The typical use case for Microsoft Identity Manager is to automate Active Directory, where it is responsible for onboarding new employees to on-premises AD or to the cloud based on certain criteria.

Microsoft Identity Manager is used primarily in the retail business. The implementation is enterprise-level within a national company, specifically at JCPenney, which is a large organization.

We implement a zero trust network, so part of the identity is managed with Microsoft IAM.

Microsoft Identity Manager serves as an identity platform for our employees and customers.

Microsoft Identity Manager is a solution that will be retiring soon. At the moment, our use cases are, for example, when one user logs in to our website. If some employees want to open any application in our corporate network, Microsoft Identity Manager is the platform that can authorize access to the application.

Microsoft Identity Manager is used in everyday identity management workflows by many customers who prefer a local architecture to integrate it with other architectures. They also utilize the solution to implement test services or single sign-on solutions.

My primary use case is to manage identities and enforce policies and workflows to manage user profiles and provision them securely, as well as streamline that process.

In our organization, we use Microsoft Identity Manager as part of our Microsoft setup. It is all about making life easier for our users. When they log in, they can access all their apps with a single sign-on. Our admins also get to control access levels easily. This works great with Microsoft services like email and applications, even if we are using Microsoft servers. While I haven't looked beyond Microsoft, within our setup, Microsoft Identity Manager is a fantastic tool for managing who can do what, and it is a big help to our team.

Microsoft Identity Manager is used for complete user provisioning and life cycle management of users. It is also used for automating the active directory.

We use the solution for authentication management.

We use Microsoft Identity Manager for application identification and single sign-on processes for different applications.

Our primary use case for the solution is ID provisioning. We use it to manage the entire life cycle of an employee from their entrance to exit from the organization, which includes credential management and passport management.

We use the synchronization service the company provides for data synchronization. We're customers of Microsoft and I'm the company manager. 

We use the product for identity management. It stores organizational data, including contracts we generate using Active Directory.

There have been only two, maybe three projects related to this product. The challenge with obtaining information about these projects is that we focused mainly on designing the solution. 

The customers did not want continuous involvement in the operations because they couldn't see immediate results. So, we started with initial contact and face-to-face interviews to understand the organization's structure. Then, we began integrating the solution, including the site-based aspects and the schema for the metadata directory, which is essential for working with other components. 

However, the time spent designing and integrating the identity solution is a challenge. The deployment process is not quick. In the best-case scenario, it may take around six months before you see some tangible results at the beginning of the implementation of the identity solution.

We are currently using this solution, and we are also a partner. We have implemented it in different sectors for different use cases. For example, we have implemented it in the financial sector to synchronize and automate lifecycle management. We have also done deployments to only provide self-service for resetting passwords. We also have many deployments related to lifecycle management in schools and the education sector.

I have an ongoing project with my clients that encompasses research.

Hypbrid cloud is the major case, also some on Mobile Application developing.

The primary use case is for the single migration of the user from on-premises to Azure Active Directory in the cloud. It is also used for the Microsoft authentication application for mobile devices.

We authenticate on the smart device back to back so they can access their emails and other applications.

We are planning to use this for the Windows 10 authentication as well as directly from the Azure Active Directory.

We are currently using a hybrid identity access management solution. We've got an on-premise ADFS that is running a Server 2016 ADFS farm. That is coupled to a Microsoft Identity Management Server 2016, which is then coupled to Azure Active Directory as the cloud-based identity and access management solution.

Our primary use case for this solution is to secure the identity of our customer. It is required for compliance and for making our systems very secure.

We work with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Services as an identity and access management system. This solution provides privileged identity management single sign-on, so we're focusing on that.

I use Microsoft Identity Manager to help users with different groups, closing different applications, access provision, and for de-provisioning access for different applications.
