What is our primary use case?

Process automation in a global business center of a global mining and manufacturing company. We are mainly focusing on financial processes (e.g., reporting, fixed assets creation, invoice management) and HR processes (personal data sync between SAP and local payroll systems, automatic administration of external consultants).

How has it helped my organization?

We've already implemented 30+ small processes to automate, built a knowledge center of RPA and saved a couple of FTEs through the automation journey.

What is most valuable?

Orchestrator - the central management component and the screen capturing part of the development tool (Studio).

What needs improvement?

User access management - to be able to set up user rights in a more sophisticated way. In the current version if you grant e.g Execute access to a user it can execute all robotized process in the given environment, you cannot specify the right on a process level.

This product provides most of the good software APIs that can easily integrate our solutions with processes

What is our primary use case?

The primary function of the organization is quick data entry to specific systems better than humans, with accuracy and without any interaction.

How has it helped my organization?

This product can work heavily with data entry. Most of the software, when working with them, don't allow you to input data directly to DB. This is the simple solution that fulfills the requirement by using a bot to enter data into any third-party application easily. It's not only about entering data but also the accuracy, speed, reducing human interaction, and more.

Although, think about the officer working at midnight, so what about a bot working 24/7 without having any salary, without using your resources -- that would save money for your company.

What is most valuable?

This product provides most of the good software APIs such as ABBYY that can easily integrate our solutions with processes.

What needs improvement?

  • Image recognition could be improved with more AI that identifies what objects are in the pictures, as example if we think about future about uipath, captcha reading , like if we given few images and find what are the picture that cantain with car
  • also If we scan any images , possibility of identifying this image contained pen, book,tea,cupboard, cake ....like that
  • Also, speeding bots may be good for some companies because some processes don't need to be viewed while executing, so if the bot can run faster than we see, it might be helpful.means that generally bot can run with their default speed and the application speed that its interact with, if the application support any speed eg(typing speeds) uipath should perform or having facilities to speed up the bot that its processing

What is our primary use case?

  • Downloading of the daily movements on the websites of the banks and the entry of them all in the ERP.
  • Distribution of transfers to other departments for their control and management.

How has it helped my organization?

The work of downloading movements of more than 100 accounts of the banks took several hours of work daily, but now it has been reduced to a few minutes of an unattended robot that sends all emails with the movements of the accounts of all the banks classified and ordered to users before their workday begins. The increase in productivity is maximum.

What is most valuable?

The developments with UiPath have been valid for the websites of all the banks which we work with. This with other RPA solutions has not been possible.

What needs improvement?

  • Financial.
  • It should be improved in such a way that the objects used in the designs should not be updated with the installation of new versions of UiPath as it happens right now.

For how long have I used the solution?

It's easy to use and easy to pick up due to the low code functionality

What is our primary use case?

Creating proof of concepts for Oracle product integrations and form filling for clients. We are also in the works of using it to automate expenses in-house.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath has helped us link legacy Oracle systems that have little connectivity through other integration methods. We are on our way to being able to link UiPath with machine learning and artificial intelligence to automate expenses.

What is most valuable?

The ease of use and how easy it is to pick up due to the low code functionality. The Orchestrator is also invaluable.

What needs improvement?

Making variables easier to find, perhaps integrating a "recommended variable" section for functions, and to filter variables better.

What is our primary use case?

  • Automation of a range of processes (35 at the time of writing).
  • Utilizing UiPath in a banking environment. 

Processes include areas such as payments, financial crimes, HR, and customer service (middle office).

How has it helped my organization?

  • Currently, 10 FTE of work has been moved to robots (nearly 10% of operations).
  • The staff has been retrained from operations into RPA development roles.
  • Improved consistency and cost-effectiveness of those processes.

What is most valuable?

Combination of the free academy and the graphical IDE with a large number of built-in activities. This creates a low bar to entry, allowing technically minded business users to get involved with the initiative.

What needs improvement?

UiPath is experiencing some growing pains in their support at the moment (some of this is due to the rapid progress of the tool, I suspect). From our timezone (GMT+10), support expertise has always been a bit of an inconvenience, with the best staff only coming online after our work hours.

The features of this tool are really awesome to use and very helpful to automate tasks

To automate the manual tasks at my workplace. Using this tool, we can quickly develop automations.  

How has it helped my organization?

At my workplace, I developed three automations which saved a lot of efforts and avoided manual interventions. We saved thousands of manual efforts.

What is most valuable?

  • Screen scraping
  • Data scraping
  • Web recording, etc. 

The features of this tool are really awesome to use and very helpful to automate tasks.

What needs improvement?

There are no cons I found in this tool. A free license would help everyone to learn about this tool.

We implement some robots in order to automate a lot of activities that require repetitive actions like manipulation of Excel files.

How has it helped my organization?

We deploy robots that help us to schedule activities during the day and to get only the output. In this way, we optimize our time.

What is most valuable?

The best feature is the ability to schedule the processes and automatize their execution.

What needs improvement?

  • The product could be improved in managing clients from Orchestrator.
  • I'd like to find in the next solution the managing of Studio license from the Orchestrator server.

The system is very good. The support works in a perfect way.

It's very easy to increment performance.

I would like UIPath to improve the OCR visuals. Also, I wonder if one day the automation tools will be able to make simple decisions by themselves.
