What is our primary use case?

We use Zabbix for monitoring our assets in the infrastructure.

What is most valuable?

Zabbix has a lot of features, including monitoring, status updates, and collecting information telemetry from storages and servers as well. We use it for monitoring our assets in the infrastructure.

What needs improvement?

I think it's the best solution for monitoring. I don't know any better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have approximately eight years of experience working with Zabbix.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Zabbix is quite stable, and we haven't had any problems with Zabbix itself, but there have been small problems with the operating system on top of which it runs.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Zabbix has high scalability. I would rate it a nine out of ten.

How are customer service and support?

I can't answer this question because we didn't use support from Zabbix. We used our knowledge and what we found on the internet, as well as the knowledge of our integrator.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use a different solution before Zabbix.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup could be complex if you don't have templates. If creating templates from scratch, it's quite difficult, but if you are using already pre-created templates and setups for your needs, it looks very good.

What about the implementation team?

For the initial setup, we used an integrator, and after that, we tuned it and managed it by ourselves.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We didn't use the commercial version. We used the free version.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We went straight with Zabbix because it is the best solution on the market, it's very flexible, and it's reliable. We didn't try or replace it with another solution.

What other advice do I have?

Based on my experience, I would recommend Zabbix to other people for network and server monitoring. I would rate this solution eight out of ten. The free version means you will be responsible for integration. Sometimes it may be difficult to find information on configuring or maintaining the system, but if we had the commercial version, it would be very easy.
