My main use case for iCIMS Recruit is candidate management, which I relied on most when I hired for my team and needed to screen potential candidates.
We are using iCIMS Recruit for our talent acquisition process. When I had job openings on my team, I used it together with my talent acquisition specialist to open the job internally and later externally, to optimize the job description, and then to filter possible candidates. I provided feedback before and after interviews were conducted, placed an offer for the final candidate, and managed all of that process until we decided to hire the right fit.
Collaborating with my talent acquisition specialist within the platform worked well. Compared to the previous software that I used at a prior company, I preferred this one simply because collaboration is much easier to conduct. There is full transparency on the visible and private notes for a profile, which made things very easy for me to manage feedback with other interviewers. The templates are very intuitive and easy to fill in, and people who interview, especially leadership, do not want to spend time and energy filling in forms. The forms that we created were so straightforward and easy to use that we got feedback from senior leadership and external interviewees in a timely manner.
Overall, I am very happy with iCIMS Recruit. Obviously, it has its weaknesses, and I would love to have the option for customizing more as a hiring manager, but that might be linked to my role not being a full talent acquisition specialist. I am happy with the product, and it helps me filter qualified candidates out of a large pool of applicants by using keywords. The forms that we put together were very intuitive and easy to fill in, which made a difference during a period where we were interviewing and hiring a lot.
The features iCIMS Recruit offers that stand out the most for me include the offer management functionality. Compared to the previous software that we were using, the workflow is very transparent, and I love the fact that I get notifications on every single movement in the offer workflow. I know who viewed the document, who is processing it, and who approved it, which is crucial since we require many approvers throughout the process. This aspect came as a pleasant surprise, and the workflows in general are easy to automate, allowing for collaboration with talent acquisition and leadership.
The notifications and workflow transparency impacted my day-to-day work positively, as they helped me manage candidate expectations well, especially since I work for a private SaaS company where image and reviews online are very important. HR has been investing throughout the year in revamping the talent acquisition and recruitment process, and this tool has helped me support them in that. I believe we offer a very good candidate experience compared to other companies using different software. As the hiring manager interviewing many candidates in a short time span, this tool helped me manage our process as we interviewed roughly fifteen individuals in about three weeks.
iCIMS Recruit has positively impacted my organization, and although we did not migrate from a prior platform in our company, it has helped us manage the hiring process from end to end during a period where we were conducting many interviews with multiple candidates.
It is hard to say how iCIMS Recruit can be improved because, from my position, there was nothing beforehand. The entire talent acquisition team is very happy with the results, and moving from manual processes to something automated that provides workflows and notifications leads to seeing only the positives. I am certain it has some weaknesses, but I think the software is great for our needs.
One element that would have been more helpful was filtering candidates more efficiently. I was looking for specific criteria in candidates' resumes or their cover letters because we had a high volume of applicants, around three hundred to four hundred plus for one position, which is incredibly hard to filter. I was getting granular, looking for candidates with five years of experience in specific software, and I wish I could have added more criteria in my filtering instead of filtering one by one. More customization or filtering options in the tool would be useful when dealing with a high volume of applicants.
I have been using iCIMS Recruit for almost two years.
iCIMS Recruit is stable in my experience.
iCIMS Recruit has scalable capabilities and has been able to handle growing needs or larger volumes smoothly.
I have used a different solution personally, but at this organization, there was no solution prior to iCIMS Recruit.
iCIMS Recruit is deployed in our organization according to how it was implemented, as our technical team handled that.

I have seen time saved, as I touched on in my previous responses. I cannot currently share money saved, but I believe that saving time also correlates to saving money.
Rippling was one of the software options demoed before choosing iCIMS Recruit, and Greenhouse was another option. There was indeed a third vendor, but I forgot which one.
