Have faced persistent configuration issues and performance delays that slow down large workflows
From a developer's perspective, it could be more open for programming language configurations. It is currently restricted to Groovy scripting. While UI and UX designs are open to JavaScript configurations, there are restrictions on certain functions that can be used. The solution could be enhanced to better serve customers when dealing with complex programs. The customer's websites face issues with loading properly, and response time gets longer when implementing larger workflows. This could be improved to achieve lower response times even with larger workflows involving multiple system integrations and complex architecture. The agent decay capabilities need improvement in future releases. Currently, there are some agent decay configurations available for developers to implement, but this area needs enhancement. Performance issues exist in the Sandbox area. The Sandbox is a trial area for configurations, but if work continues for a long time without publishing, it tends to get corrupted, requiring deletion and rework from the ground up. This has caused significant rework and effort multiple times. Technical support can be challenging to work with. When facing product-related issues or configuration problems, the support experience varies. Sometimes the technical support is knowledgeable and helpful, but often they redirect problems elsewhere and cause delays in resolution.

Useful to access data anytime and helpful in generating reports quickly
Speaking about the product's ability to improve sales processes, I would say that even though the tool offers project management capabilities along with ERP functionalities, my company doesn't use it for project management or HR-related areas. My company majorly uses the tool for finance, logistics, and inventory control. I haven't had the need for my company to not integrate the tool with other products. Though my company uses the product separately, we can export Sage CRM into Excel, after which the data can be integrated with other software products. Though the tool can be integrated with other products, my company doesn't do it because Sage CRM is enough for us. The analytical reporting part of the business product is good. The analytical reporting part of the product is used for financial years, along with the profit and loss reports and inventory reports. For the sales part in our company, we use the analytical reports generated by the product to help the sales people in a region-wise, sales-wise and product-wise manner. In my company, one of the teams will be changing from Sage CRM to Microsoft Dynamics. I recommend the product to others who plan to use it, especially since it is a tool suitable for medium-sized companies and not for enterprise-sized businesses. Medium-sized companies can use the product since it is an economical and reliable tool. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Uses data-driven insights to improve workflows and highlights a need for simpler automation tools
Salesforce Sales Cloud can be improved in several areas. First, the UI is an area for enhancement. Even though they've launched Lightning, it's clunky at times with page load speeds. It also needs to be made extremely more user-friendly. For new people using Salesforce Sales Cloud, there is a steep learning curve. Additionally, giving non-admins the ability to make changes on the fly is something that I feel is necessary. Currently with Salesforce Sales Cloud, you need to have a consultant. It's hard to build the flows or workflows. Making it easier for that end-user who's not so technically minded to help themselves is essential. I choose seven out of ten because I think you need a consultant or a consulting company to help you build it out. Certain changes should be made much easier and more user-friendly where an admin can do it. The automation processes need to be much simpler. If you're looking at other tools out there, for example SalesLoft or HubSpot, it's much easier to build those workflows and do automation.
