Visual Paradigm Valuable Features
Visual Paradigm allowed me to create UML diagrams efficiently. The tool was smarter than other tools in terms of remembering the connections between components on the screen.
For example, in other drawing programs, if I moved a box, I had to move the arrow, but Visual Paradigm handled those tasks automatically. This made it much quicker than using other tools like Visio or MagicDoor.

Visual Paradigm is simple and easy to use. It doesn't come at a high cost, and the free version has a good set of features that are easy to start using. It is user-friendly, and as you become more familiar with its deep features, you might consider upgrading to the paid version for more complex projects.

What I find the most valuable in Visual Paradigm is how easy and intuitive it is to use. It's also not excessively rigid and it is quite flexible. It does what I want it to do and doesn't try to be too theoretical.
View full review »I find it very intuitive and user-friendly. The health system is also very good, and there are a lot of training videos available. Additionally, it's very cost-effective.

The application is easy to use and provides informative diagrams.
View full review »The most valuable feature of the Visual Paradigm that I use is process modeling. Additionally, the solution has a complete set of features.
Many companies and organizations use the Visual Paradigm for their goals and for many different purposes. It has many advanced features that you can use for enterprise architecture. There are many use cases it can be used for, such as strategies modeling and documenting enterprise architecture, software development, and business analysis. There are approximately 50 different models you can use and all of them are connected together. For example, we can use form modeling in BPMN modeling, or BPMN modeling in data modeling.
View full review »The solution's most valuable feature stems from its process modeling being good apart from its system architecture modeling.
The most valuable feature is the software modeling for UML, BPMN, and SoaML.

What I like best about Visual Paradigm is its simple GUI, especially since I'm a new user. In my two years of experience with this tool, I didn't find it complex because I was able to learn how to use it via YouTube videos. Visual Paradigm is enough for me.
I also find the bridging feature in the tool valuable.
View full review »I guess the most valuable feature is that I find it easy-to-use and understand its data modeling structure and user interface. It does database reverse engineering. It does database forward engineering. It tended to be quite good at all of those things.

The solution is the best application for data modeling. It helps to architect business processes. Its best features are pricing and functionality.
Visual Paradigm has many benefits over Spark, mostly importing and testing the rules. I can also do entity relationships on Paradigm. Plus, it is very well documented.
View full review »The most valuable feature of Visual Paradigm is the ability to design form flows, add libraries, create organizational charts, and connect them all together.
View full review »What I found most valuable in Visual Paradigm is diagramming. I had a great user experience as diagramming in the tool is easy and convenient, even for complex diagrams or models. Visual Paradigm is the perfect tool for me, and I prefer it over Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
Visual Paradigm is better for collaboration if you consider, for example, versioning, so this is another valuable tool feature that's simple and embedded in the solution. In Visual Paradigm, it's also easy to set up the project with team members and collaborate, and it's also a pro of the tool.
View full review »What I really value in Visual Paradigm is ease of use. It's a good product. It also has different features and has more functionalities for different diagrams.

I love Visual Paradigm because it has many different types of diagrams. For any field of engineering, we can find a diagram. We've had a lot of great experiences with BPMN diagrams. We like that we can add extra layers of documentation and notes.
Also, the simulation feature is great. It allows us to analyze processes before really implementing them.

The solution has a community edition, which makes it free of charge. I'm using the community edition myself within our organization. We are a small team and it's easier for us to find free options.
Visual Paradigm is great due to the fact that there are lots of templates in their product.
The solution seems to be constantly improving itself with regular updates and add-ons.
The solution is very user-friendly. It's easy to just open it and start working.
View full review »The solution allows for different models to be integrated together. For example, if you have a chart or more than four organization charts, then you can use the concepts in your BPM and model. Or your BPM and model can be linked to visual models or use cases.
View full review »I like the fact that this solution is complete. It doesn't matter whether I want to draw a quick UML model, or a mind map, or some architecture or business motivation. It's in the tool, and there's not much that I can't do with it.
This product has a very low learning curve and I like the user interface.

- Resource Navigator that supports the syntax of a given modeling language.
- Element/relation reference: any file/folder, URL, shape, reference to another element.
- Set of transit To/From (any diagrams), best to facilitate navigation in a complex model.
- Custom TAGs (Element Labels with Values, many Attributes Types).
- Stereotypes (metadata, TAGs, +graphic visualization).
- Specific repository views: Navigator chart, Model explorer, Class repository, Logical view.
ORM: Reverse/code generation (Java classes, Hibernate, database (SQL including DDL, test data generation, 19 vendors DB) - application and data migration is a easy when you know how to do it.
Repository:
- Local: File system (multiple workspaces)
- Server:
- On-premise Team Work Server (TWS purchased separately) with access from the Internet.
- Cloud VPository (1GB free, thin editor for some types of models).
Robust: No problem with a large number of elements and links in the model (verified on large projects with hundreds of diagrams and tens of thousands of elements and links)
OpenAPI: Very well documented, the ability to create custom plugins or applications for integration into a comprehensive solution.
Document Generator: PDF, HTML, DOC that you can customize to your needs (easy use of DOT templates in Word), order and topicality of documentation is the basis of the work of an architect
