What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I have not had any trouble with stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We have thirty people in our office and they have different devices such as laptops and smartphones. There are normally around 100 connections at a time.
How are customer service and support?
I have been in contact with online support from the community and it is quite good.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have also used Aruba and Cisco Meraki wireless but the cost is higher with those solutions.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is a little bit complex.

This solution is reasonably priced.
What other advice do I have?
This is a good product and I have already recommended it to two of my colleagues.
Overall, I am satisfied with the product but it would be great if the signal strength was a little bit higher.

It was difficult to get diagnostic info as there is no "console" or serial communications.

The product is slightly unstable.

I suspect it does not scale to large deployment or very dense environments, but to be fair I have not done more than 5 at a location.
How are customer service and technical support?
The technical support is poor. Just a chat window. No actual person to talk with.

I implement many different vendors' equipment as I work for an integrator.
What about the implementation team?
I am the integrator.

Yes, Ubiquiti uses a concept called adoption. AP's disappear from management software frequently and the only way to re-adopt AP's is to do a hard reset of the device.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Yes, with some users, the internet connection drops.

3bumen, but it's worse.

How has it helped my organization?
Ubiquiti WLAN has allowed us to deploy Wi-Fi as a vast service to allow the customer to get a feel for our internet and then come and purchase the service. We have also deployed Wi-Fi to over fifty government institutions and provided it as a CSR, which improves the lives of students.

Ubiquiti WLAN's most valuable features are that it works well in a hybrid environment and isn't heavy on resources.

Ubiquiti WLAN only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi radio and would be improved by including support for 5GHz.

How was the initial setup?
Ubiquiti WLAN's initial setup is straightforward. You won't have an issue if you know how to use the web-based controller. I haven't had any issues with the solution's setup. When I first started using it, it was like a different language, but once you learn it, it's easy.
What about the implementation team?
Ubiquiti WLAN's deployment does not take long.
To deploy Ubiquiti WLAN, you have to first open the controller on your laptop. If everything's wired up and shows up on the controller, you adopt it, add the passwords, and name the access points.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend Ubiquiti WLAN to other users.
Overall, I rate Ubiquiti WLAN ten out of ten.
