Microsoft Dynamics AX Valuable Features
Customers want all the business flow to be contained within the application. If they're using a lot of Excel and other documents, in addition to working with several other third-party applications, the problem is that these applications cannot integrate. That's a huge problem for business. It's possible to provide a solution to this by using an interconnected ERP solution with Dynamics. It is possible to interconnect to other products such as SAP, Oracle, and other global ERP types. Microsoft Dynamics AX makes this possible. Dynamics AX provides a lot of functionality. You have all your information to hand in one application. The application provides these values into the accounting application, and the accounting application executes the rest of the workflow. It's completely integrated. This is a huge and flexible design for customers.

Director, Managed Services at a tech services company with 51-200 employees
I have not really found very much that is valuable, at least in the version of the product that we are using. I do not think it is really suitable for the work that we do anymore. The reason for that is that we have changed our business model over the past few years. It was okay when we delivered hardware and we had to do maintenance on the hardware. But now that we have a real service organization where we have to comply with SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with our customers, it does not fit the structure.
To manage the service levels, we have to meet the agreements. For example, we have to resolve priority one incidents within four hours and we have to resolve priority two incidents within eight hours. I find that the Microsoft Dynamics product is not suitable for that. We had to make a lot of adjustments and tweaks in the software just to meet our goals. The reporting for our customers was a problem because there are no portal service level reports. We had to develop all of those solutions ourselves.
The most valuable feature I've found is the UI functionality, user interface functionality. It's great.

The workflow is the most valuable aspect of the solution.
AX provides the capability to easily automate business processes through customizable and template-based workflows within each module. Individuals in different roles are prompted to process workflow documents via their role center in AX or through email.
It is flexible and cost-effective.
Due to the constantly changing market, a flexible ERP solution would be a good choice. With Microsoft Dynamics AX, an organization gets access to a wide range of products under the solution that adds value. This makes it a cost-effective solution.

It depends on how you deploy it and how you implement it, however, from a feature point of view, Dynamics is easy to use and very user-friendly. It has the same UI and is very similar to any other Microsoft product. Features-wise the navigation bar that they have makes it easy for exporting everything to Excel.
Microsoft Dynamics is a great product. All Dynamic products are great.
It is stable, suitable for businesses, and covers all business needs.
It's very flexible and easy to use.

Manager IT at a retailer with 201-500 employees
I like that it's a complete ERP solution from production level to branch level. If you have a production department, they give you all the facilities for each item to make a product complete or complete a whole mission system. It's also helpful in completing incomplete information like articles. For example, receiving articles from the warehouse in our branches and online store. The software we're using isn't for the online store, but we are using it for production.

Senior Manager- Presales at a tech services company with 501-1,000 employees
It is easy to use, and it has a great UI. It has very well-structured modules. In terms of setup and configuration, they're logically placed, which makes it easy for any user to pick up information and learn more about the system, rather than just be plain key users of that business operating system.
It is scalable and customizable. Easy integration and availability of workspaces help in easily making it very role-oriented. They also make it easy for users to access and use it.
The fact that it is on the cloud makes it accessible from any device and at any given point in time, as long as you have a connection to the internet.
