I choose Dell Business Laptops because of the name Dell itself; I know what I'm getting when I buy a Dell laptop, and it's guaranteed to work and do what I need.

Using Dell Business Laptops makes it much easier for our remote workforce; they can always just remove their laptop, whether they're hotspotting from a phone on the beach or driving down the road as a passenger. The best use case is the accessibility of having the laptop whenever they need it.

The way Dell Business Laptops come already enrolled in InTune is one of the most valuable features, as it makes my life much easier when getting new employees onboarded.

The security features of Dell Business Laptops, such as the TPM, secure the laptop so well that it's a backbone of why we use it; should the laptop get lost or stolen, as long as they don't have that TPM code, they're not getting into it.

We have a hybrid workforce, and since COVID, I moved everyone away from desktops to Dell Business Laptops, so it's helped tremendously.

I think the only way Dell Business Laptops can be improved is by continuing to work on making them lighter; that's the only complaint I have about the laptops I buy, as some say they're heavy and don't feel like carrying them home or elsewhere. For the most part, that's all, and the laptop does not even weigh three pounds, but it's still heavy when put into a backpack along with all your other gadgets, so the biggest issue is the weight.

When encountering especially complex problems, resolution can take longer, though this is expected.Technology in general helps the organization grow. If there is a difference between Dell Enterprise Laptops and HP or other hardware producers, I cannot specify one. The differences that would actually make an impact usually occur at a level above client hardware, so for the clients themselves, I cannot definitively say there is a significant difference, though there may be minor variations.

Battery life is an area that could always be improved, particularly for laptops. Users have complained that battery duration is shorter than in the past, but this is also due to applications such as Teams consuming more energy, which is logical.The laptops function as expected, so I am uncertain what else could be improved without transitioning to a different product line, since Dell has different lines for other purposes. For the purposes needed, the current model performs well.

Since I have never really worked at an organization that had only non-Dell laptops, I cannot definitively say this from personal experience. However, from what I hear, Dell Enterprise Laptops are more reliable.

I am happy with the results because in most cases I did not have the power to change the decision.I simply use Dell Enterprise Laptops, so I did not remember changing from something else.As a gamer myself, I appreciate Dell Enterprise Laptops Pro Max with a good graphics card, but beyond that, I do not have a specific feature from the laptops that I believe is better than other features.The processor did not influence the decision to go with Dell Enterprise Laptops, but that was also because the organization was already with Dell.I would not know anything that they should add or recommend them to do in the future. My main use of Dell Enterprise Laptops is regular day-to-day work with Excel, Google Sheets, Google Mail, and regular office use. I am not doing any specific applications; it is just office and web-based work. I use Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and regular office work. I am not doing any 3D design or that kind of work; it is more regular office tasks.

The feature I liked the most about Dell Enterprise Laptops was the quality of the keyboard.

Except for those memory allocation problems, it worked really flawlessly. What I really liked is when I was working externally and had to plug in an HDMI cable, I could just put it in and it immediately worked. I do quite a lot of presentations at other partners and distributors, and you come in 10 to 20 minutes before the event starts and you need to be sure that you open it, plug it in, and it works. Dell Enterprise Laptops delivered on this nine and a half out of 10 times. If it wasn't working, then it was a Microsoft update again.

What I did not like was the quality of the touchpad.

Dell Enterprise Laptops handled the workload I had initially, but over time it got really slow when I was in a Teams meeting and had to open some Google Sheets or Excel sheets at the same time. I do not think that has to do with Dell Enterprise Laptops itself, but I think that has to do with the resource allocation which Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel are doing at the same time. That was really frustrating as it took an enormous amount of time. That is when I reached out to IT to see whether we could do an update with additional memory, and that is when I got advice to switch to something else.

If you would have asked me two weeks ago that question, I would probably have said that I really appreciated Dell Enterprise Laptops. But in the last couple of months, I ran into a lot of problems from a resources and memory perspective, which I do not think has anything to do with the device. It is more a Microsoft resources allocation thing. The funny thing is that I was given another device which runs a different OS, which performed faster and better with less memory. I do not think it is a hardware problem. I used to sell hardware myself, so I am completely convinced that it has to do with Microsoft and allocation of resources. I was very happy with Dell Enterprise Laptops, but my current device is way faster.

I am not sure if Dell Enterprise Laptops will need to improve their hardware in some way to keep up with the others because I do not know the Dell hardware well enough. If I was given a device, I looked into that. But if I would look at what is the story with regards to what I thought, if I would have taken my old Dell Latitude and I turned it around, I looked at the bottom and I could see 'memory upgrade here,' I would probably have taken a screwdriver, opened it, added an NVMe chip or something else to it, and it would probably have boosted it again. Now I looked at it and I thought this is something I really need to start opening systems, which I am not going to do.

If there is an easy-to-use memory update and upgrade possibility without an engineer or screwdrivers, then that would definitely have helped me because then I most likely would not have reached out to my team and I would go on a marketplace or Amazon, look for a memory module which would have fitted, and I would just have bought it personally without my HQ department interfering and I would have added the memory, and I would have been good to go again. Now I looked at it and I thought I am not going to solve this; I need to reach out. Then you reach out, and they say 'Okay, listen, we are kind of converting to MacBook Pros now; we will send you a MacBook Pro.'

I was given Dell Enterprise Laptops and the moment I was given it, I was told that it was completely pre-installed, but something went wrong, so in the end, I deployed it myself.

From an experience perspective, it was a hassle, but that does not have anything to do with the device itself. That is poor provisioning from my head office to the local subsidiary where they thought they were sending a perfectly pre-provisioned laptop which was not. I had to figure out all these things myself in the first two to three days you start working for a company. That has nothing to do with the device; that is policy and readiness and enablement from our own company, which was kind of poor. But Dell Enterprise Laptops itself immediately booted and started, and that went all.

I did not use documentation to help myself; I used my phone to call the support team.

It was not the Dell support team.

I think there are a lot of users who just say 'Okay, it is not working anymore. Here you go. Give me another one.' I used to work for Microsoft myself, so I am quite familiar with the Windows OS. In the end, if I could have accelerated Dell Enterprise Laptops again, I would have kept it because the keyboard was good and everything was working quite fine. My review rating for Dell Enterprise Laptops is 9.

Dell Enterprise Laptops are our main tool for work-related operations. Our technology team manages a fleet of approximately 1200 to 1300 Dell laptops. On a day-to-day basis, we use Dell Enterprise Laptops to help our end users by tracking tickets, answering help desk calls through a softphone, managing email, and accessing various systems. Dell Enterprise Laptops are the main tool we use for our day-to-day operations, with only our mobile phones being secondary to them.

My team works 10-hour shifts, four days a week, and we are on call in the evening, so we may be using Dell Enterprise Laptops on overnight calls as well as weekend support because we also assist our users on Saturdays.

The best feature that Dell Enterprise Laptops offer is ease of use. I very much enjoy the touchscreen capability and love that you can flip it to open the laptop all the way over and make it a tablet. I have found that the touchscreen option is something I use heavily.

The touchscreen on Dell Enterprise Laptops helps in case I undock and walk around with my laptop and forget my mouse because sometimes you forget to grab things. The ease of going back and forth between browser tabs, into emails, opening up chats, and navigating through all means of Dell Enterprise Laptop is very useful.

Dell Enterprise Laptops have positively impacted my organization. About 90% of our fleet are Dell laptops or desktops, and I would even say 98% of our fleet. We have a very small percentage of folks who use Macs, but other than that, all our users seem to be very happy with Dell laptops.

I do not have specifics on how Dell Enterprise Laptops can be improved at the moment. If we want beefier, stronger laptops, it would just be a matter of ordering the next model up, which we do have those options between Pros and Pro Maxes.

The machines do get a little hot. I believe that has been worked on in the current models based on a presentation I saw about how the new models have boards that have been manufactured to better the airflow on the laptops based on the overheating issue that many people have spoken to Dell about. From personal experience, we are still dealing with overheating issues. While I did see the presentation about how Dell is combating the overheating based on the airflow of the laptops, we do not currently have that, so we have not put that theory into practice.

I have been using Dell Enterprise Laptops for nine years.

At times, the laptops have been the main issue that I have experienced, but I am curious what future models will present. Dell Enterprise Laptops are stable.
