I use the solution to meet the requirements of our customers.

EDR is one of the most valuable features of the solution.

The solution needs to have SDR in it. So, SDR is an area where the solution needs to work and improve itself.

Since I am not working extensively with this solution, I am not in a position to comment on what other additional features need to be added to it.

I have been using Trend Micro Apex One for five years. Also, I am using a SaaS version of the solution. My company has a partnership with Trend Micro Apex One.

Stability-wise, it is a good product, and I rate it a ten out of ten.

It is a scalable solution. The solution works, in the same manner, irrespective of the number of users using it. One of our customers has 25000 users using the solution. Scalability-wise, I rate it a ten out of ten.

Overall, I rate the solution a ten out ten.

It's quite a good solution for protecting the endpoint.

All the features are quite good. Many features that this solution has, competitors lack. The feature I think is quite good is data loss prevention.

I think that this product needs to improve the data loss prevention port.

I have been using this solution for one year.

We are using the SaaS version, but there's on-prem available as well.

Overall, I would rate this solution a nine, on a scale from one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best.

The product is used for security and protection so that we can protect our users. 

I like the enhanced security. It offers very good advanced technology. 

The setup is simple.

It's easy to scale the licensing as needed. 

The solution is stable. 

Technical support has been helpful. 

The solution has some offline issues sometimes. Sometimes it will not communicate with the server, and we need to manually restart items. 

When Microsoft updates, we need to ensure Trend Micro also updates. Sometimes they are out of sync. 

I've been using the solution for only one project. 

It is a stable solution. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. Apart from issues we've had where it suddenly doesn't communicate with the server, it's been fine. 

The solution is scalable. You can increase usage if you like. You just need to purchase a bit more in order to expand. 

Technical support is fine. The response usually happens within one or two days. 

The initial setup of the product is okay. We can do a few configurations and the implementation is pretty simple. We can manage it easily. It's easy to understand. 

The deployment took five to ten minutes. It does not take too long to set up. 

I was able to handle the setup myself. The deployment isn't too bad. 

The solution offers an annual subscription. 

I'm using the latest version of the solution. It's on the cloud and, therefore, always the latest. 

I'd recommend the solution to others who would like to try the solution. It offers good customer-facing protection. We've had customers that have avoided items like ransomware and malicious attacks.

I would rate the solution nine out of ten overall. We've been pleased with its security capabilities. 

I have multiple enterprise customers in India, and I am working with multiple regions, like Asia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Many customers are using this endpoint solution. It is widely used by customers.

Apex One has multiple features and use cases including internet protection, web reputation, URL filtering, firewalls, and anti-malware functioning. There's virtual patching and it can help us to prevent exploitation attacks. They can help you to patch vulnerabilities on the machines.

The solution has helped our organization by protecting our endpoints from malware and web threats. It also helps us to block ports and provides features like IPS. IPS has multiple signatures and rules which can help us to patch vulnerabilities. 

It is available on our OS platform and will automatically scan our machines daily or weekly. It also provides an EDR option. With EDR, we have DLP and application control as well, so we have lots of features that we can use to protect our endpoints from ransomware and phishing attacks.

The solution is good for patch management and protecting against vulnerabilities. It's great for protecting endpoints. 

It is easy to set up the solution.

Technical support is helpful.

It's quite stable and reliable.

We can scale the product.

There are some limitations, including around URL filtering. Sometimes HTTPS sites are not blocked properly. The proper display of the page is not properly working. We're putting in a feature request and hopefully, it will be resolved next quarter.

Feature-wise, pretty much all features we need are present. 

I've been using the solution for more than two years. 

The solution is stable and reliable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.

I'd rate the stability eight out of ten.

The solution is scalable. We can expand our licensing or hardware if we need to grow.

I'd rate the scalability ten out of ten.

We can raise a ticket with support and usually get a response within eight hours. There's a bit of a time difference. They are good. We find them helpful and responsive. 

Positive

The initial setup is very, very straightforward. It is available under two offerings. One is on-premise, where we have to install the server and database. The other is the cloud. In the cloud, we have to just create our account, and we can just start using it.

The cloud option is very easy, and there is no need to maintain the server and no need to install anything. It will just create an account, and we can start using it within ten minutes. At the same time, the on-premise will take two or three of us to deploy it. We have to create three servers and then database services, and we have to install the application over that. It will take some time. Both are straightforward. They have created a guide for installation. If we follow the guide properly, we can get it installed properly.

There isn't a lot of maintenance needed for the cloud solution. If we choose an on-prem deployment, we will have to maintain the server and database. We also have patching from time to time, which we also have to test. On the cloud, the backend team handles any necessary maintenance.

We're partners. 

I'm working with the latest version of the solution. 

I'd recommend cloud deployment as it is so fast to set up and easier to maintain.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

We are using Trend Micro Apex One for endpoint protection. We have this centralized server with the console and the agents on the client's system.

We don't use application control but instead, we use behavior monitoring, which is a good feature. The real-time scanning, data loss prevention, and endpoint sensor we use are beneficial 

The integration is lacking in Trend Micro Apex One. It does not integrate well with Microsoft p solutions. For example, with Office 365, we have to buy another solution for mail protection. That's why we are assessing Microsoft Defender 365 because we have an email from Microsoft, an endpoint from Microsoft, and we use Windows systems.

I have been using Trend Micro Apex One for approximately two years.

We had some stability issues where we needed to patch the solution. However, it has come stable.

Trend Micro Apex One is scalable.

We have approximately 300 clients using the solution.

I have not used the support from Trend Micro Apex One.

The initial setup of Trend Micro Apex One is simple and easy to manage. The platform is easy to understand.

The implementation took less than one month.

The steps we took for the implementation of the solution were the installation of the server, the deployments from the clients, the agents in clients, and the configuration of the too,l such as rules.

We did the implementation of the solution in-house.

We have the smallest package of Trend Micro Apex One. The full package is expensive, and it was more expensive than we thought.

The maintenance of the solution is not difficult.

We are looking into using Microsoft solutions instead of Trend Micro Apex One.

I would recommend this solution to others.

I rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.

Trend Micro Apex One is very helpful, for our customers.

Trend Micro Apex One provides our clients with threat detection and response. It offers protection against threats.

Trend Micro Apex One provides our customers with the best endpoint security.

It has the ability to share, which is not available in other products.

The DLP feature is beneficial to handle devices and other important files that cannot be accessed, sent, or shared. 

This solution should be more secure, in my opinion.

The security features need improvement.

We have been providing Trend Micro Apex One for a few years.

There are no issues with the stability of Trend Micro Apex One.

Trend Micro Apex One is a scalable product.

This solution has been provided to 13 or 14 clients.

Technical support is customer friendly.

We offer Trend Micro Endpoint, Apex Central, XCR, EDI, EPP, and their deep security.

We provide endpoint security for the extra server.

We have provided many solutions from Trend Micro.

The initial setup is straightforward.

This solution requires a license. It's an annual subscription.

I would recommend this solution who are interested in endpoint security.

I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a ten out of ten.

We're using Trend Micro Apex One for protection against threats.

The security Trend Micro Apex One provides is okay.

The device, e.g. laptop, becomes slow after installing Trend Micro Apex One, so this is an area for improvement. The security it provides is okay, but it causes slow performance after installation. Personally, I don't like this software, because I can install and use other solutions that won't affect the performance of my laptop, though Trend Micro Apex One has many uses.

My company has been using Trend Micro Apex One for more than one year.

Trend Micro Apex One is a stable software.

Installation of this software was quick. It took just 10 to 20 minutes to complete the installation.

I'm an infrastructure consultant, not part of the security team. My company is a system integrator in Thailand. We have many, many silos, e.g. we have the security, data, network, and development teams. My role is under the network team.

I wouldn't recommend Trend Micro Apex One to other users who want to start using it.

My company pays for the license of this software, but I don't know if it's a monthly or a yearly subscription.

My rating for Trend Micro Apex One is a five out of ten.

We use Trend Micro Apex One to block threats that do not contain files. This is done by utilizing machine learning techniques to understand if there is any abnormal behaviors or execution of any processes being done on the machines.

We have been able to develop policies created to monitor abnormal behaviors in addition to application control level policies that only allow specific applications to execute - the rest are blocked. 

The EDR capability of Trend Micro has helped us in investigating the root cause for any threat that is hunting by providing us with good visibility of the timeline and activity of the threat.

Additionally, Trend Micro can be rolled out with some script which no longer requires us to rely on third party tools.

I would like to see a sandboxing feature in the next release - which is currently something being supported by a third party - in addition to EDR capability on the cloud applications.

I have been using this solution for more than a year now.

So far from a performance standpoint, we haven't faced any issues. We feel it's a stable product and it is not that resource-intensive either.

It is scalable and you do not need to purchase additional hardware to do so.

The support is really good in the Middle East, they are even available on the weekends to address issues.

We used McAfee in the past, we switched due to the modern techniques that are offered by Trend Micro. Trend Micro also offers excellent features and a great machine learning technique.

The initial setup was very straightforward as we were clear on our scope and what we wanted to achieve with the solution. We had 700 work stations and about 250 servers and the overall deployment too two months.

We used a combination of a vendor and an in-house team.
