Oracle Taleo Valuable Features

The workflow is good in Oracle Taleo, and the user interface has standard clear instructions and providers. The way it syncs with third-party applications is valuable. When we integrated DocuSign, the third-party application feature worked well with Oracle Taleo. The custom workflows in Oracle Taleo are good, but they depend on organization to organization based on how you define them because of data security and privacy. The user support from Oracle Taleo is great for creating custom workflows, and whenever we tried to redesign them, they were helpful in that process. We did leverage the reporting tools in Oracle Taleo. The data accuracy is not directly spot on, with some mismatch whenever we pull the report and integrate it to Power BI. I would say the accuracy is around 95 percent.Regarding the mobile-friendly candidate experience, the simple user interface does not give you all the access or permissions to use it. It is very limited, with access mostly for the approval part.Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Oracle Taleo as a product and solution as 7 to 7.5 because it still lacks some of the detailed information required. The advantage I see is the presence of the industrial Taleo stack, which is beneficial for large-scale companies handling a higher load.

Additionally, we utilize Oracle Fusion performance management. We have been using Oracle Fusion and Telehubot for about six to seven years.

Oracle Taleo's integration capabilities are good. I successfully integrate Calendly into Oracle Taleo for interview scheduling, which is a significant pain point for our processes at the time. This feature enables seamless scheduling without the back-and-forth communication, improving efficiency in our talent acquisition process.

The solution's most valuable features are the OCR, single source of truth, and simplicity of the workflows. The solution's metrics are very streamlined.

I cannot describe the advantages of the solution in specific since it was the only one that was available for our organization. My company uses the basic features of the product. The product is basically used to raise a requisition and finally, when the requisition is fulfilled, it is useful for the approval part.

The most usable and well-known feature is Oracle's recruiting module for Taleo. Performance and goal management are good to have, based on certain client requirements where the user base isn't too large, but the most workable domain of Taleo is the recruiting module.

We use Taleo mainly for recruitment. The solution has good integration capabilities and extensibility, and there's the standard integration between Fusion and Taleo as well as the validations that can be done on top of Taleo.
