We're using Trend Micro Apex One for protection against threats.

The security Trend Micro Apex One provides is okay.

The device, e.g. laptop, becomes slow after installing Trend Micro Apex One, so this is an area for improvement. The security it provides is okay, but it causes slow performance after installation. Personally, I don't like this software, because I can install and use other solutions that won't affect the performance of my laptop, though Trend Micro Apex One has many uses.

My company has been using Trend Micro Apex One for more than one year.

Trend Micro Apex One is a stable software.

Installation of this software was quick. It took just 10 to 20 minutes to complete the installation.

I'm an infrastructure consultant, not part of the security team. My company is a system integrator in Thailand. We have many, many silos, e.g. we have the security, data, network, and development teams. My role is under the network team.

I wouldn't recommend Trend Micro Apex One to other users who want to start using it.

My company pays for the license of this software, but I don't know if it's a monthly or a yearly subscription.

My rating for Trend Micro Apex One is a five out of ten.

We use Trend Micro Apex One to block threats that do not contain files. This is done by utilizing machine learning techniques to understand if there is any abnormal behaviors or execution of any processes being done on the machines.

We have been able to develop policies created to monitor abnormal behaviors in addition to application control level policies that only allow specific applications to execute - the rest are blocked. 

The EDR capability of Trend Micro has helped us in investigating the root cause for any threat that is hunting by providing us with good visibility of the timeline and activity of the threat.

Additionally, Trend Micro can be rolled out with some script which no longer requires us to rely on third party tools.

I would like to see a sandboxing feature in the next release - which is currently something being supported by a third party - in addition to EDR capability on the cloud applications.

I have been using this solution for more than a year now.

So far from a performance standpoint, we haven't faced any issues. We feel it's a stable product and it is not that resource-intensive either.

It is scalable and you do not need to purchase additional hardware to do so.

The support is really good in the Middle East, they are even available on the weekends to address issues.

We used McAfee in the past, we switched due to the modern techniques that are offered by Trend Micro. Trend Micro also offers excellent features and a great machine learning technique.

The initial setup was very straightforward as we were clear on our scope and what we wanted to achieve with the solution. We had 700 work stations and about 250 servers and the overall deployment too two months.

We used a combination of a vendor and an in-house team.

There is an annual license.

I am using Trend Micro Apex One for computer protection.

Trend Micro Apex One is a seamless solution compared to others.

The scans in Trend Micro Apex One take a very long time and it takes up my system resources. I do not receive alerts. These areas could improve.

I have been using Trend Micro Apex One for approximately five years.

The solution is stable.

I can not scale the solution from a user level.

We have approximately 300 end users that are using the solution in my organization.

We have approximately three people for the support of the solution.

There is a license for this solution and it can be paid for monthly or annually.

I rate Trend Micro Apex One a four out of ten.

We are using Trend Micro Apex One for security.

Trend Micro Apex One most valuable features are centralized management, ease of use, and help user management. Additionally, it can detect vulnerabilities in the end-users system

The solution has been able to protect against any attacks or security issues. 

When compared to other solutions it has the most value.

The solution could improve security. It is important to always keep the organization secure.

I have been using Trend Micro Apex One for approximately five years.

The solution is stable.

The scalability is good enough for what we use it for.

The technical support is good. We have received good local and regional support from Trend Micro.

Trend Micro Apex One installation is not complicated, it's just straightforward. If you have some experience with the solution it is simple but if you are new to configuring the database it can be complicated. This is the one difficult aspect of the implementation, if they can do the database configuration everything else will be easy.

If I compare Trend Micro Apex One with other solutions there are a few challenges for customers who have do not need more licenses. Sometimes the customers struggle because this product is totally an enterprise solution, and the price for the licenses can be expensive for individuals or small organizations.

The premium level features should be added to the general features.  It would be very helpful for general users because when we are trying to provide the premium features to the general users, sometimes it's very costly. If features are available for general users, it would extend their market globally.

I have evaluated Microsoft Defender.

My advice to others is if they want to protect their end-users, this is a great solution when compared to similar products.

I rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.

We use the latest version. 

The solution handles all the necessary functions. These include machine learning, which is quite useful. The updates are constantly serviced and, as the solution is stable, it is updated daily. 

The technical support could have better response time. It is quite time consuming and takes a day for them to get back to us. 

I have been using Trend Micro Apex one for a couple of years.

The solution is stable and integrated into the system quite well. 

The solution is scalable and its deployment varies with the server and license.

From the manager's vantage point, the solution has a straightforward setup for the user. It's quite easy. 

The time the deployment takes is minimal, this process varying with the agent involved. 

The installation can be done remotely. There are many options available, including dedicated tools for the deployment. 

There are only two or three people needed for the deployment who are referred by the end user. They consist of managers, manager segments and engineers. 

Our organization did not evaluate another solution prior to going with Trend Micro Apex One. 

We are talking about the smart scan, office scan. 

The solution is integrated in the system quite well. 

There are around 400 users making use of the solution in our organization. 

I would, indeed, recommend the solution to others. 

Trend Micro Apex One constantly provides us with updates and affords the systems good protection, so I rate it as a ten out of ten.

Trend Micro Apex One could improve by making the user interface more user-friendly.

We are using Trend Micro Apex One for endpoint security.

The main features that are useful are application control, vulnerability protection, and XDR Vision One which we have recently started using. Additionally, the solution is easy to use.

Trend Micro Apex One could improve by providing signatureless detection, reducing the agent's needed system resources to increase performance, and enhance further the vulnerability assessment feature. These changes would be very helpful in the future.

I have been using Trend Micro Apex One for a short period of time. However, the company I work for has been using it for a few years.

The solution is stable.

Trend Micro Apex One is scalable. 

The technical support is satisfactory, the support could be better.

I have used CrowdStrike.

Trend Micro Apex One is easy to administer. They have different consoles to manage different aspects of the solution. If you want to use XDR you have to use Vision One and that is not good.

I would recommend this solution. However, we have found that CrowdStrike is better.

I rate Trend Micro Apex One a six out of ten.

While we consider all the features to be valuable, we occasionally encounter issues with the performance. My technical team would be in a better position than I to address these. 

The technical support should be more proactive. I rate it as an eight out ten. 

There should be better support for ransomeware. It would be nice to see proper security terms, technical improvisations in terms of security.

I rate the scalability of the solution as an eight out of ten.

We did not really work with other solutions prior to Trend Micro Apex One. 

The initial setup is not that tough. It's easy. 

The price of the solution is fine.
