Avanan is the integrated email suite we use for our company offices in the US and Mexico. It's also integrated with our other office apps. 

I like Avanan's SmartDLP module. It's seamless, and the administrative overhead is low. We aren't a very sophisticated operation. We just want to reduce our exposure, so we find ThreatCloud helpful. Avanan's acquisition by Check Point was beneficial for them. 

We have used Avanan for more than a year.

We haven't had any issues.

I can add as many people as I want. It just becomes a cost issue at a certain point.

We had one issue. You click on an icon inside the app to open a ticket. Avanan support got right on it. 

Setting up Avanan is straightforward. I only needed to download the connector extension from the Google store. It wasn't complicated at all. 

We pay a little over $3,000 a year for our implementation. 

I rate Avanan 10 out of 10 overall. We've got a lot of garbage mail and phishing. Avanan provides some additional protection over and above whatever Google does.

We required a security tool for our email environments. We used Microsoft Office 365, a security solution for both email and collaborative tools, all in a centralized environment to facilitate the administration of the company's security tools.

We needed to protect ourselves against threats such as phishing and malware, among others.

We also needed a tool that provides DLP protection to avoid problems of theft of sensitive company information.

Our environment uses SharePoint and OneDrive, and we had plans to provide security in them.

Check Point Avanan provided us with all the required protection in a single tool for our Microsoft office 365 environment and the tools that we use (SharePoint and OneDrive). It helped us to improve automated protection and prevented the loss of sensitive information in a simple way. In addition, it's providing anti-malware and anti-phishing protection.

This technology is one of Check Point's acquisitions, and it is currently a powerful tool that provides all the protection that is not found in other tools.

Check Point Avanan is available through a centralized portal which provides us with security from known and unknown threats, being a very good feature.

The protection against phishing in your web and desktop applications has been great.

There's quick deployment of the solution. It's done in a simple way, which is a great feature.

The protection of collaborative tools is an incredible plus since not many solutions provide this protection, and none are as advanced.

They need to provide more documentation to be able to implement custom features or validate more advanced functions. It is very difficult to find the required documentation.

As for technical support, we have doubts if Check Point provides it or if it should be a separate solution since its portal is separate from Check Point solutions. We would also like it to be included in the security solutions found in the Infinity Portal so we can centralize environments successfully.

Check Point's Avanan security solution is a great tool to complement the security of our mail and collaborative tools. We have tested it over this current year.

It's a very good solution, and quite stable.

Check Point manages the cloud solution, its scalability is very good.

Previously we used Microsoft security tools. However, we required a solution with more security muscle, and we opted for Check Point Avanan.

The costs are only available with a Check Point partner. I'd recommend finding someone that is quite specialized.

The UX can be upgraded to increase performance, speed, and efficiency. We have achieved most objectives that pushed the entire organization to get this platform. Avanan is good, and I love the overall performance.

The cost is higher for SMEs, however, the pricing and billing criteria can be lessened to accommodate more willing customers.

It is very easy to implement and a very simple to use for non-technical end users too. This also comes with advance screening. Overall, compared to features, the cost is very reasonable and output of this tool is very good.

They need a little bit of improvement in AI logic, as sometimes, it quarantines frequent mailers as spam/suspects. This should be improved in the next update.

It should also decrease the time in detailed scanning. That said, it is not a big problem.

It should also offer a quick backup in case any email is wrongly quarantined or deleted to ensure no data loss.

It should give us more detailed analytics about threats identified, quarantined, and deleted and a report can be maintained for future screening and reviewing.
