Zapier Benefits
Like in Pipedream, if users don't want to rely on custom codes, Zapier ensures that it fires one to ten records a day that users need to move or transform data. Zapier is made a lot simpler, considering the use cases for which the product is built, so that users can deal with and ensure that it provides better quality easily.
I build out integrations for my clients and we can track how many tasks, clicks, or inputs Zapier can save. It saved them millions of clicks which prevented them from having to hire more and more people. My clients spend $80,000 to $200,000 a year on each employee's salary. If I can make it more efficient for them to use Insightly by implementing Zapier Automation all throughout our system, all modules, leads, opportunities, projects, contacts, organizations, and taking advantage of tracking time, then they don't have to hire someone else because that expert-level employee is doing accounting work or tax work and doesn't have to make them 20 clicks to get something done. It is already right there. Clients know when that employee is having trouble based on the time they need to complete a task. Zapier triggers an alert and says this employee needs help on this specific task. It comes in all forms of how it helps the business because it's really general automation.

Zapier has allowed me to integrate between two different platforms a lot quicker than if I had to manually write APIs or Webhooks.
I'm open to using it when there's a use case for it. If something can be handled with QuickDesk pipelines, I would prefer to use that because the client is typically already paying for Quickbase, which includes pipelines. However, if there's a situation where Zapier is better suited, such as having a built-in integration that pipelines don't offer, I would consider using Zapier. Currently, I don't have any specific plans in mind.

With the previous CRM we were using – the Google Ads landing pages we had – we were collecting leads manually. That process was not efficient and took a sales team a lot of time to insert these leads manually. Currently, the process is smooth and we use Zapier to collect the leads for us.

View full review »It can do many things. But for this use case, we had summer school classes for sale.
We needed to have student purchases and detailed information about their children pop up from our CRM database (Infusionsoft) to a Google Sheet document that everyone could see.
We needed each different class to pop onto a different sheet so the teachers could then start preparing for the students.
We webhooked (HTTP posted) information from Infusionsoft straight to Zapier and it redirected information into Google Sheets.

We can set up marketing automation processes for our clients in a much faster way. Our marketing personnel can do it. We don't need programmers to build complex code.
View full review »Improved communication and efficiency through interconnection of instant messaging, email, CRM, ERP and ticket management systems is the main output of using Zapier at Glispa.
Glispa doubled its number of employees last year and this brought a challenge of scaled communication. It was easy to be on the same page when you work in one comparatively small team, but when you have two hundred people with different goals it is hard to be aligned and deliver the best for our clients. However, there are tools which can help teams to be on the same page such email, instant messaging services or CRM tools. The drawback of all these systems is that they are usually independent and updates in one of them will not be seen in another.
With Zapier we tried to connect them and it worked out really well. One of the basic examples can be automation that we use to onboard our customers and handover from sales to account management team. When a sales manager moves his or her deal to the "setup" stage in CRM system with Zapier we send notification to responsible account managers on Slack. If certain crucial information was omitted in a deal, another Zapier automation will send a pre-filled Google form to the sales manager with a request to fill the gaps. When it is done, the account manager gets a nice and shiny handover form and is able to act in a timely manner. Moreover, a respective account is automatically created for the new customer in our ERP system, thus saving the account manager's time.

View full review »Our business is an online travel agency. We have created some Zaps that automatically create Zendesk tickets when a booking is made. We also receive Pushover messages in our smartphones when a booking is made or when there are errors.

One way it improved how we function is that a message posted to a particular Slack channel can become a to-do with the tool Trello. We also take alerts from Autopilot and use that to trigger a Slack message for our sales team to follow up with a particular customer. We also connect an Excel sheet with a Trello card for our car inspections. There are many uses for operations, marketing, and sales.

View full review »Digging further into the tool integrations, we can use the data from one tool we use, connect it with Zaps to another tool to execute data-driven actions.
One example is the user behaviour on our SaaS-platform.
We can make segments with users that show specific behaviour on the platform. With Zapier, we can connect them to mailing tools for delivering specific, targeted content. This means no more mass mailing.

View full review »We use both Marketo and Eventbrite, but there's no direction integration between the two platforms. Even before Marketo became available on Zapier, we were able to use the WebHooks option to feed Eventbrite registrations into Marketo at near-real-time speed. This automated a previously manual process of transferring data from one system into another.

- As an SaaS business, client onboarding is a crucial part of our workflow. Zapier makes it a lot easier for us to create sales (Pipedrive) to CRM (Autopilot) integrations, as well as setting up the necessary push notifications (Slack), so all team members get constant updates about what’s happening.
- This allows the team to be more transparent and accountable as everyone knows who’s doing what and everyone is on the same page.
More automation means less manual work, and improved efficiency for me.

On a personal level, I used Zapier to automate otherwise tedious and manual tasks. For example, my team maintains the Help Center and we collect feedback on how the content could be improved. One way is that whenever someone wants to suggest an improvement, they can do it by answering a few questions in a Typeform. When they submit the Typeform, a Trello card is generated via a Zap that I have set up, so it is added to our backlog.
View full review »It allowed us to create integrations between our own proprietary operations tool, and a variety of other tools like Salesforce, Slack, and HubSpot. Zapier, combined with MailParser, is an essential element of our back-end operations. It allows us to maintain dynamic datasets about customers and sales without a ton of overhead.
View full review »For example, in Pipedrive, you do not get a notification when a deal is added via a web form. With Zapier, you can do that. (This feature is being implemented in Pipedrive in the near future, but right now Zapier has a good workaround.)
