We use the solution for routing and cloud security. We have multiple offices nationwide, all connected through the MPRS network, which is terminated at our FortiGate firewall. We consolidate our networks, filter packets, and segment our network through this firewall. My company has around three lakh firewalls. 

Having a built-in SOC solution like an XDR platform within the solution would be convenient for customers. 

I have been using the product since 2019. 

The solution is very stable. I rate it a ten out of ten. We weren't bothered even by a single incident for the past three years. 

I rate the product's scalability a ten out of ten. My company has 1000 users who use it daily. 

I haven't contacted technical support yet. 

The tool's deployment is easy and takes four to five hours to complete. The deployment process has become much simpler with implementing a playbook or checklist. Upon receiving a new device, thorough testing and configuration are conducted.

An integrator helped us with the tool's deployment. 

 Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is cheaper than VMware and Cisco in the Bangladeshi market. Its pricing is reasonable. 

We have a dedicated network team known as NCC. They periodically share network and firewall reports detailing how external threats are being blocked. We have not used any additional security solutions other than the product since 2019. Our workstations utilize Microsoft Defender at the desktop level, while network control is managed by the product at the firewall level.

The main reason we opted for the product is its ability to provide a unified solution across our global operations spanning over eighty countries. Its cost was not our primary concern. 

I rate it a ten out of ten. Due to our experience since 2019 without any incidents, Fortinet FortiGate Cloud proves to be cost-effective and easy to configure, making it a favorable product for all users. It comes with AI analytics features that use predictive analysis to analyze the network traffic. 

We use Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for Fortinet VPN channeling and site-to-site VPN. We also use it to block some traffic.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud has security features, like DDoS protection and UTM. Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is user-friendly. We can easily identify and use its features. So there won't be any difficulty in configuring, installing, or using it on a daily basis.

It would be much better if Fortinet FortiGate Cloud allowed third-party integrations like multi factor-authentication.

Better security features should be included in the next release.

I have been using Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for two to three years.

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud an eight out of ten for scalability. Our organization provides FinTech services, and we use the solution daily.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is very easy to set up. The initial setup for Fortinet FortiGate Cloud takes around 10 to 15 minutes. I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a nine out of ten for its initial setup.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is moderately priced. I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a five out of ten for pricing.

The solution is primarily used for firewalls, border protection, and network gateway protection.

It's a UTM solution. It covers layer four to layer seven in terms of firewall functionality. It doesn't only cover the network. It also covers application cases. 

It also has an IPS module. It has an anti-malware module. Usually, customers can extend the license, and they can have Fortinet agents which will help them enforce the policies also when they are outside the network. 

It's a comprehensive solution compared to other solutions.

The initial setup is relatively easy.

Maybe the upgrades could be a little bit easier, especially when customers don't upgrade in a long time. When there is a gap like that, you have to follow a strict path of upgrading, which does not always run smoothly. 

In the email security modules they have in their UTM, maybe they can include more extended or expanded features for the email security where users can have their own portal login to release blocked emails, as an example. Currently, the UTM will only have basic email security.

We've used the solution for seven years, as a partner, as a reseller, not as an end user.

The solution is stable. It's reliable, and the performance is good. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. 

It's scalable up to a limit. You have to do sizing correctly. If the sizing is correct, then there are no issues; however, if not, then in some cases, you need to replace all the hardware in order to scale to the next level.

Some environments have only 20 users, and other environments where there are 5,000 users. The number of users varies from client to client.

We have had interaction with technical support.

They're good if you have the correct support package. They have two support packages. They have eight by five and they have 24 by seven. As long as you have the right support package, then you'll find the support process very easy and helpful. Otherwise, you have to match your time with their time and sometimes they will not go the extra mile if the package or the service you bought is limited.

The solution is very easy to implement. It's not complex at all. 

The implementation strategy usually depends on the customer. It varies from customer to customer, depending on the requirements. That said, usually, it shouldn't take more than a couple of days.

Usually, first, we have to collect feedback or collect requirements from customers in terms of the different networks that they have, the policies, the allowed protocols, the disallowed protocols, the allowed content, the blocked content, et cetera. We will get, from the customer, a unique account for Active Directory, which is required for the user's onboarding. After we do the physical implementation, we start by implementing the policy and building out the policies. First, we will test them out during off-business hours. Then, if everything is working as expected, we move it to production, and customers can start using it.

One person is all you need to handle deployment and maintenance. 

Our clients have seen an ROI from using this solution. 

It's moderately priced. It's in the middle of the market. It was not very expensive. However, it is also not the cheapest option.

There are extra costs if you need extended things added to the license. For example, if you need some cloud logging or premium support, for example. All these come at an extra charge.

We are the partner for Fortinet, and we sell their products. 

We are not using it for our own network.

We tend to deal with the latest version of the solution. 

In most cases, we deploy on-prem. We have one or two cases only in the cloud. However, most cases are on-prem.

My advice would be mainly to first have proper data gathering from customers before implementing. As part of the data gathering, a company needs to include some facts regarding the utilization network and the sizing. You need to get sizing correct from the outset and should plan to have room for an extra 30% increase in the future.

I would rate the solution nine out of ten. 

SD-WAN tunneling is the primary function of Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. It is also used for filtering or browsing, as well as application filtering and blocking of all unwanted applications, viruses, and malware, which is the main goal.

The SD-WAN tunneling is the most valuable. Everything is valuable, especially the SD-WAN tunneling, filtering of email, application, and browsing. Everything has value.

This Fortinet equipment meets our requirements. They offer what we wanted.

The most recent version of others is not yet complete. For the time being, we are content because it is a significant help to us. Durability is something that can be improved.

It is currently durable, but they may be able to improve it further. They can adapt Cisco technology because of its durability.

I have been using Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for seven years.

We are working with versions 100D and 60E.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is reliable. It's been seven years, and everything has been good.

Fortinet FortiGate Cloud is a scalable solution.

It is being used extensively. It is running 24/7.

We intend to implement and upgrade another model in order to meet a new requirement.

Technical support is very helpful. Support is not a problem because Fortinet is user-friendly to manage, even my technical team can handle it.

On our end, setting up Fortinet FortiGate was easy. It was not complex.

You can deploy the firewall in an hour without difficult requirements. You can set up the firewall in an hour. It's plug-and-play, ready to use.

We collaborated with a vendor in the first deployment, but we handled the subsequent deployment ourselves. Even though we dealt with the first deployment, we contracted for support just in case, but for the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth deployments we did not require vendors.

The cost of equipment and its renewal is valuable. Unlike other firewalls, the cost of Fortinet FortiGate is low, and the functionality is nearly identical, which is why we chose it.

Then there's the cost, which we compared to Palo Alto, Cisco equipment, and others, and we were impressed with the cost, the cost of the renewal, and the cost of the equipment.

The solution is cloud-based. Trend Micro Incorporated is the service provider.

If you are looking for a low-cost security appliance with web filtering, application filtering, and SD-WAN tunneling, I would recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud. It's not expensive, and it meets the most basic requirements.

Our primary use case revolves around network security management.

The improvements in pricing could make the product more accessible to a broader range of clients. Additionally, enhancing threat intelligence capabilities could further elevate its effectiveness.

We've been utilizing FortiGate Cloud for a couple of years now.

Our experience suggests that FortiGate Cloud scales effectively, accommodating around 20 to 24 clients seamlessly.

In addition to FortiGate Cloud, we leverage other solutions like Palo Alto, Zoho, and Sophos, tailoring our choices to fit each client's specific needs and budget constraints.

The initial setup process for vCenter is generally straightforward for our team. This ease is primarily attributed to our meticulous planning before deployment. It takes a few hours to complete depending upon specific requirements. Following deployment, we handle maintenance and troubleshooting as required. 

While pricing could be more competitive, it ultimately depends on the client's budget and specific feature requirements. It's essential to conduct a thorough evaluation to determine the best fit.

Fortinet's documentation and support are commendable, providing valuable assistance whenever challenges arise, and ensuring seamless operations.

The impact of its threat intelligence capabilities varies based on client needs and the nature of the data involved. To augment security, we sometimes integrate it with solutions like HCI.

I rate it an eight out of ten. 

We use Fortinet FortiGate Cloud for secure network management in our company. In general, the solution is used for network security.

I like Fortinet FortiGate Cloud's simple UX and UI designs and the fact that it is also a VPN solution for our clients. The solution is user-friendly.

In our company, we have had some problems with the solution's ACL since it has some rules that don't work correctly. We have grouped some objects under one class, and we use it in ACL, but it still doesn't work correctly.

ACL is an area with shortcomings that needs to be improved.

We had opened some tickets in the support platform of Fortinet FortiGate. The support personnel answered our questions maybe just once.

The installation and configuration of the solution is easy.

The solution is deployed on a private cloud.

The deployment process takes one or two hours.

Regarding the steps for deployment, we created an interface and then attached an IP to the interface. Then we created some ACL rules to connect the endpoints to the internet and created a VPN solution. We used the features of VPN in Fortinet FortiGate Cloud.

We need two or three people for deployment and maintenance.

On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a one or two. The pricing is suitable for our company.

I recommend Fortinet FortiGate Cloud because it requires a simple and easy installation. The solution is suitable for small and medium-sized organizations for network security. The solution's VPN features are very easy to configure. with Cisco and other Fortinet products. I suggest others use Fortinet FortiGate Cloud.

Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

We use FortiGate Cloud to protect from ransomware, malware, and viruses. We also use it for identity management and controlling bandwidth allocation to solutions. 

FortiGate Cloud boosts productivity and security because one solution covers all the requirements, features, and management functions. Staff can operate it with less security knowledge, so it decreases the workload of security specialists. Anyone with training on the console can manage access to users and devices based on standardized structural services. 

FortiGate can efficiently manage firewall functionality because it is flexible enough to use with customers who have different types of IT infrastructure and businesses. For example, we have purely production-oriented companies, but some mix production, management, logistics, etc.

It reduces complexity and gives valuable control over any communication paths.

FortiGate helps us reduce operational workloads and standardize security management processes. It streamlines everything, which is helpful for management. 

It provides you visibility into distributed sites. For example, some massive customers have multiple businesses with different requirements. The Fortinet infrastructure is also excellent for integrating on-premise and cloud environments. 

It works for any type of customer. 

Fortinet should simplify the licensing model. It's too complex for decision-makers to choose from the range of options. Handling the pricing models is a nightmare, so it's difficult to sell the solution. 

I have used FortiGate Cloud for eighteen months.

I rate FortiGate Cloud 10 out of 10 for stability. 

I rate FortiGate Cloud 10 out of 10 for scalability. 

Setting up FortiGate Cloud is straightforward and simple if you have experience withcloud environments. The time needed to deploy varies depending on the size of the customer or project, and it takes some preparation. 

FortiGate Cloud is affordable for large enterprises, and smaller companies to e.g. in fields like health care and education. The pricing is transparent once you select the licensing model you want to use, but picking a plan is the issue. 

If your organization is dynamic, you need scalable licensing based on your needs, where you can pay based on usage. Many of the smaller customers require more flexibility. Fortinet could have a more significant market share if its licensing were more flexible. 

I rate Fortinet FortiGate Cloud a nine out of ten. 

I recommend using a trusted infrastructure provider. We recommend United Internet/IONOS in Germany, but other major operators, such as AWS, Azure, etc. It's a cloud security product, so you need a good available infrastructure. Other implementation options are available.

Our company uses the solution for site-to-site VPN tunnels. 

We have more than 6,000 users and four administrators who monitor the solution. 

The solution includes a very stable VPN and IPS. 

The solution's documentation is good. 

The solution should include a commit button that allows for review of changes and deployments before they are submitted. Any actions are immediately reflected but it would be better if a review-before-commit option existed like with Palo Alto. 

The solution could enhance its firewall reporting without the need for a sister product such as Analyzer. 

I have been using the solution for four years.

The solution is scalable and we intend to expand its use. 

Technical support is very professional and helpful. 

The initial setup is not complex. 

A configuration takes about 30 minutes to restore and deploy.  

Our company utilized the assistance of certified engineers provided by a reseller for implementation. 

The solution requires an annual license but the cost is reasonable in comparison to competitors in the same category. 

Our company has not yet explored other options, but plans to do so in the future.
