I hope it includes barcode features, as barcode scanning and MacAdes cannot currently be mapped with this field. It requires some development to be better, more comfortable, and usable, enhancing customer satisfaction.

I would love to see a digital adoption feature or guide that navigates first-time users through the application, as it is quite complex with many relevant and irrelevant elements. An auto-translation capability for regional language preferences would also improve user experience.

So far, I'm not getting any requirement to improve. Everything required by end users seems to be available with ManageEngine IT Asset Management. There could be enhancements like QR code functionality or geolocation, but no customer has requested these features yet. View full review »

It would be helpful if there were a premium technician license that includes all the suites, eliminating the need to buy separate licenses for each feature.

Additionally, there should be more flexible reporting on asset management over the internet for remote users. The upgrade process is critical; if it fails, the entire server and database must be restored.

Responses from ManageEngine should be faster. We also need to explore automated asset lifecycle management and integration with AI for asset management. Including features that automatically update asset locations when employees move internationally would be beneficial.

The assets that can be discovered are pretty easy to manage, but there should be a better way to manage non-discoverable assets. Our development team works on bots and tests particular hardware. They have got different varieties of hardware. They want a feature for managing these assets within a warehouse kind of environment. For example, our IT has received 100 items, and they have assigned these items as a bulk unit to a project manager. The project manager further wants to distribute these items within his or her team. Instead of maintaining a separate Excel sheet, the project manager should be able to reallocate these items from within the tool so that we have hierarchical entities for the same unit.

Another example would be that I have got 100 SSD drives that need to be distributed among ten projects. I'm the project manager, and I have one asset with a quantity of 100. Instead of me creating 100 CIs, I should be able to aggregate these CIs and reallocate these CIs in portions to various projects. This is the feature that we are really looking forward to. Currently, we are having some challenges in managing assets. We are still managing them in Excel sheets and keeping a track of them outside the system.

We would like to see some improvements in the change management tool. It is tough to understand and modify and could be more user-friendly.
