Jira Align Reviews

I used Jira Align when I was working with CACI. We use Jira Align to build and manage workflows, which allows each team to understand their work.

Jira Align helps us manage communication and tasks for a variety of teams without overlap.

I like how things can be sorted out, and it shows the different objectives one can do. You could also create a team view that would allow your team to see work outcomes. Jira Align also helps with the reporting, because we can export data to Excel or another format.

The workflows are scalable from portfolio to individual level but can sometimes be complex to navigate.

I used Jira Align for about a year.

It was very stable, and I liked the refresh rate. I know a lot of it also depends on personal network connectivity, but it instantly updates changes.

When you sign in, you will see the different objectives that you would have, and then it would show you bigger objectives, your status, who was using it, and what they completed and what wasn't. If there are linked topics that were part of it, then it will show the aligned tasks.

The support team was very helpful, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Also, when you visit their forum page, they have a chat thread where you can look up problems or questions with other users and get answers from there.

I wasn't part of the initial setup, but the setup was easy when I got access to Jira Align. It was easy to personalize after I signed in, and I could put in my icon, picture, background picture, and thumbnail. So it is easily customizable and you can set up your page. With that, it was easy for all teams to organize their profiles.

The pricing wasn't something they exposed me to because the business development team handled it.

I primarily use Jira Slight to perform agility at scale, a method where you connect businesses with operations, which helps connect the enterprise strategy to the operations. 

Jira Align's most valuable features are the roadmap, the program board, and the reports.

One area for improvement is that Jira Align's double menu and multiple menus can be difficult for new users. They could also improve their search function.

Jira Align is stable and improving all the time.

Jira Align is scalable, with special policies for licenses so you can have a lot of people using it.

Jira's technical support is really helpful, available, and quick to respond.

The initial setup can be straightforward, but it depends on the availability of Atlassian for technical support. The time required for deployment depends on the user's requirements, taking anywhere from one to six months.

Jira Align is quite expensive for small-to-medium companies, but it's quite reasonable for larger ones.

Jira Align is good for project owners and managers and Release Train Engineers because it offers them more visibility. I would recommend Jira Align for those with scale agile use cases and advise getting some training on the tool in order to get the best use from it. I would give Jira Align a rating of nine out of ten, as it's one of the best tools for scaling agile use cases.

We use Jira for scrum-related activity and 80 people use this solution within our company. 

In my current organization, there are limited features that we have adopted. In my previous experience, the Portfolio and Structure feature in Jira is really valuable because it assists with forecasting for projects. 

We have experienced errors with the internal server that occurs frequently. 

I have been using this solution for eight years. 

This is a stable solution. I would rate it an eight out of ten. 

In my previous organization, I contacted the Jira support team for a particular feature and they suggested that we upgrade Jira because there was a bug in that particular version. After upgrading, the issue was resolved.

Jira offers very good GUI. The solution is easy to learn and there is a lot of functionality related to boards and project management-related activities that is offered. There is also good synergy between all the Atlassian products which is why we decided to switch to Jira. 

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten for pricing. The price of the solution depends on the number of people using it and the projects you are working on.

This is an enterprise-level solution for management to track their capabilities or features. I'm a Jira developer and we are customers of the company. 

Align enables the capture of all capabilities and that's its best feature. It's easy for management to track everything inside of that.

The synchronization between Jira and Jira Align takes too long and that is something that they could work on. 

The solution is stable.

The solution is scalable, we have around 1200 plus users.

We have two technical guys from Atlassian, who connect with us weekly and they are very helpful. 

The initial setup is straightforward. 

This is a good solution for enterprise-level organizations. Before starting with Jira Align it's important to configure Jira as a standalone. It has to be configured as per Atlassian best practices so, for example, you can't create a board with multiple projects, because there will be synchronization issues. Things like custom fields cannot be migrated to Jira Align. Some fields are not available. It's possible that in later versions they have provided all these features.

I have been using Jira Align for approximately one year.

Jira Align is highly stable because it is on the cloud.

The scalability of Jira Align is very good.

I have used technical support many times.

I would rate the support from Jira Align a four out of five.

Jira Align is very complex software. It's necessary that the customer have a good experience and understanding of Agile to be able to implement and scale it.

I rate the initial setup difficulty of Jira Align a two out of five.

I have had to have advisors in the executive teams to maintain the activity in the solution. We have five people that maintain the software.

My advice to others wanting to implement the solution is to have a lot of Agile experience.

I rate Jira Align an eight out of ten.

My company is a partner of Atlassian, a Jira vendor. We deploy the solution through a public cloud.

Some of the most valuable features are the configurations and dashboards.

I have not had any issues with Jira Align.

I have been using Jira Align and Jira Service Management for two years. 

The stability of this solution is fine.

The scalability of Jira is fine.

Deployment was very complex.

My company does installations and implementations for Jira.

The software is very good, but the price is expensive. Our licensing costs are on a monthly basis, but there are no additional costs to the standard license fees.

I have also evaluated ServiceNow ITBM, but I believe that Jira Align is better.

I would rate this solution 7 out of 10 because of the price.

I mainly use Jira Align for planning apps in the department.

Jira Align's most valuable feature is the view of strategic control reports for high-level directors.

Jira Align's setup process could be more straightforward, and they could make training and educational documentation more accessible. In the next release, I would like to see an improvement to the navigation system.

Jira Align's technical support is good but limited - there are people in my department with more experience.

The initial setup was of medium difficulty, and I needed to find support documents to complete it.
