Reliable, easy to set up and to deploy
Pros and Cons
  • "It's stable for the most part. It's working fine."
  • "The connection with the Apple product could be better."

What is our primary use case?

The primary use case is to have an operational system that I can connect with my SAP logon so that I can do my job.

What is most valuable?

It's stable for the most part. It's working fine.

What needs improvement?

The connection with the Apple product could be better.

The integration could be improved.

The internet page is a bit difficult, the browser is not the best on the market, and it's not the fastest.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Windows 10 since it was released on the market.

We are using the latest version, and it's up-to-date.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It's a stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Windows 10 is scalable.

We have approximately 30 users in our organization.

How are customer service and technical support?

I have not contacted technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously, I worked with all other Windows, except for Millennium and Windows 98.

I switched because there was no more support available and no optics.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was easy and it took approximately 15 minutes to deploy.

At this time, we require only one person to maintain this solution. As we grow, we may require more.

What about the implementation team?

I completed the installation on my PC myself.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

There are yearly costs.

For my home computer it's a lifetime license, only purchased once.

What other advice do I have?

I plan to continue using Windows 10.

For any who is interested in using this solution, my advice would be don't buy an Apple first.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

What needs improvement?

It would be nice to see more robust security features in the next release.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been personally using Windows 10 for more than 20 years.

The only maintenance required involves regular updates.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

While the licensing costs of Windows 10 certainly exceed those of other operating systems, as far as the product, its performance and its wide range of usage goes, it is fine. It's worth the price.

The reason we incur a cost in excess of the licensing fee is because we pay for Premium support, which is fine by us.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

The UI, user interface, sets Windows 10 apart from other solutions.

What other advice do I have?

The solution is deployed on my computer, laptop and in the cloud.

There are more than 10,000 people making use of the solution in our organization.

I rate Windows 10 as a nine out of ten.

A flexible and stable solution with good performance, but updates should be faster and easier
Pros and Cons
  • "The performance works very well and the solution is flexible and stable."
  • "The updates are excessively long and take an entire hour during startup, which is ridiculous."

What is our primary use case?

We are using the latest version.

I use the solution as an operating system for my notebook.

What is most valuable?

The performance works very well and the solution is flexible and stable.

What needs improvement?

The updates are excessively long and take an entire hour during startup, which is ridiculous. The solution also does not provide the option of installing updates. There should be an option to restart without needing an update.

I don't like the problem with the updates. The user must restart after downloading an update, but no option is given to do the installation at a later point. This means that the user is faced with the choice of either restarting when he updates or shutting down when he does so. With the former this can take an hour to an hour-and-a-half. This makes no sense.

In short, the updates could be faster and better performing.

While Microsoft does a good job, this is an issue which must be addressed.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Windows 10 since its release in 2015.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is scalable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I don't have any issues with the technical support. It's good.

How was the initial setup?

The installation is very easy.

It takes no more than a few minutes.

What about the implementation team?

I handled the implementation on my own. \

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We already have a license for Windows 10 in our role as Microsoft partners.

Good customization and good from a technical perspective but is difficult for non-technical users
Pros and Cons
  • "The customization of the solution is easy."

What is our primary use case?

I primarily use the solution for work purposes.

What is most valuable?

From a technical perspective, it's very good.

The customization of the solution is easy.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability of the solution is very good. We don't have issues with bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's good and reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution can scale well. If a company needs to scale it, it should be able to do so without a problem.

We have about ten people using the product currently.

How are customer service and technical support?

I've never directly contacted technical support, therefore, I can't speak to their level of knowledge or responsiveness.

How was the initial setup?

It's my understanding that the initial setup is not straightforward. It's a bit difficult.

If I recall correctly, the deployment process took about two weeks.

What other advice do I have?

We're a seller of Microsoft and we also use the product as well. In our country, one of the main products is Microsoft and many businesses use it.

I don't really have enough experience to really make a strong recommendation for the solution.

Overall, I would rate the solution six out of ten. We don't use it so much.
