Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the policy CSPs.""The solution is scalable. We currently have tens of thousands of users within our organization using the solution.""It works pretty well for us.""At the moment, Autopilot is the most valuable feature.""We are using the mobile feature, and we are also using MDM to lock the devices, to push restrictions, et cetera""The initial setup is not overly complex or difficult.""The standout features of Intune are its excellent mobile device management and highly effective application management capabilities.""The biggest benefits of Intune are the ability to push changes and the added security. When we moved forward with Defender, we onboarded all those machines automatically. That helps dramatically. For a while, we were left with machines that weren't protected. We could see where people had done things they shouldn't have done, and Defender saved our skins a few times. It didn't happen a lot, but it happened enough that it made us glad we made that decision."

"The Cloud Identity is well advanced in terms of features, applications, and the components that it is offering.""The most valuable feature is that you can manage users from one central location.""It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.""Although we have not looked at the whole product and explored it completely, we find that all the authentication features that we are using now are valuable.""One of the most useful features was the single sign-on. You can use it as an identity provider or service provider. And you can use their organization unit feature to enable or disable some of the features for a specific group of users.""The initial setup is easy.""The main control page and the ability to manage all our users from a web-based portal are the most valuable aspects of the solution. That's particularly useful because we're a heterogeneous network.""The most valuable feature of Google Cloud Identity is its stability."

"The most valuable features of MobileIron UEM are tunneling and enterprise integration.""It's effective in what it is able to achieve and it's easy to use.""The company provides great customer service.""The most valuable feature is that everything is in one place, which makes it easy to manage.""The user interface is user-friendly."

Cons
"Intune's reporting and logging could be improved. When troubleshooting, it's difficult to collect the logs and determine what's happening. If I want to filter out the compliant devices, I can see it from the logs, but I would like the option to drill down further.""Intune has some limitations when it comes to application updates for third-party applications. You can schedule an update, but when it's a package setup, you need to supercede and replace it each time.""One area for improvement is app deployment. Another is the Windows update rollout. If you're rolling out an object to a device that's offline, Intune stops trying to reach this device after it sits idle for a bit. We are forced to find a workaround that could help manage that.""It should be easier to define policies and comply with those policies.""When Microsoft Intune is used with different android devices it does not always work as it is supposed to.""From a new user's perspective, it may be a little overwhelming because there are quite a few things to look at in the console, however, once you are sort of acclimated and are familiar with your core functions, it's fairly simple and straightforward.""Microsoft Intune has a latency response time issue. The latency has room for improvement.""I would like to see easier pushdowns. Currently, we have to package our own software and then push it. Intune can make that way easier and integrate applications, such as Zoom and Adobe Acrobat, that are used by a lot of enterprise or corporate organizations."

More Microsoft Intune Cons →

"If you want to set up some alerts, you don't have much control over the configuration. You have to use their default alerts. And they only provide alerts for certain activities, so you cannot customize those. Monitoring isn't very helpful either.""Google Cloud Identity the UI could improve.""The solution's storage capacity could be increased.""Google Cloud Identify could make the technology used easier to understand as a layman making it more user-friendly.""The pricing for this solution is a little bit higher than AWS and others, which is something that should be improved.""The interface could be more user-friendly.""To improve the product, the integration with third-party products could always be smoother.""The solution needs to better integrate with Mac's OS."

More Google Cloud Identity Cons →

"We would like the initial setup to be simpler.""The integration between the MobileIron and Advanced Neurons isn't completely in sync, and we're still working on that.""MobileIron UEM could improve the monitoring of devices.""UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated.""The interface is complicated and not very easy to use."

    Reviews from Real Users

Microsoft Intune stands out among its competitors for a number of reasons. Two major ones are its ability to secure all devices under its management and the flexibility that the solution offers its users.

A computing services manager notes, "Its security is most valuable. It gives us a way to secure devices, not only those that are steady. We do have a few tablets and other devices, and it is a way for us to secure these devices and manage them. We know they're out there and what's their status. We can manage their life cycle and verify that they're updated properly."

The head of IT engineering at a financial services company writes, "The one feature we find most useful is the Mobile Application Manager. There are two types: we have the complete MDM and the Mobile Application Manager (MAM). We don't give our users phones, it is their own personal phone, and we need to allow them to have access to the company details on their phone. We need to create a balance between their own personal data and the company data. We deploy the Mobile Application Manager for them so that we won't be able to interfere with their own personal data."

Cloud Identity is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) and enterprise mobility management (EMM) product. It offers the identity services and endpoint administration that are available in G Suite as a stand-alone product. As an administrator, you can use Cloud Identity to manage your users, apps, and devices from a central location - the Google Admin console.
