To use Automation Anywhere, no technical knowledge is required because it is simply a drag-and-drop type of tool. Each and every action is available in the tool, and we can easily automate a task. Business people can also easily run the created bot and monitor a particular task. They can easily monitor the results based on their business criteria. Automation Anywhere is a very good tool. It is easier than UiPath. A non-technical person can learn it very quickly.

Non-technical users can overcome the learning curve in four to five days.
View full review »Automation Anywhere is considered user-friendly, with clear documentation available. However, I've found the most effective way to learn is by observing colleagues who are building new processes, allowing users to see the software in action.
View full review »I did training over one or two weeks. However, I did find some of the training challenging, specifically in areas where I didn't have any background. That said, I'm using it with legacy applications, which makes some things more complex.
Even if users do not have technical skills, they can still use Automation Anywhere. It's not hard to learn.
View full review »The learning curve is easy. We can learn how to use it within one week.
View full review »Automation Anywhere is considered user-friendly, with the learning curve manageable for beginners.
View full review »We found a local Automation Anywhere expert and then trained someone inside the company to be a developer. This person had technical skills, so it was easy for him to understand the things in Automation Anywhere. The learning part was kind of quick, but I don't think that would be easy for a normal business user. I think it would be more complicated for a normal business user. I won't say that I learned all about Automation Anywhere, but I know how to automate simple tasks that I learned by watching some videos and checking the community forums.
View full review »Our developers find Automation Anywhere's learning curve to be extremely short. We have good developers who can learn automation anywhere quickly.
View full review »The learning curve is very short. We have started a few hackathons. We've noticed, in one week, that we were able to do 40 cases. We did it twice. So in two weeks, we have almost 80 cases from idea to construction.

The initial learning curve for Automation Anywhere will be challenging because the drag-and-drop interface differs significantly from traditional coding. While packages are used, the underlying logic is expressed visually rather than textually. This transition may take one to two months as users acclimate to the new terminology and approach. Once familiar with the platform, developers will find it easier to construct automation processes due to their existing programming knowledge, which includes concepts like string operations, conditions, loops, and other programming language constructs. Although the terminology will be unfamiliar, the underlying logic remains consistent, making the platform more accessible over time.

The learning curve for creating basic bots is approximately one week for non-technical users. However, complex bot creation requires coding knowledge, typically in Python, C#, or DLL. For those with a background in backend coding, such as C# or Python, an additional month may be needed to understand the intricacies of RPA or Automation Anywhere fully. The learning time ranges from one week to one month, depending on the individual's skill level.
View full review »it's highly intuitive, and the learning curve is short. We started seeing value from Automation Anywhere within a month or so after implementation, but that was with the older version. It's even faster now that everything is on the web.

Automation Anywhere is easy to learn, with a dedicated certification that takes one month to complete. However, to gain sufficient practical experience, users typically require at least six months to work on automation projects.

Automation Anywhere offers good learning materials that are free to access. However, some background in RPA or an understanding of workflows is recommended to effectively utilize the platform and its resources. While the materials are comprehensive, a basic understanding of automation concepts will make the learning process smoother.
View full review »When I took the training, I did 40 hours of basic and 100 hours of advanced. If I had learned it from scratch, my experience would be different. It was the last platform I learned out of the three. I had Blue Prism and UiPath under my belt before I learned it.

View full review »The learning curve for non-technical users of Automation Anywhere is relatively gentle, allowing them to grasp the basic functionalities and build simple automation quickly.
View full review »Automation Anywhere has a significant learning curve, but it is understandable and reasonable. Having a support team makes the process easier compared to learning it independently.

It's easy for new users with no experience. You can learn quickly. You can also use pre-built packages that allow you to build a bot without much experience.

Overall, it is pretty easy for non-technical business users to use Automation Anywhere. One week is good enough to train them, and it is 90% easy for them, except for some technical terms or knowledge required.

The learning curve is easy, and someone with basic technical skills can easily learn and use it without needing to manually deploy codes or engage in complex tasks.
View full review »When onboarding members of our team, being a lower-code platform with much of it being no code, it has been good to bring people up to speed. It's easy to bring both people from developer and non-developer backgrounds up to scale.

The low-code platform is pretty easy to learn, especially if you have come from a technical background. Then you can build quite a few powerful automations with it already with the traditional RPA in terms of the flexibility it gives you.
View full review »What I appreciate the most about Automation Anywhere is how easy it is to use. One thing I noticed in the beginning when we first started using Automation Anywhere was how quickly we were able to learn it.
View full review »During our deployment of Automation Anywhere, the first and most important thing that we did was to make sure that we got everyone trained. We spent a lot of upfront time training our developers, and that really paid off in the long term.

We have a group of citizen developers and I find it very easy to teach and use.
For citizen developers, the learning curve is much faster compared to other tools.

For about a month, I found it difficult because I did not know about the various actions available in Automation Anywhere or other RPA tools. Now most things are clear. Whether using Power Automate or Automation Anywhere, I know which actions to use for specific tasks.

From a product design perspective, Automation Anywhere presents more complexity, especially regarding communication and the number of moving parts.
View full review »The software's easy-to-understand interface is its biggest benefit, aiding rapid learning and automation creation.

View full review »I would advise organizations to start small with a clear use case, establish strong governance for bot management, involve business, IT, and operations teams collaboratively, and plan for continuous monitoring and improvement, which is crucial for deployment.
the learning curve is still steeper than expected, and more intuitive drag and drop, plug and play simplicity would speed up adoption across non-technical departments.
View full review »The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible.

The learning curve of Automation Anywhere was a steep one. It was hard to get used to the software initially, but then after some time, I was okay with everything. Initially, the deployment was a little bit tricky to get used to, but with time, we are now okay. Initially, it was a little bit complex.
View full review »Regarding how easy or difficult it is to train new employees on how to use Automation Anywhere, it is quite complex for new users to get adopted to it because of the many features, and going through each of the features is quite difficult for new people. However, once you get them trained, then we are good.
First of all, Automation Anywhere has a complex workflow which requires more technical expertise. That's understandable because it has a lot of features, but we also need to spend more time getting our team accustomed to it.
View full review »If you work in one RPA tool, transitioning to another is easy. For someone working on Automation Anywhere as their first RPA tool versus someone working on Automation Anywhere as their second RPA tool, the person working on Automation Anywhere as their second RPA tool will have an easier learning phase because they already understand RPA, business cases, and why RPA is being implemented. However, someone who is a fresher working in Automation Anywhere as their first tool will have a steeper learning curve.

View full review »In the user's case, as they do not have many things in their hands, I would say the learning curve is pretty flat. They were only running the automation and did not learn anything apart from just triggering the bot. There was not much to learn in the user's case.
