In the beginning, the functionality of Fortify WebInspect was clear and uncomplicated. The transaction recorder within WebInspect is easy to use, which is valuable for our team.

Fortify WebInspect allows us to scan most file extensions, even for packages or workloads created on the cloud. 

It is easy to use, and its reporting is fairly simple. Additionally, it effectively removes false positives quickly, leading to better reporting.

There are many features that we find valuable in Fortify WebInspect. For example, Fortify's security scan reports, especially the initial fast scan, which assesses the functional application for security testing, have been critical. Given the priority of security vulnerabilities for all deliverables, the alignment with top ten vulnerabilities standards and its ability to detect even complex vulnerabilities is invaluable.

This is crucial when scanning web applications because we need to input information like usernames and passwords to uncover vulnerabilities that appear after logging in. WebInspect has the ability to scan an application and find vulnerabilities in the early stages of development. It also integrates with some of the applications as a part of the developing tool itself. It's a very good feature. 

We like that we can see the request and response and create our own requests and see those responses. 

There are lots of small settings and tools, like an HTTP editor, that are very useful.

It is mostly stable.

The vulnerability management part of it is very easy. We can suppress or comment on each vulnerability and assign a vulnerability to an individual risk owner, which makes the work easy.

The FPA and Audit Workbench are very helpful for me. When we are integrating it with SSC, we're able to scan and trace and see all of the vulnerabilities. Comparison is easy in SSC.

It's very detailed with examples for each vulnerability. It's very good for the users and beginners. It doesn't take a lot of time to understand the tool.

The accuracy of its scans is great. Provided it does not freeze, or somebody from another team is not trying to use the same resources, it works well.
