I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR for the grooming industry. It is primarily utilized for the office environment.

We are integrators for clients in the SME segment. We evaluate different product lines, and we feel GravityZone performs well.

We set the product price-wise. The main criteria are price and performance. If it works well, we push it to the client.

So far, we haven't had any surprises. The product performs well compared to other products. It does not put a heavy burden on memory. It does what we want, even on systems with low resources.

The top priority is definitely security.  The second key aspect is browsing security.

One of its standout features is handling configuration and security at the endpoint level. For example, users can't just uninstall the endpoint software out of frustration because it requires a secure key that only the administrator can generate. This gives you a stronger level of control compared to other solutions. If an attempt is made to uninstall it, the admin receives a notification and can take appropriate action.

I had a situation where an employee on suspension tried to tamper with the endpoint security. Thanks to Bitdefender, I was immediately alerted, and I was able to prevent any potential data loss. When the employee returned to the office, he no longer had access.

The solution also excels in periodic and on-demand scanning, which helps remove unnecessary or potentially harmful applications. Recently, one of my client applications was flagged as malware by Bitdefender. I escalated the issue to the financial application's OEM to confirm it was safe. They provided me with the SOC reports for the year, which confirmed there was no malware. After rescanning, the issue was resolved, and I had the assurance I needed.

We use the platform for endpoint security across Windows and Mac operating systems. We are also considering extending its use to Linux endpoints to ensure comprehensive protection across all operating systems in our environment.

We have small, medium, and large enterprise customers. Some of our customers are government entities. They use the solution to have more visibility and early visibility.

Bitdefender GravityZone EDR can detect initial behaviors and the attack, identifying how the attacker targets the victim or impacts the environment. This capability aids in understanding if assets are vulnerable to attack. Additionally, it can map out how the attacker. If malicious behavior is detected, it can block the attacker's IP address for a specified period.

We use the solution as an EDR. We use it to encrypt hard disks. We also use its DLP capabilities.

I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR for security purposes. 

We use the solution to protect our servers, users, clients, desktops, mobiles, laptops, etc.

We use this solution for the protection of the endpoint inside the university. We use it on the general computer or VDI.

I use it on a daily basis. I use it primarily not only for the antivirus portion of it, but I also use the full EDR suite of it, which is the firewall maintenance and content control. Basically, I use it for a lot of content control in the firewall.

We offer Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra to our clients. GravityZone Ultra has features such as encryption. I can do anything from their simple core, which is just antivirus, to their complete MDR product if necessary. However, what I usually do is install core plus ATS with encryption and then integrate that with the SOC service so that you only have to look at the SOC interface to monitor the Bitdefender logs. Essentially, it streamlines the SOC.

It's a product from EDR. We are monitoring endpoints for malicious code. It's a basic antivirus. We are also looking for day-zero attacks and for anomalous behavior as well. That's it, ostensibly.

We are mainly using the solution for management because it contains a variety of different tools. For example, it has EDR and NTSA which are integrated into the solution enabling it to monitor threats on the network and the endpoint site. Additionally, we are using it because of the Patch Management encryption module tool. It essentially provides what we need in terms of our next-generation endpoint. 

We use this solution for advanced protection against threats for our endpoints.

Our customers use Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra for cybersecurity, to protect their environment, and to protect their data.

We use the solution to identify the source of the threat in case of a malware attack.

I primarily use the solution for server farms. 

I work in IT, so I'm an end user and an implementer of Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra for other end users. I'm using the software as an antivirus.

When we are trying to eliminate the virus from the endpoint, and we are making some policies to block a USB port, we use this solution. We can enable an anti-phishing policy on it. If someone reaches a website that is not good, we directly get a notification. 

We can see if there are patches or if the applications are good or not.

The solution is basically for endpoint security and, of course, at the server level.

Our primary use case for this product is prevention, rather than just detections. The solution prevented most APT (advanced persistent threat) attacks at pre-execution stage.  

The primary use of the solution is to obtain or to control all clients in only one place.

For example, with this, I can add patch management. For me, it's a good way to update the clients without, for example, a server from my company. I can manage the patch management for my clients from one simple central console.

We deploy GravityZone endpoint protection from the admin to every in-office machine, every utility machine, and then to each work-from-home machine that that attorney or paralegal uses when COVID-19 gets bad. There is a weekly centralized review. There is also response to alerts.

The solution is basically a firewall, antivirus, and anti-malware. It's got a heuristic module. It takes a lot of the same core technology that you see in GravityZone, however, with a decidedly more consumer-friendly face. 

We provide this solution for anyone from a single user at home wanting to protect their PC, right up to large banking institutions with thousands of users. It's all about protecting computers from malware, ransomware, viruses, and the like. We are in partnership with Bitdefender and we're distributors of the product, functioning as a managed service provider. I'm the managing director of the company. 

The way I have it configured for most of my clients is that I go through and I do an analysis of where they need to go from basically giving them absolutely no access. I literally block everything. Then I start opening up their modules for content control. It's for opening up and giving specific users specific access that they need on the internet. I try to go with the zero access approach. That's my main approach. And that's how I usually use it. Obviously I have a couple of clients that wanted everything open and then they wanted us to go backward and to leave everything open and start closing things once in a while if they saw a problem.

We are a distributor for Bitdefender in our country and GravityZone is one of the security products that we have experience with.

I use Bitdefender GravityZone EDR in my company to see if something abnormal is happening on PCs. When a hacker or anyone else is trying to do something on a PC or if they jump from one PC to another area in the IT infrastructure, and the antivirus or the endpoint protection tools cannot detect such activities, then EDR tools can be useful in such scenarios.

When there is a brute force attack or lateral movements within the network, EDR tools can detect it. EDR is very helpful for security operations in SOC. If anything abnormal is happening on a network or in the PC itself, then EDR becomes useful for protection.

We primarily use this solution for endpoint protection.

We use this solution for the anti-malware. We intend to replace Bitdefender with Windows Defender gradually. Bitdefender is deployed on all our endpoints.

The solution provides endpoint protection and very good security, both at the end point and supplier levels. The good thing about the Romanian-based company is that it is not politically affiliated, in contrast to certain other companies and this may be a factor when it comes to the implementation of Bitdefender Gravity Zone, a solution with a global presence. 

I primarily use this product for antivirus and anti-malware. It is a next-generation antivirus solution.

We have been reselling Bitdefender for over twelve years now. Our primary use case for this solution is for a microfinance bank. They wanted a solution that can deliver security in the cloud. In fact, there was no other antivirus partner or manufacturer that has enterprise security that is hosted in the cloud. When they came to us, we told them that we have a solution that can do that, which is Bitdefender GravityZone. We told them exactly what it does:

• You don't need to buy a separate server to deploy it, which is major savings for the bank. 
• It is hosted in the cloud. Because it is hosted in the cloud, you can deploy it in the cloud and you can monitor it from anywhere in the world, whether you are in the office or not. It gives you the stability to know which clients have been updated, which clients have not been updated, which ones have been attacked, and which endpoints have been attacked. 
• You can generate your report. You don't necessarily have to be in the office to have the network working. 

Now, the good thing also about that, apart from the savings and the ability to have the stability of your reports no matter where you are, is the fact that at any point in time, you can have a central policy setting. With that, you can set your policy centrally and from there you push to all your clients. Then also, you can generate your report. You don't necessarily have to be in the office to have the network working. 

What happens is that a desktop will be configured to be what they call a relay server. Then the relay server within your line goes to Bitdefender.com to pick up updates and every client on your network gets updates from the local system. What that means is that it reduces your internet calls. They were happy with that.

The client also wanted to know what happens when they're out of office. I explained that if you're out of the office, once you're connected to the internet, using anything the system goes straight to Bitdefender.com. With the first attempt to view the local server, if it's unable to see the local server, then it takes the second route, which is going to Bitdefender.com. They were very happy about that. They asked all about the issue of memory and performance on systems. I explained that the performance is very light because if it's light, the overhead on the systems is also very low. They were also satisfied with that. 

They asked me how to install on the server and not the desktop and I told them that it's exactly the same as a critical file that you push to boot the server and the desktop. The system is intelligent enough to know which operating system is running and it will handle that. 

Lastly, they asked what happens if they have an existing antivirus. Bitdefender has the ability to automatically uninstall any existing antivirus but we can't make any change on your registry.  

We helped them to do a POC, they were happy with it and after that, they purchased a license of around 2,500 users for two years.

We implemented it as an antivirus solution in our enterprise two months ago. It monitors and defends our endpoints against viruses and malware.
