We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It keeps my passwords organized and safe.""I like the tool's keyword editor and SSO.""The chat support is quick. I have never encountered any problems. On the contrary, they have been very helpful and kind.""It is nice to be able to use my Touch ID and have access to all my passwords in one place.""Enables IT department to force very complex passwords for certain users.""It is very easy to use, intuitive, and cost effective.""Available for Windows platforms and also Mac OS and Linux systems.""Possibility to login using the fingerprint sensor on Android/iPhone."

"You can quickly deploy the entire product with a basic config within couple of hours.""Symantec Siteminder Is both scalable and stable.""IWA is an out-of-the-box feature. The SAML-based federation is standard for all tools. However, CA Single Sign-On has made the federation configuration way too simple and handy to set up and use.""The single sign-on is the solution's most valuable feature""It provides the breadth and the width to provide solutions for the different kinds of technologies which we have.""Authentication & Authorization are important because all the sites need authentication for security purposes. That has been handled pretty well all these years with SSO.""Right now, federation that comes out-of-the-box with single sign-on is the most valuable feature that we have, and also scalability.""Ease of use is very good, for administrating it. It's very well known."

More Symantec Siteminder Pros →

"The most valuable feature is the option to use SSO from different sources such as Microsoft AD, ADFS, Azure AD, SAML, form-based, etc.""The Single Sign-On capabilities are endless and we haven't found a single app so far that couldn't be set up for SSO.""Now we can easily control who has access to which client or client application.""You don't need to be a specialist in Identity and Access Management solutions to understand the software and configure it."

Cons
"They could possibly add a pre-designed contact feature that would work similar to a cell phone contact feature.""Ability to store 'files' from IOS & Android devices. You can store pics from these devices currently. Most file formats can be uploaded from PC's/Macs""The stability of the solution can be improved.""I would like to see a way to store files and photos in the next update. If it already does this, I have yet to explore it.""The technical support has no experience.""The organization of items needs improvement. For example, when I log onto the cloud version as well, everything is shown on my folder. It is hard to differentiate between files and documents in my list of items I have stored inside.""Ability to set up password profiles that can predefine custom fields and password complexity.""The technical support for this solution could be faster support and improved if they had a better understanding of my questions."

More Keeper Cons →

"I would like to see a move towards the newer technologies, which is what we are doing right now. I think that's in the roadmap that's coming, in the 12.8 and 14 releases, but we would like to have it sooner than later.""The initial setup was complex, painful. But that is to be expected of any new setup. When you're a big bank like us, any kind of migration to a new product is hard. I expect it to be painful, and it was painful. But it's not something that you can avoid.""Some of the new protocols, like OAuth 2.0, could be improved.""The support could be faster.""The GUIs are not very clear, especially when integrating with other products from CA.""Better documentation. I went through some sessions on single sign-on for version 12.7.""The technical support could be better.""The Federation part of CA Single Sign On, it's a bit complex to implement because it involves the SSL certificates, exchange of certificates, and lot of technical details. The documentation misses some important parts of this, so that's the reason it took some time for us to go live."

More Symantec Siteminder Cons →

"Integration with other Tools4ever applications such as SSRPM and IAM would be nice.""When something needs to be changed with the sign-on policies, we have to apply this manually to every client environment that we have.""I would like to have the built-in provisioning module improved.""Sometimes it generates a username that is not unique, but at the time of this writing, it is not possible to generate a new one that is unique."

  • "Pricing might be a little less, but with promo codes and family plan - best offer"
  • "It's definitely worth it and affordable. Their sales team can definitely help scale your needs on licensing and provide pricing options."
  • "Just buy the yearly subscription."
  • "Its cost is relative to the value of the information stored in Keeper."
  • "ROI is hard to know, but it has to be several times the expense of the product."

  • "The price is quite comparable to the other enterprise-level solutions in that market."
  • "I recommend conducting a PoC on every available product before choose one."
  • "CA solutions are generally expensive but for the customer the ROI is big."
  • "Symantec Siteminder is expensive; they could definitely do better on the price."
  • "The licensing is fair for this solution."
  • "Siteminder is a little costly. You pay for licensing, and they offer packages, so if you have less users, then you have to buy different products at different prices. If you have more of a user base, then the package is different. They also include other features—for example, if you have a database and you're using Siteminder, then it's good to use a Semantic-specific database, but if you are using less, then you have to purchase the database separately. Whereas if you are going for a bigger license, then it comes within the package. It depends on which plan you are using."
  • "The pricing is reasonable."
