication at a remote site on the same cluster that we use Nutanix as a backup. Basically, we have a Nutanix cluster taking backup of another Nutanix cluster. Outside of this, we are also using Veeam, which is on another machine, or basically another storage.

We have 19 Veeam running on a four-node cluster. Currently, we are using 80% of our RAM capacity and have more CPU and storage available, we still have capacity.

We moved to Veeam to have complete virtualization. It's perfect for us. It virtualized our workflows. Veeam is used to support only virtual machines and does not back up to our physical machines.

Veeam Backup Replication is used by my clients as a backup and recovery solution.

We primarily use the solution for backups in the virtualization area. They are experts in virtualization. For a lot of use cases, the customer doesn't have a backup in their virtualization for VMware HyperV or Nutanix. We are using Veeam to back up their virtualization. 

The solution is based on the IAF solutions that are specific for moving the data centers that we have to the cloud. This is the main tension for us right now. We are investing in some past solutions, however, we're not using them yet. There are some tests, some small tests, however, we are moving IAF solutions in order to move our data centers.

I'm the system admin, and I'm taking care of backups and every job in Veeam Backup. We have the AIX machines and we are deploying the AIX machine; we are doing the backup and trying to restrain the AIX on them.

We primarily use Veeam as a backup system, so for backup operations. Every company needs to have backups and restoration, and cannot live without it. We have ransomware, system failure, and a lot of problems facing us, so we need backups for the emailing systems, database, Hypervisor, and VMs.

I have a customer who used to use Veritas NetBackup, which is also a very well-respected enterprise backup solution. The company's compliance requirement to have daily backups meant that he had to fix issues even if that meant staying after work hours.

Veritas was doing a great job backing up his environment, but every weekend, he would receive a notification that a backup failed. He would then have to go back to the office and contact Veritas support. They would fix the issue, but he wanted something that will just work and that could be left alone.

So we did a proof of concept for Veeam and that's what happened. It was really easy to set up and configure, and he never received any notifications that required him to return to the office and fix an issue.

We are a system-integrator company and have a platinum sales-partnership with Veeam Software in Turkey. And also we are giving professional services to our customers on behalf of Veeam within the framework of the global VASP program. We take advantage of this experience to integrate many different environments as an output.

Regarding to this exprerince I can say these ;  Some of our customers use Veeam Cloud Connect platforms for off-site backups and VM replicas, in order to copy and handle disaster recovery scenarios. Some of them are just using the backup infrastructure in their on-premise platforms. And some customers have multiple sites by their own.  They are doing disaster scenarios on their own sites and they are not using any other cloud infrastructure. If you have a Veeam product, there are many scenarios you can consider. 

I have two to four servers, and I back up one VM to another VM through Veeam Backup. That's the primary use case.

We use this solution to backup and replicate our visualized and physical infrastructure. We use it to take backups on a daily/monthly basis; to take snapshots for disaster recovery; for application-aware processing.

Veeam Backup and Replication is mainly used by our IT team but we have a Veeam Backup Agent deployed on all of our workstations to make backups for end-users. In total, there are roughly 60-65 people using this solution in our company. 

For maintenance, we only require two engineers and a manager.

Our primary use case of this solution is for application servers, web servers on Linux, Windows, AIX, databases, Db2, Sybase, Oracle and the like. 

We primarily use Veeam Backup and Replication in small installations and projects with Windows as well as standard Linux systems. We also use it as a backup solution for cloud products such as Office 365. In total, we have around 14 Veeam users, which covers about 100-200 devices using it.

Regarding the technical implementation, we have three primary technical personnel that maintain our use of Veeam. Because our company is multinational, with data centers located in Nordic countries such as Finland, we often have conferences outside our country and we share the services used to configure and perform the maintenance of our systems when needed. In this case, I can't point to an exact number of all the technical staff involved with Veeam throughout the greater organization.

Ideally, when it comes to backups, we prefer to use only one solution rather than two. However, we also have customers in the healthcare sector in Portugal who are using legacy UNIX and Oracle systems, and Veeam does not have agents for these operating systems. So when these customers want to create disaster recovery plans, we like to use Commvault to set up replication and create backup copies of the data code.

We use this solution to back up our two VMware sites, and some physical boxes.

Mainly, it is used for our two VM sites at either campus.

It works with the client. We have it on a clustered SQL which works well.

We have local backups at either site, as well as some backups going to an external storage appliance. It gives us information about what is going on.

We use it for supplemental monitoring. Veeam ONE is based on our VMware. Although we receive alerts with VMware, Veeam ONE goes another step further with analysis.

With Veeam ONE, we're easily able to determine what has been impacted. For example, VMware will get an alert for an ESX host, and Veeam ONE will know exactly what VMs and what applications are impacted. It's not our primary source of monitoring, but when we have an issue, we go to Veeam ONE to figure out exactly where things are and to help us connect the dots.

Veeam is our primary backup system used with the DD2500 for the repository. We use Veeam 9.5 Update 3 on a physical Windows 2016 server with Proxy servers deployed one per host in our HA Cluster. We also use the Enterprise Plus licensing for Nimble Snapshot Integration for backups and this allows our backup window to be reduced.

We use the solution for protecting virtual machines and physical servers, as well as backing up data. The data platform mainly focuses on virtualization and physical environments, including database backup.

We use the platform to take backups of virtual machines and Office 365 mailboxes.

We use Veeam ONE for monitoring. 

Veeam ONE is a very good management product. With Veeam, you can control the underlying virtualization environment, along with VMware and Hyper-V. So, the product works with tools from other vendors.

I primarily use the solution for monitoring. 

I use Veeam ONE in testing environments. I don't use it in the production environment. I only use it for demo and testing tasks.

We have on-prem installations. In Belarus, it's not popular to use cloud features due to government regulations, and our customers use only on-prem environments.

The main use of Veeam ONE is to provide additional information on the backup environment, especially since the reporting in Veeam's base product doesn't give much information. Veeam ONE can add information like the number of jobs that fail and the percentage of those that succeed.

Our primary use case of Veeam Backup & Replication is for backing up the VMware environment and restoring files. We also use it for replicating virtual machines from one site to another. I'm an information technology consultant and we are customers of Veeam. 

It is our backup and recovery solution. We have a lot of hypervisors and virtual machines.

We are using its latest version. We just update it to the latest version.

Our primary use case of Backup & Replication is for Linux systems. We are partners of Veeam and I am the CDO.

Veeam Backup & Replication is useful for disaster recovery. Apart from that, it happens now and again that you make a mistake somewhere, and you have to go back to a previous state of a machine. 

I work with both on-premise and a mixed environment. 

We use Veeam Backup Replication for our VMware 6.5 and vSphere VMware 6.5 solutions.

We currently use Veeam Backup & Replication in our own environment. Veeam is very useful  with the share analysis and with what I get from Reporter. It's very smooth to use. Even the restoration is amazing. The replication feature capabilities are very good. It's useful for Windows products; Exchange, Express, and the like. I'm not sure how they could compete with another product, but it's better. Currently, we are just using this solution on our own site, but not yet integrating for customers. We are integrators of Veeam.

Protection of virtual workloads.

Our primary use case with Veeam Backup & Replication is as the intermediate agent. Veeam integrates devices between the main server and the replication station.

We set this resolution between the main server and our replication machine. It is getting images from VMware. We serve up with Veeam and it responds to the daily load. 

With Veeam Backup & Replication, replicated servers will be picked up again from the new location station machine. Now our table updates are available automatically. 

We get a lot of features with Veeam and we are happy to use this solution. After shutdown, the servers here automatically turn off and Veeam is keeping up all this. It's tension free work.

Backup and recovery.

Our primary use case is for a backup solution for our front-end servers. 

VMware backup, but considering to implement Veeam's replication feature to use as part of our DR solution.

We are using Veeam at our college and we have been connected for a while now. We use it for backing up virtual servers in the Hyperwave and it is working very well. It works well for backing up services. We can backup Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Sharepoint and it is actually easy to understand how to restore from it. It has an easy UI.

Transforming from the physical system to virtualization -- vSphere or Hyper-V, KVM and then monitoring reporting infrastructure.

My primary use case for this product is for backups and reporting.

I use it for our VMware environment and physical servers. It is a good product, in regards to performance, as well as data protection.

Until a year ago, this solution was our primary backup and recovery product. We are a cloud connect partner so we provide backups both onsite and offsite as well as replication.
