The scalability of Microsoft Power Apps is typically good for small applications, but when it comes to large data sets, it becomes a little difficult to work with and cannot handle those large data sets, so we need to be really careful while designing queries and applying filters at the source.

Microsoft Power Apps can be a worthy solution and it falls under the easier and medium range but it gets more difficult if there are many requirements, owing to which I think Microsoft Power Apps cannot be the best solution. If the solution deals with not too many processes, then it is the best tool as it becomes easier and quick to implement.
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Millions of people around the world use the tool. In MetLife, Mexico, around 2,000,000 users use the tool.

I think the solution's scalability is growing faster, and it was a long wait for such a tool with Microsoft. It's been improving for the last five years, so the progress is good, and people are using it. People like the tool because it has good scalability. While we're still in the early days and need to develop it more, I'll be asking for 30 subscriptions initially. Within business architecture here, we're probably going to be somewhere between 10 to 15 analysts. Right now, we may only have ten as we are still building the business case.
It's unlimited where you can implement this. The scalability just depends. With the continued support within an in-house setup, you can make it what you want. It's my understanding that the scalability is really unlimited.

Right now, I can't say much about the solution's scalability. At the moment, we are using it for a few users, but I think we plan on increasing our scope in about two years. This would be about 1,700 people in France on the Continental retail side.

We have a few thousand users in our organization. They are completely different. Most are individual contributor roles, but who uses what for what varies greatly.
It is being used extensively, and I'm sure there are plans to expand its use even further.

Since my previous company had a specific license agreement with Microsoft, the solution was scalable. The solution allowed for adding new licenses to the company on demand through a step-by-step procedure. This task was carried out during the first stage of the solution's deployment process after we discovered the need for additional licenses.
So, around 65,000 employees were using the solution in the environment flawlessly. Also, my previous company had plans to increase the number of users. The company had decided that since the platform was an excellent one, it should predominantly be used for small and medium processes. Management was planning to scale it up and was waiting for Microsoft to provide a more powerful capacity solution at a time when the company had around 1,00,000 employees.

We rarely scale when it comes to Power Apps. Once you deploy the application, that's it. So if you need to scale something more robust you probably have to deploy a new one.
Currently, there are over 500 users of Power Apps in our company.
We plan on expanding because it saves us a lot of cost in terms of the application that we currently use this for.

It is scalable if we integrate with other applications like Power Automate and connect it with some other applications or some other databases like SQL. That said, in the current arrangement with SharePoint, we have some limitations. The moment the data increases, if we're able to integrate Power Automate, then surely it becomes a scalable application. Right now it can be scaled, however, it's not something that we are looking to do.
There are maybe 60 to 70 users at this point of time actively giving us data, however, there could be other applications that people are using.

It's scalable if we're talking about the database, about data warehouse, however, not about PowerApps. PowerApps is not scalable. It's scalable, in the sense that the app you can share for many users, however, you have to pay by user. Scalability isn't really applicable.

Microsoft Power Apps is scalable. SharePoint is a farm. It is a big forest of machines interconnected by a messaging system, Windows Azure Service Bus. It can be understood as a telepathic network between the machines. As long as one machine is running, the system's running and as soon as more machines are adding the capabilities, the load is distributed automatically.

As with most Microsoft products, it's scalable. We recently deployed in a company in Burundi where they have 50 users. It requires two, sometimes three people for maintenance. Once the solution is set up, there's not much required. We'd like to scale nationwide but it ultimately depends on the cost.

I don't have so much experience at this point, but I don't think we can do much about its scalability. I believe it scales by itself, but we cannot modify many properties or configurations to allow that. We are a multinational that operates globally, but I work at a regional office in Iberia. There are 700 people working in the company here in our region, but my company has around 20,000 employees globally.

We have about 300 users on the solution currently. We do have approximately 700 plus users on Dynamics 365, however, not all of them are using Power Apps.
The solution is pretty easy to scale.

Scalability-wise, I haven't put any complexity behind my apps yet. I haven't really experimented with scaling them up. From what I can see on the tutorial videos I've found, it seems to be possible. However, I have not directly attempted to scale anything so far. I couldn't speak from personal experience on the matter. I'd love for it to be possible.
I do plan to increase usage in the future. There are a few people who have seen my apps who have definitely reached out to me and said, "Oh, this is great." I help them understand how you can use Power Apps themselves as not many people knew about the product before they saw my work.
More and more people are using it within the organization. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, however. I still have not set up any session for Power Apps for training. I've done sessions for Power Automate, Excel, Word, and SharePoint. There just needs to be more training for awareness. This is a relatively new product. Maybe that's why it doesn't yet have the visibility.

We have more than 1,500 users in our organization. There are other users that will also be able to access the solution from the outside. With this particular solution, in terms of maintenance and direct work on it, we started off as a team of four, however, now we are a team of ten. We needed some more people to maintain the surrounding software. However, overall, it's been good.
We're not a small organization. We're pretty big. It's easier to focus on smaller projects rather than trying to implement something that's large scale.

Microsoft PowerApps is not scalable. When compared to the other solutions that we've worked with, it's scalable. Everyone can build their own automation and there isn't a single repository where you can share or make sure that you're using the same automation. Everyone builds their own version of the same automation it's inefficient and at the same time, it is not scalable because if one thing breaks, you have to go update every process that you've automated.

We haven't really tested the scalability, however, we've noticed that, since everyone is working from home, it's much slower than if everyone works from the office.
With everything going on, we don't really have the right scenario to really test for scalability. That may happen in the future. COVID-19 has put a lot of plans on hold.
We currently have 12 people using it. They are mostly project managers and developers. We also have two sales people and the CEO on it.

It's so scalable. We can scale to all the latest technologies and we can integrate with the social platforms. We can integrate with the document management system (SharePoint). We can integrate with the Active Directory exchange server. It's limitless.
It is so much more scalable once you have everything available over in the Dataverse so that you can write triggers and automate a lot of the BPM. Once you have everything with you, you can spin any dashboards, reports, schedules, and then those can go through mail alerts. You can schedule alerts through WhatsApp messages. You can schedule it through voice IVRs. You name a thing, or you can schedule it. You build it over here and then schedule it over there.

The scalability is limited if you want to scale externally. A company needs to keep that in mind.
I only launched my first application sometime around Christmas, or just after. It's still quite new. I have about a dozen or so people that move in and out of it. It's just a small app.
As a company, we are quite small. All of our users would be external. And, due to the fact that the solution gets expensive for external users, it's not a solution we plan to expand upon or use for the long term.
