The customizability to exactly match the requirements of the customer is what I appreciate about PeopleSoft.

PeopleSoft is entirely flexible internally within the ecosystem and is completely customizable with delivered integrations to many other third-party products.

PeopleSoft enforces the rules, so nobody can bend the interpretation of any regulatory requirement.

I have not found another product that even comes close to PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft can secure a page, a table, a process, down to the field if required. It is fantastic at security.

PeopleSoft is on-premises and does not support any SaaS solution at the moment. It offers on-premises and hybrid deployment to the cloud, with some infrastructure deployed in an infrastructure as a service provider.

There are no significant challenges as it's an on-premises product. It provides enough capacity to manage the product yourself, whether installed in the cloud or in your own on-premises data center. The beauty of using the on-premises solution is having customizations according to business requirements, because business requirements are not always aligned with the out-of-the-box product. You have to customize and tune it according to the business process and requirements.

The breadcrumb approach to navigation in PeopleSoft is good. nVision is also a good supplement.

As a technical developer, the technical support features are the most valuable. Specifically, I work with the application engine, component interface, XL to CI tools, REST APIs, activity guides, and the event mapping framework. These tools allow me to handle day-to-day technical support tasks, such as fixing issues with existing pages and resolving technical issues that arise. Additionally, I use these tools to implement new enhancements and deliver end-to-end solutions for my clients.

Prior to this, I used another solution. This solution has a good interface. 

The customization and catering to our specific needs have helped. There are obvious benefits. 

The streamlining process is accelerating, and it has helped me. It aids me from an auditing perspective, as it's all system-driven, and cannot be altered.

The user interface has improved significantly. The current client redesigns work centers per subsidiary business unit, making navigation more intuitive and easier for end users. Reporting and analytics capabilities have greatly improved.

I liked the breadcrumb approach to navigation. More recently, the Work Center functionality was a good innovation. And finally, PeopleSoft’s acquisition of nVision has been a good move.

PeopleSoft Application Engine handles all batch-related jobs. Despite being around ten to fifteen years old, the Application Engine remains one of the best solutions in the market today, given its reliable performance.

When it comes to features, PeopleSoft's General Ledger functionality stands out. Creating and posting journal entries is seamless, with a low risk of errors. Even if errors occur, the system provides informative error messages rather than cryptic ones. So, even functional users can understand it very quickly.

What makes PeopleSoft stand out are a few key factors. First, its user interface is impressive, and a couple of years ago, it was notably faster than many Oracle cloud-based platforms I have encountered. Second, the adaptability of pan-fluid pages adds significant value. Unlike other systems that struggle with mobile applications, PeopleSoft seamlessly adjusts to various screen sizes, making it very user-friendly. Lastly, the multi-currency support is a standout feature. In most other systems, payrolls are limited to a single currency, but in PeopleSoft, a single payroll can handle multiple currencies, which is highly practical and efficient.

PeopleSoft worked the way it was supposed to. My experience was that the solution is very stable in terms of performance and scalability.

I use the reporting feature occasionally to check for potential improvements in timesheets. We have integrated it with Power BI. 

I love how easy it is to customize. I often say that PeopleSoft's greatest feature is how customizable it is.

PeopleSoft is a fantastic solution. It's deployable in the cloud. 

It's very fully featured. It has equal in feature/function and more configurability than SAP.

The customization is great. Also, you can change it significantly without having to write much code. That's a big benefit for multinational organizations.

The solution is incredibly scalable.

All the features of the solution are integral to the functionality. Additionally, the navigation customization is beneficial.

It is a very stable ERP solution. It is also supported on Oracle Cloud and provides extensive features. For example, we are doing load balancing and it does this perfectly. When more people need to use the system, Oracle Cloud infrastructure automatically scales up the ERP deployment so that it can handle millions of people using it.

PeopleSoft is resilient and has the flexibility for us to customize it.

The solution allows us to explore the databases and enables people to properly develop their work. 

PeopleSoft is a good core system. It has a lot of functionality. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancement features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us. It is very good.

Employees can use PeopleSoft to input their time and their own absences. Additionally, they can look at their paychecks and configure their direct deposits.

The most valuable feature is that it's wide and broad and it does about everything anybody needs in a major organization from a back-office systems point of view. 

It's a mature product. I've been using it since 1994. It came out maybe a few years before that. It's matured over the years to where, from a back-office system point of view in those primary areas, if you want an all-inclusive system, you can do almost anything you need to do with PeopleSoft without having to buy other third party systems to bolt on to it.

They continue to improve and support the product. The latest announcement was that they're going to continue to support it through 2032. However, every year they add a year or two to that. They confirm their outgoing support for 10 years almost every year.

The financial capabilities are great.

We really like the HCM.

It's great for helping users deal with their supply chain.

The stability is quite good.

The solution has the potential to scale. 

It's very easy to integrate with other solutions.

It is a customizable product. We can customize it based on our needs, which is one of the features that I like about PeopleSoft. 

As far as financial accounting is concerned, the user interface is very good. You can also configure Chart of Accounts for all performance insights. 

Peoplesoft is the best payroll software in the market.

Job data is a valuable feature. The business unit concept is also important.

The most valuable feature of PeopleSoft is the functionality that allows the ability to find all the data about employees that are needed.

I like the speed of the processing and how easy it is to use.

The most valuable features are the functionality to take care of HR and payroll needs, SQR and SQL tools, and good security.

The feature that I have found most valuable is having the sources so that you're able to adapt the product to your needs. That was a big benefit. Then, when we chose Oracle, it was also for the graphical interface, which was already uploaded at that time. These are the two big advantages.

I think PeopleSoft is a solid solution. It has a lot of the basics. If the system is used properly it meets the needs of the customer. I think it's a very strong, solid product, very mature. I haven't heard of any issues from our clients. The solution has PeopleTools as a feature which allows for customization and provides flexibility.

The PeopleSoft interface is very good.

The integration with Microsoft Exchange Server works well.

The time system is what we get the most benefit from.

The recruiting is most valuable. It saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management. Parsing of CVs is productive but accuracy can be improved. 

I basically deal with order management, purchasing order, inventory and accounts receivable.

In general, this solution is user-friendly and also performs well. There are two types of forms. One is a standardized form, which you can define things into. The other, you can customize so more repetition can be done in an even manner. That way, it can be designed for what the public or user actually wants. It's not very tough for any person, or layman to understand exactly what the screen requires one to do.

I believe this software is quite easy to work with, because I have used other software, such as SAP. I find Oracle and SAP are both easier to work with than other apps.

The other reason I use this solution is because I have only worked for one and a half years with SAP, whereas I have been working with Oracle for nine years, so I have more experience in Oracle and I find it more user-friendly.

The most valuable feature is the core HR, the strength, how the data is captured, and position management that gives flexibility in different organizations.

Also, the work center where you can see the different steps in your activity guide. There are different tasks that need to be performed for a recruiter to set up an activity guide. He can see all of the tasks to complete the upgrading for a new hire.

The ease of use. PeopleSoft is easy to understand, where any end user that is logged in can easily navigate through the menus. You don't need any help as long as you have the instructions. 

The HR features are the solution's most valuable aspects.

The answer to this question will vary from one client to another. Some Clients are more focused on the processes of how it's working within the system. Others are more focused on what they can improve by using more PeopleSoft features. Most of them are not sure what functionality has given them more leisure towards doing things manually. Most of the time issues are around customizations that are part of standard practice which is at times hard for clients to get rid of and that process becomes a habit and the resistance is noticed not only from employees but by the organization as a whole, which I think is not very productive. 

We find the Campus Solutions very valuable. Right now, we're working on making the same service for the students.

The most valuable feature for us is the integration between the HR Payroll and Financials modules. We really like the way they link and work together because there are no duplicate entries and the information flows from HR Payroll to Financials, and from Financials back to HR Payroll.

The most valuable feature of PeopleSoft Procurement is the completely end-to-end integration of the procurement process. From the time you set up the master data information and set up the contracts, you are able to create transactions.

There are so many features like Campus Solutions, Payroll, and student finance.

One of the best on-prem ERP systems on the market with robust features. It is a complete suite with modules that fully cover all the needs of any business. Also, it is highly customizable.

The most valuable feature of this product is the HR suite; it is leading vendor for human resources in the market. So for me, the HR and payroll features are the biggest flagship of the PeopleSoft product.

The most valuable feature of the CRM part of it is its configurability; it’s highly configurable.

It is strong in business processes and technology. The technology is open-ended. The user interface is much more stable and really robust. The strength of PeopleSoft is that the business processes are solid.

I like its wide variety and its use in many applications; receivables, payables, general ledger.

The user interface that I use is very intuitive, it’s to the point of what I want to use it for. For what I have, it provides me the right fields and gives me some predictive information as well, which helps in my day to day job.

For example, any time you need to search information for any employee, you do not need to navigate through different screens and menus. You just type any information about the person and you can start to navigate. It's very practical and saves a lots of time. Its also easier for employees that only access the application one or two times per month.

The Strategic Module – with features such as Profile Management, Performance Management, Career Planning, Succession Planning, Recruitment, Global Payroll, and Administer Training.

I find that the user interface is very comfortable and convenient to use. It's pretty intuitive for what I need to do.

The allocation tool is probably the most valuable feature for us in PeopleSoft. With it, we can schedule it to run overnight and then find out what happened in the morning. Previously, everything had to be kicked off manually, and now we can just schedule a batch to run overnight. I don't have to actually run it because I just verify it.

We love the General Ledger feature. It does what we need it to do -- financial reports of accounts payable, T&O, and T&E. I'm not called at 2 am to put out a fire anymore. And for me, the stability is extremely important. It's important that it's reliable, up, and available for clients when they need.

The SOAP and REST features are the most valuable features. What I like is that we can have multiple web services created and multiple consumers can use them together without any interruption or downtime. It helps us to have a very reusable kind of environment where we can have a single service that can be reused from multiple sources.

Once you get the feel of it and learn how to use it, the ease of use and performance are the most valuable features. It processes everything very quickly.

Our end process is going through multiple procure-to-pay systems. So the most valuable feature of PeopleSoft is the collaboration that it provides between our procurement/purchasing and accounts payable.

The most valuable feature is the continuous roll-out of bug fixes, new features, and functionalities. Oracle really listens to the customers and provides valuable content for when those PUMS come out.

Having a complete enterprise solution where all the reporting is in our own centralized system is great. Also, having capabilities for analytics and reporting needs is highly valuable for us.

There are several new features in the PeopleSoft tool set that I've found particularly valuable, such as grid control and related actions.

The fact that it's an all-enterprise solution is the most valuable feature to me. It's fully integrated with our HR and finance departments and works well throughout our campus infrastructure.

The most valuable features most important to me are the web solution, the web interface, and the integration with other ECM products.

With the way that my agency uses PeopleSoft, the most valuable feature of it is the ability it gives us to track our contracts and the release against those contracts.

We've had a really excellent customer experience with it because of two main features -- it's easy to upgrade and it interfaces well with other systems. Ease-of-upgrade is important because we need to maintain the our workflow without the interruption of waiting for the system to upgrade. And we have other applications we run, so it's important that PeopleSoft can interface with them and everything works together.

The ability to fully customize it for our needs is huge. It's by far the most valuable feature for us when it comes to HR management.

It’s more configurable than it used to be. This makes it easier. You have opportunities where coding is not required and I think that’s the direction they are heading in, but if you have complex needs this does create an issue.

It has definitely evolved over time. I like the direction they are going in. It’s more robust now than it used to be, although sometimes that’s a good thing and sometimes a bad thing!

PeopleSoft HCM is a mature, flexible and robust product. It integrates very well with our IT infrastructure. Its user interface is very good, too.

It’s a very robust and mature product, and perhaps it’s the first HCM product that came out onto the market. It integrates very well with our existing infrastructure, and even though we try not to customize it very much, it is very customizable, which fits our business needs very well. Flexibility is very good for us.
