Pega BPM Valuable Features
It's low code. That is very useful. A business value architect will have zero coding to do, and he can create a business flow on top of that. The technical developer can handle further things.
Apart from that, the kind of APIs that they support is also very nice. It also has a lot of APIs out of the box. It can directly connect to Fitbit, it can directly connect to Google Maps, et cetera. That API exposure is also a good thing. They are very easy and very reliable to use, the APIs.
The setup was simple.
It's a stable solution.
The solution has very helpful technical support.
It can scale pretty well.

People are also very happy with the robotic process automation and the dashboards. They are very good.

The most valuable feature of Pega BPM is step-by-step voice guidance that converts your problem statement into different diagrams and then implements the process.
Pega BPM is a technology, not merely a tool, so it has different industry frameworks. It's customized for various industries, such as financial, insurance, healthcare, etc.
Other valuable features of Pega BPM include AI, decisioning, and robotics. It also has a more intuitive UI. Clients weren't as happy with the UI in the past, but that has now improved.
I also like that Pega BPM has a UI that can be integrated with JavaScript-based, such as React or Vue.

The solution offers many use cases.
The case management is great.
Pega provides a lot of advanced smart shapes wherein you can just create a case for using the smart case itself. You can integrate or maybe add any integration points you need there.
A lot of Pega is out-of-the-box. You can use it as is or configure it in just one click.
The most valuable feature of Pega BPMI would be the academy courses, specifically the Product Development Network (PDN). Additionally, our organization has a dedicated Customer Engagement Team that we work closely with to achieve our goals.
View full review »The most important features of Pega BPM are case management and claims management, and soon they'll also be offering claims processing.
I also love Pega BPM in terms of performance. It's also one of the very few user-friendly solutions in the market. It may take some time to learn Pega BPM, but once you get a proper handle on it, tracking and managing processes become very easy anytime, anywhere.
Pega BPM also has very good documentation you can use to learn the solution. Pega has a community portal that has complete information and explanations, and if you're facing a challenge, you can post your challenge on the community portal and get a resolution at the same time.

The solution's case management is its most valuable aspect.
It's basically an open architecture based software, which means the main aim of the software is to provide a low-code application development environment. It has several authoring tools on the UI flow and makes sure that you can put in a lot of gadgets and create the screen very quickly using those gadgets.
Right now, it has a pretty good feature set. It has case management and BPM workflow as well as robotic automation. It has decisioning. It has chat and virtual assistant support, and we just implement it on the cloud, therefore it's a pretty robust feature set.

The initial setup is pretty straightforward.
The documentation and training available are great.
Pega is coming out with Pega Express, which is kind of a low-code development platform. The business rules can be built in a Pega Express Portal, which is more specifically built for business users and not technical users. That way, even non-technical people are able to build their own business processes easily.

When we were implementing in 2012, we also used Pega phones. It was a complete front office to back office interaction that was created, followed by case management. But I'm not sure, if you say case management as a feature, there's also knowledge management, which is present, but case management is what I've used extensively.
Overall, the ability to integrate with multiple applications and effective case management is the most valuable.

Case Management, as well as Workflow Automation, are Pega's most powerful capabilities.
By creating a visual layout of the business process, designers can easily go and implement the business process. And from there, you can pretty much do it in concur. You can concentrate on each area of the business process and create user input tasks with defined role-based access controls on each of those user input tasks.

The most valuable feature is the situational layer cake. It's a feature of the tool that allows us to specialize a process according to different countries, products, or other dimensions. This means that we can create complex processes that are differentiated according to geography, product, or other characteristics. The result is that it makes it much easier for us to maintain the solution.
In terms of functionality, Pega is probably the number one solution in this field.

In terms of features that I have found most valuable, there are lots of new things in Appian BPM, maybe six in this newer version. Earlier, what we needed to do if we wanted to deploy some code into the other environment was to upload it into the environment, take a patch from the other environment, patch it, and import it. Nowadays it is easier. There is a new feature in the Admin Console where I just need to click on that environment, pick a patch, and just select the environment. Then I see whether it is queuing in the scheduled environment or going for production. I select the environment and I can directly deploy that patch. This is a very good feature of the current version.
There is a very well implemented UI side - the front-end visibility. There is a new progress bar that allows you to see your progress. There is a very impressive UI design that they've embedded into the BPM tool.

Pega is currently number one in BPM and case management solutions, according to Gartner and Forrester. I like that it’s mostly a no-code platform. It’s also more of an enterprise-level solution. It looks like a front end stack. There are dozens of applications that are just moored to each other. However, Pega feels like one solution.
