I used the service, which includes the email gateways and the email archiver.

The most valuable feature is the gateway. I've been using it for years and with different companies.

When we got the service, it included the email archiver with unlimited storage. That is a bonus and it's perfect for us.

I would like to see better integration with other products.

I have used Barracuda Essentials for a long time and it's a great product.

It was implemented in this company this year.

Stability-wise, this product has always been solid.

We are a small organization, with fewer than 200 users.

There is no need to increase our usage of this product at this time.

The support has always been great.

I was originally using a solution from Symantec. However, when Broadcom bought them out, the support was horrific and I had to drop the product.

This product is very easy to deploy. If you know how to work with your MX records and email, it's easy. We have not needed support of any kind.

We set it up ourselves as soon as we got it.

It doesn't require much maintenance. I sparingly administrate it. For example, I look at a couple of things but I don't have 

Price-wise, this product is middle-of-the-road. I'm sure that there are cheaper solutions.

I suggest negotiating either at the end of their fiscal year or at the end of every quarter. At the end of the quarter, they have an incentive to lower the prices to sell as many units as possible in order to meet their end-of-quarter quota.

Barracuda is one of my favorite vendors. They are top-notch.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

We use the solution to protect against phishing, impersonation, or spam emails.

The solution's most valuable feature is impersonation detection. This feature helps users determine whether an email is legitimate because the tool scans it before it reaches the user. The solution helps identify a person impersonating another person, a decision-maker, or a CEO.

Barracuda Email Protection has one technology called Sentinel that helps stop various email threats, such as spam, impersonation, phishing attacks, and spoofing attacks.

The technology works on a supervised engine, but it would be better if it ran on an unsupervised engine.

I have been using Barracuda Email Protection for more than two years.

Our customers are happy with the solution's stability, and we haven't received any complaints from them.

I rate the solution ten out of ten for stability.

The solution's scalability depends upon your licenses, which range from 0 to 50 to 0 to 10,000. More than 50 of my customers are using the solution. Barracuda Email Protection is suitable for small, medium, and enterprise businesses.

The solution's technical support team is well-qualified and knows what the technology does.

Barracuda helps our organization prevent data breaches more efficiently than Microsoft with a simpler interface. It provides an easy process for administrators like myself to manage and configure settings.

The product’s most valuable feature is email notification.

Barracuda Email Protection’s fraud detection capabilities prove beneficial in classifying spam into different terminologies. It is easy to integrate with IT infrastructure and different software such as Microsoft Exchange.

I recommend it to others and rate it an eight out of ten.

Barracuda Essentials is used for anyone that wants to protect their email. It helps with protecting against spam, malware, and encrypting your email messages. This is an option with all the email messages. They have other add-ons which use artificial intelligence to protect you against fishing attempts. 

They have employee training against email phishing attempts. There are nice packages of other options that can be added to Barracuda Essentials.

The most valuable features of Barracuda Essentials are it's a trusted name and is rated very high on review sites. It blocks high percentages of spam and junk email and it's in the cloud. They have hardware appliances, but this is in the cloud. The solution is very effective at blocking malware and blocking spam and this is what we are looking for. There's not a whole lot of complexity, you want a solution that is very good at blocking out all of the unwanted emails. 

Barracuda Essentials is doing a good job at adding more features. They have a solution that will, through artificial intelligence, track email messages, and determine who's trying to spoof your emails. This is provided by the Advanced package of the solution.

You want the ability to manage your own inbox and be able to whitelist and blacklist various email messages, they have a good user management interface for doing that. The people that are managing this can see harmful messages from a central console. 

Barracuda Essentials can improve by continually adding more features.

I have been using Barracuda Essentials for approximately three years.

Barracuda Essentials is highly scalable, we can scale it up into the thousands.

Barracuda Essentials does a very good job for both mid-market and enterprise clients. We've been deploying it across small, mid-size, and a number of enterprise clients.

The technical support is fabulous we work with them a lot. I have found the support exceptional.

The initial setup is simple, it can be done within 15 to 30 minutes.

We will deploy the Barracuda Essentials, and then based on what the client's staffing size is in their IT department, they will either manage it or ask us to manage it. It all depends upon the level of staffing that they have.

Barracuda Essentials is ranked on all of the various surveys, very high against Microsoft, Mimecast, Proofpoint, and Barracuda's right at the top of the list. Traditionally, when they do these surveys, Barracuda's very high.

My advice to others is, if they look at the entire package that Barracuda has, which includes Essentials, it includes a product called Sentinel, and PhishLine. If you take those three things, they are now renamed and called Premium. I don't see any other email security solution that stacks up against them.

We are a solution provider and Barracuda Essentials is one of the security products that we implement for our clients.

The most valuable features are security and ease of use.

This solution adapts to changes as required, which is important.

It is easy to customize compared to other products.

The email encryption could be improved.

I would like to see some additional functionality in terms of employee monitoring, as part of a work-from-home security solution. It would make the protection and capability more comprehensive.

We have been working with Barracuda Essentials for about a year.

I have been using this product and it is quite stable.

It is a scalable solution. We support about 60 people who are using it, of which one or two are administrators and the remainder are end-users.

The technical support is good and we have not had any challenges with them.

Prior to Barracuda, we worked with Symantec Email Security. After this, we tried Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection. We found Barracuda to be more efficient, easy to use, and customizable. Cost-wise, it is also better.

The initial setup is straightforward and it can be completed within a few hours.

The price of Barracuda Essentials is better than some of the competing products.

This is definitely a product that I recommend.

The solution's graphical user interface (GUI) could be improved visually. The solution should enable users to view more details in the dashboard.

The solution can be improved in terms of performance including web content filtering, and network configuration for better protection and enhanced functionality on mobile devices, including Android and iOS.
