We use the product for backing up local laptop fields, servers, workloads, and databases. It helps us meet compliance requirements with vulnerability scanning for endpoints and cloud infrastructure.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud provides unlimited backup features for Office 365 accounts.

They could support Linux OS primarily for servers and ideally for desktops, as large enterprises in our country often use Linux. Additionally, there could be a feature for data loss prevention.

We have been working with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud as a value-added service channel partner for five years.

It is a stable and reliable platform. The cloud services are always operational. We can always access the login board on any device if connected to the Internet. They let us know in advance during the data maintenance. It is easy to schedule backup attempts and automatically resume them after any scheduled maintenance periods. They always resolve the data center maintenance much before the time they indicate.

Our organization has around 30 to 40 Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud users.

The technical support services are great. The team is prompt to respond and is always accessible. We are a channel partner; we have direct access to their team. However, they are very responsive and professional.

We decided to work with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud as it was dependable and easy to use. The decision factor for us was ease of deployment. It has a low learning curve. We taught ourselves how to use the product by watching online training videos. We were able to implement the knowledge successfully. It helped us start the product quickly whenever we resell it for other customers.

It is the easiest product to deploy compared to Druva, Commvault, Veeam, and Quest.

The product generates a return on investment for us. These days, the data is vulnerable to ransomware attacks. Here, Acronis works as an insurance policy guaranteeing business continuity.

The product costs around 25$ per year for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 backup. It is a specialized price. If you go to the website, the price mentioned is much higher. However, Acronis works through channel partners such as ourselves. They share discounted prices, allowing us to pass better prices to our customers. Thus, they have an efficient enterprise-level licensing model. When we tested the scenario for over 20 employees, the cost was much lower than the other solutions in the market.

I recommend Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for individual users and enterprises as well. They protect the data in addition to backup. It is an advantageous feature for enterprises. In an enterprise setting, the usual challenge lies in managing multiple OEMs for different solutions, such as Symantec and Veeam, leading to many dashboards and complexities in vendor management. The wonderful aspect of Acronis is that they deliver all the components, from data backup to security, through a single agent. Whether online file storage, notarizing files, or disaster recovery options like Cloud Instant or bare metal recovery, they offer all essential functionality. They now provide EDR, antivirus, and remote support services as well. It is becoming a one-stop solution to manage a variety of IT needs for end customers.

I rate it a nine out of ten. I am very satisfied with the product and have no issues. However, there is always room for improvement.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it can cover both the cloud and the on-prem devices. From a performance point of view, it's a very good product that is very easy to use and covers many virtual environments.

I think the pricing part of the solution is very complicated, making it an area of concern where improvements are required.

The solution's deployment phase doesn't take much time, and it is something that depends on the environment where it is getting deployed. The deployment takes ten to fifteen minutes to be completed.

The product is not that expensive, making it a product that can be considered for purchase. I rate the product's price a four on a scale of one to ten, where one is expensive and ten is cheap.

The product's price depends on the environment of a business and the number of systems or types of devices used. There are no additional costs apart from the licensing fees attached to the solution.

Maintenance is required for the solution. As Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is a product based on cloud technology, it updates automatically.

We mainly use Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for backup. 

The main strengths of Acronis lie in its cost-effectiveness, user-friendly interface, and comprehensive services. Users find it easy to use without requiring extensive customer support for basic functions. Acronis offers secure data backup with added antivirus protection, making it a reliable choice. It's also notable for its flexibility, offering two models, per workload or per gigabyte, catering to various workstation needs and budget constraints. This unique feature is highly appreciated.

Acronis may claim it's due to security reasons, but I believe there should be an option to delete specific files from old backups stored on the Acronis Cloud. Currently, there is no such feature, and I strongly feel the need for a deletion option for erroneous backups.

I have been using Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for more than eight to nine months.

I would rate the stability seven out of ten. Acronis tends to generate alarms and alerts that sometimes result in misunderstandings. While I wouldn't call them false alarms, there's a need to address the discrepancies between these notifications. Occasionally, I receive alerts indicating that my backup is full, but upon investigation, the backup is not actually failing. Instead, issues like failed vulnerability assessments or antivirus scans are incorrectly linked to backup failures. This is a significant concern that requires attention.

I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten. 

Essentially, deploying this is a straightforward process, and just one or two technically proficient individuals are sufficient for the task. It's user-friendly, and various installation methods are available, including deployment via Active Directory on a local server. It's not a complex undertaking and can be managed by a small team. I would rate the initial setup seven out of ten.

Acronis is cost effective and I would rate the pricing a two out of ten. 

Acronis offers its storage and integrates with third-party solutions, providing antivirus and disaster recovery software. In comparison to Rui and other providers, Acronis stands out with a wide range of options. However, there's one issue with Acronis: the occasional downtime of their data centers for maintenance. This is a significant drawback, especially since data is crucial for customers, and the reliance on a single data center in India can lead to routing traffic to external data centers. This aspect should be improved.

I would rate the overall solution nine out of ten. 

We use the tool as a backup for the servers and endpoints. The tool is a complete solution that offers a single console and agent. It also offers email protection and patch management. 

I am impressed with the product's file-sharing feature. 

I would rate the product an eight out of ten. The tool needs to have better protection.  The tool should be also able to take backups while users are offline and upload to the cloud whenever the internet connection is restored or if there is a good bandwidth.

I've been working with the solution for a year and a half. 

The solution is stable. There aren't any bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. The performance is good. 

It can scale. Maybe when it comes to the endpoint security and data protection here, it's scalable, as many features can be added on one by one. The licensing is also scalable.

We tend to work with small and medium-sized companies. Most of the customers have under 300 users. 

Support is okay. I am in an English region, so, for the technical support currently, I still have Mandarin supports, however, not much. There are just two in our region.

Except for the number of supports, everything's good from the support perspective.

If the deployment is not included in the initial setup it will take just in one day, since it's a SaaS platform.

The maintenance can be handled by between two to five people.

Our customers handle the initial setup on their own. They do not need our assistance or any other outside assistance.

While some features can replace existing solutions, at the first stage, maybe new users can start from coexistence and see if features can be replaced or not. Due to the licensing and deployment, it's scalable and flexible. At any moment, we can decide to move to new features or not. You don't have to rush for all the features as they currently have many cybersecurity and data production features. Start slow and build up.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that its console itself is user-friendly. Cyber Protection Console remains user-friendly for all 365 days. We can train customers to use the tool's console. When errors happen in the tool, the tool provides some articles and steps for troubleshooting. It is a very user-friendly tool. The console can be customized.

Advanced backup is an area with certain shortcomings where improvements are required. The number of applications is limited for advanced backup. The tool should provide more application-based backup or applications, which will be an advantage when compared to other backup products. Acronis only provides EDR for Windows-branded systems. If the tool can provide EDR for Mac OS, it would be better.

At the moment, Cyber Protect provides various and diverse features. I would like to see XDR in the tool. Now, the product provides EDR with antivirus features. If the tool can provide XDR functionalities, it would be better.

My company provides support to customers who use the tool. My customers can call our company or email us about the things they can't troubleshoot. If we can also troubleshoot the incident, we can update the tool's support, after which we can use some support portals from Acronis.

The price of the product falls under a medium range.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is comparable with Rubrik.

The product updates happen within three months, but there are no daily updates.

There needs to be a partner portal and the facility to email the tool's support team for technical support.

The solution is easy to set up. If you implement through EverCloud, the deployment is quick. You send a link to the client, install it locally, and gain complete access to client control. The deployment time depends on the complexity. A workstation setup can be quick, taking just three days for a full disk and engine backup. However, if you opt to store data in their Acronis Cloud, it can become quite expensive.

The product’s pricing is expensive. There are competitive products in the market at cheaper rates. If you’re using Acronis on the cloud, it can be quite expensive. We renew the license on an annual basis.

I recommend the solution. Overall, I rate it a seven out of ten.
