Currently, one of the things that we are facing is that most of the people using the services of the laptop are people doing coding and programming. We are pursuing technologies with the capacity so that data scientists or architects cannot have any problems using the laptops.

The features I have found to be most valuable about the Latitude include that one of the main benefits is that until now, I have not had any failures. The most failures that we had occurred when we install our software and we have to update some version of our software.

Something that I like so much is the capacity when we choose the different sizes of the screens. This is something that we also realize. An important aspect is that if we want to increase memory, especially on the RAMs, we have not had any issues or trouble in that aspect.

Definitely, that is something that we need to keep using and I want to explore more products about Dell Business Laptops.

Dell Business Laptops could be improved in that they are quite heavy in some cases, especially when most of the people using them prefer larger screen sizes, particularly those doing coding. However, they are heavy compared to other suppliers.

In a certain manner, if in our company we are facing latency and troubles with the hardware or CPU, the possibility to scale to more memory or more gigabytes would be beneficial.

Something that we realize, especially when using deep learning models, is that we train directly in the cloud with GPUs. I think something that could improve Dell Business Laptops is the ability to scale from CPU or GPU or combine both.

Many of the laptops that they are selling are primarily using CPUs, of course, with some GPUs. In some cases, when using GPUs, we select a different supplier. For instance, some customers want to use any resource to train our models, but with a very good outcome. So in some cases, we have partnered with suppliers that are using GPUs like Nvidia.

I apologize for mentioning the names of the companies. Some partners want to use also Apple products and Taiwan Semiconductors. However, I do not see this kind of offer from Dell Business Laptops. I know that probably the companies have partnerships directly with these vendors. But definitely, if Dell Business Laptops can use this flexibility, combining GPUs and CPUs and incorporating different suppliers, that would be a very good outcome.

My current organization has been using Dell Business Laptops for two years, and since I have been with them, mostly all employees have a Dell Business Laptops unit at least. I do not know since when they started using this, but at least since I have been with them, we are using Dell Business Laptops.

The specific challenge or need we were trying to address when we chose Dell Business Laptops is memory capacity because in some cases we store a lot of information still in our laptops. Fortunately, there is a lot of information that comes up daily. We are using telemetry data. We cannot store everything in the laptop, but what we do is process our information in the software that is already installed in Dell Business Laptops, allowing us to process without having problems or latency, especially in our models. This is the main issue.

When I do coding, I use Linux as well. With Dell Business Laptops, when you have Windows, you can switch to Linux using WSL. However, in certain cases, when I did the direct switch using Linux in a Windows software, I faced some issues. I mostly encountered pain points when passing the information; it is somewhat slow in some cases when we have a lot of gigabytes and terabytes of information passing. I know that it is probably not a best practice, but it can be really slow compared to using another supplier.

I have used customer support with Dell Business Laptops mostly online and in English. I do not know if in Mexico they have this customer service. However, the main reason I reached out was when we had a couple of cases when the system BIOS was really unusual and I think that it was a defect coming directly from the company, from the shipment or company. The support of Dell Business Laptops helped us in order to modify this.

What made me choose Dell Business Laptops over the other brands I might have been considering is my past experience with other suppliers, which has not been a good experience. Until now, I think that Dell Business Laptops is a good product.

However, they are using mostly preinstalled software, and most of the people that we are using still work with Windows. I think they have a very good opportunity to improve or to have laptops for specific profiles that are using coding.

More of the people are honestly using another supplier that does not use Windows; they are using Linux, which is the reason that they are using Mac. However, other people prefer Dell Business Laptops because when they switch to Windows and if they are using Mac, they do not like it. We have, in a manner of speaking, two divisions: people using Mac and people using Windows, mostly with Dell Business Laptops.

I pass regarding measurable outcomes since deploying Dell Business Laptops, such as cost savings, productivity improvements, or user satisfaction scores, because I am in the analytical area, so I do not know about the cost or something similar.

If I were recommending Dell Business Laptops to a peer, I would say that you have the guarantee of very good customer service support. You have the guarantee of a company that is overall global and not just having presence in some countries. It is a public company that can support you not just with these kinds of devices, but also in other suites. I will rate Dell Business Laptops overall an eight on a scale of one to ten, with one being worst and ten being best.

My main use case is to look after consulting and business development, so essentially presentation and using artificial intelligence wherever possible.

The most valuable feature of Dell Business Laptops for me is that they are very fast. The processing time is faster, so when we use AI models on it, I have never seen too much lag on the laptop. Dell Business Laptops can be improved by being cheaper. I suggest making them cheaper. When buying in bulk, we do not get too much of a discount, and that is how the business is built. Dell sells its product that way.

I have been using Dell Business Laptops for a very long time now.

I have not used customer support extensively, but I remember once they did help us. I had an old laptop which required some accessories. They could not provide me with it because they ran out of stock due to versioning, so for older versions, they probably do not provide accessories. I would not rate customer service as bad; I think it is pretty acceptable.

A very long time ago, I used a Toshiba, which has gone out of business now. When I started my company, I was looking for a cheaper option, so Toshiba was perhaps the cheapest at the time. I am also ex-Dell, so I am somewhat loyal to Dell.

I am sure there is a return on investment with the laptops. I have never calculated ROI, and I also do not know how to calculate ROI for a product like Dell Business Laptops. Processing time is certainly saving our tech people time. Our tech people actively use what is XPS for the desktops, and I am sure they have never complained to me, so I am sure they are happy. If you consider no complaints to be an ROI, then it is.

I am sure I looked at other options besides Toshiba and Dell. I cannot remember. I am sure I could have looked at IBM or Lenovo or any other product, but I cannot remember now. This was many years ago.

My top priorities when selecting laptops for my organization are reliability, brand name, price, and after-sales service. I think the price of Dell Business Laptops is quite acceptable. If you are not going into a gaming laptop, I think it is pretty acceptable for using. We do not use gaming laptops because we do not need them. I would rate the product a nine out of ten, with one being worst and ten being best. They could get to a ten by being cheaper. For security, we do have to use other products and other OEMs because we work with clients and we have to ensure that we access their environments as a pipe, so we do not actually depend on Dell Business Laptops security. We have to use other peripheral or endpoint security service providers. I love Dell and I like Dell products, and I have used Toshiba and Dell, which are the only two products I have used earlier.

Dell Business Laptops serve as my main device for corporate users who rely on these machines daily. A specific example of how our corporate users utilize Dell Business Laptops day-to-day includes managing emails and utilizing Google Workspace suites.

The feature that stands out the most for me in my day-to-day work is their ease of repair, as they are easy to take apart. I remember having to replace the Wi-Fi module in hundreds of Dell Business Laptops several years ago.

Dell Business Laptops positively impact my organization as they are generally seen as reliable hardware to use from an end-user perspective.

One area for improvement for Dell Business Laptops is having associated accessories that are more user-friendly. I find the accessories are sometimes too clunky, for example, their docking station hardware, which is functional from a business standpoint, but the power bricks are excessively large.

I consider the best features offered by Dell Business Laptops to be the hardware it has, since with it I can correctly perform my activities without experiencing any kind of delay due to any bad component. The camera and microphone included with the device are optimal for joining any meetings that may occur.

Regarding the hardware, all three components—the processor, hard drive, and RAM—are especially useful to me, allowing me to perform my tasks better.

The durability of these business machines is relevant since they can last many years and still be on par with newer models that are perhaps not as powerful.

Dell Business Laptops have positively impacted my organization in that we do not need to upgrade the equipment so often, since these business laptops last longer. In this way, it also allows us to reduce costs by not having to constantly buy laptops.

Creating a model that includes the numeric pad could improve Dell Business Laptops. I think one probably already exists, but this numeric pad is indeed necessary. An add-on could be created for laptops that don't include it.

The battery could be deactivated in some way from the operating system so it doesn't have to be constantly charging and discharging. For example, in my case, I use the laptop in a single place and I always have it connected to the charger because I don't use it elsewhere.

I have been working in the security division for UBS for the last nine years, and we have been using Dell Business Laptops quite regularly in our regular day-to-day activities.

As an example of a task where I relied on Dell Business Laptops, being in the security division, the laptop has been very secured. When we work in a very high-paced, driven activity in terms of identifying the vulnerabilities that might impact UBS as an organization, the laptop has been quite beneficial in ensuring they act based on the expected performance and maintaining a security environment for the organization, with our own internal cyber resilience capabilities.

The best features of Dell Business Laptops are its familiarity overall and the complete package.

The features of familiarity and complete package stand out for me because the Latitude series laptops for business have always been the mainstay laptop for our use cases. It is the right size, it has the right backlighting, and it provides ease of operation.

It is a good all-around familiar, easy-to-use laptop that anybody can use. Dell Business Laptops positively impact my organization by supporting everything we do. We are a digital team doing digital management for large customers, and Dell Business Laptops are an integral part of the day-to-day operation.

Since using Dell Business Laptops, I have noticed consistency in outcomes and improvements. Rated on a scale of one to ten, consistency and reliability would be a nine. The only drawback is that nobody informs us about what happens at the end of a term, whether it is three years, four years, or five years, when support ends.

There has to be a better way to inform the end user that the laptop has reached end-of-life, which can sometimes be very problematic and impactful.

I do not think anything else about Dell Business Laptops needs improvement other than end-of-life communication. It fills the use case. I do not have any more concerns about needed improvements. I see you as the technologists who look at improvements, whether that is from a physical perspective, an operating system perspective, or a bundling perspective. I am a superuser, and the laptop does everything I need it to do.

My main use case for Dell Business Laptops is for development, testing, and performance as my firm is migrating to Windows 11, so I am conducting testing on this platform.

I use the laptops for development and testing mainly for application compatibility testing and performance. I have to matrix the performance. Additionally, I test integration with items such as Dell hub monitors, so I need to use this laptop to connect to the Dell monitor. At the same time, it connects to our thin client.

For my main use cases, I do not have a specific project to add, but we are testing the Windows 11 image to ensure it is compatible, has no performance breaks, and works well. At this time, my focus is mainly on POC and testing.

In my experience, the best features Dell Business Laptops offer are the sleek look, the comprehensive features, and the overall experience. I feel the screen and the resolution are very sharp. Performance-wise, it is quite good overall. I am still in testing, so I cannot definitively identify the main differences at this moment, but the overall experience compared to previous generations is significantly faster and better. The sleek feel and experience are excellent.

Regarding how the new screen and speed have made a difference in my daily work and testing, I observe that rendering is much faster and I do not experience lagginess. Additionally, toggling between screens and performing tasks such as calculations or working in Excel is very responsive. The performance has been good. When I view a video, there is no lagginess, and it is very crisp and sharp.

Dell Business Laptops do not currently impact my organization as we primarily use VDI most of the time. However, we have cases that use laptops for building Windows 11 and business needs. I am certain it will impact my organization in determining whether it suits our needs. From my testing, I believe it will help, and I can propose to our procurement team that we can proceed with using this laptop for our future development and business use cases.

Based on my testing, the specific outcomes I am hoping to achieve for my team and organization by using Dell Business Laptops are centered on the features, travel-light capability, compatibility, and the laptop's performance, which benefits the business. We have existing laptops that are end of life, so we are moving forward. I believe we will use this next for the business case.

Currently, I do not believe there is much that can be improved on Dell Business Laptops from my perspective. However, I believe Dell is a great company that continues to develop more innovations for us.

I would like to note that so far there is no need for improvement; you have been doing excellent work. I do not believe there is much room for improvement, but in the future, I think adding more powerful NPUs, increased RAM, and a more powerful CPU in the next generation would be beneficial.

I have been using Dell Business Laptops recently, having received the device approximately half a year ago.

Dell Business Laptops are deployed in my organization on-premise, as our AI infrastructure is both on-premise and cloud-based.

I would rate Dell Business Laptops a nine out of ten. I chose nine out of ten because my model is not the top-end model. I would say for a business laptop at the higher performance level, I chose the medium range. A nine is the appropriate rating. However, if I were to get the high-performance model, I would rate it ten out of ten.

For our private cloud deployment, we use GitHub Copilot and large language models.

In my role and responsibilities regarding IT procurement, I work in solution engineering, so I conduct POC testing for Windows 11 and ensure the stability of the operating system and the hardware. I serve as a technical level three support provider, giving infrastructure support and responsibility. I use telemetry to identify any hardware issues or infrastructure issues.

With this information, I can actually recommend to the procurement team whether we can proceed with this business laptop.

While not my top priorities when selecting laptops for my organization, I would recommend and speak to how good this laptop is. Of course, the organization still has a panel discussion about which model to choose. However, I am certain our organization is partnered with Dell, and we will definitely procure business laptops from Dell.

Dell Business Laptops have been our standard for over 10 years. We are currently conducting a refresh and moving to Dell Pro 7s across the board.

I joined this organization mid-COVID when the company was focused on providing Dell Business Laptops to users working hybrid or remote roles. They would come into the office sparingly, but providing standard laptops, equipment, docking stations, and monitors ensured a familiar experience when they did visit.

We are still in the middle of that refresh, so we do not have tight metrics at this time. This is an ongoing effort, and we are currently starting with our IT team before moving on to other end users in the district.

Usability and battery life are my top priorities when selecting laptops. Many of our laptops go to executives, and if they have a machine that dies too quickly or consistently, they are not happy.

There are many great features with these laptops. The fact that everything is trending toward USB-C means one dock and one cable makes everything simpler and easier. This is our biggest feature and biggest use case.

Something that provides many good resources and availability for our end users ensures they never lack for anything. Dell Business Laptops Pro 7 are very light, compact, and easy to use. I do not have a negative thing to say about them.

There is nothing at the moment.

I have been in the industry for about eight years.

Dell support has been great. Every time we needed something, we always get the extended warranty with the laptop, so if we do have an issue that we cannot fix in-house, we contact Dell support. They will either send a certified technician over or we send it out to them, and it has always been quick with a very great response.

We have had a long-time partnership with Dell Business Laptops, and even the company I was at before was also a Dell shop, so it is a very familiar product that is very easy to use and user-friendly. Our end users never had a complaint about it.

No other brands can really compare to Dell Business Laptops. They have many great qualities, great features, and great hardware that I would stick with that. It is going to work out, and your end users will be happy about it too.
