One Identity Safeguard Deployment - Effect on Users
How did the deployment affect your privileged users? (ie. Was it disruptive to them?) Please describe.
The privileged users adapted easily, and the deployment was done without disturbing our existing environment and setup, so there was no disruption, and the work went smoothly alongside the deployment.

View full review »The deployment affected our privileged users smoothly, as I did not see any challenges or disruptive events with this solution.
View full review »Regarding deployment, we have not faced any disruptive issues; it was very smooth for our privileged users, and after a short initial adjustment, they were able to access the system through One Identity Safeguard without issues, thanks to training and clear communication that minimized disruptions.
View full review »The deployment of One Identity Safeguard was largely smooth with minimal disruption to privileged users. Initially, there was a small adjustment phase as users had to shift from direct access and shared credentials to a controlled access mode through One Identity Safeguard. This included learning how to request access, use session launchers, and follow approval workflows. However, we managed this transition effectively by conducting user training and awareness sessions, rolling out in a phased manner rather than a big-bang approach, and providing quick support during the initial days. Within a short time, users actually saw the benefits, such as no need to remember or manage passwords, faster and more secure access through centralized control, and clear accountability which improved overall discipline.

They just had to follow the new access request process, and after a short adjustment period, it didn't really disturb their daily work.
View full review »The deployment of One Identity Safeguard was fairly smooth overall with minimal disruption for privileged users. During the initial rollout, there was a short adjustment period where users had to request access through the system instead of directly using credentials, which slightly changed their workflow. However, once they became familiar with the process, it actually improved their experience by simplifying access and removing the need to remember or manage sensitive passwords.
View full review »In terms of disruption, it was minimal for most privileged users, but not completely zero. During the pilot phase, there were some adjustments needed because users had to get used to logging in through One Identity Safeguard gateways instead of directly accessing the system.
View full review »The deployment of One Identity Safeguard had a manageable impact on our privileged users. There was a slight initial adjustment period where users had to adapt to the new process of requesting access and working through controlled sessions instead of using direct credentials, which caused minor disruption in the beginning. However, with proper communication and training, the transition became smooth. Over time, users actually found it more convenient and secure since they no longer needed to manage or remember privileged passwords. Overall, the deployment did not significantly disrupt operations and quickly became a normal part of the workflow.

The initial deployment was somewhat disruptive, but the excellent customer support provided during the integration made sure it did not disrupt my users, thanks to the support from both customer service and technicians from the vendor.

View full review »The deployment was mostly smooth, but there was a small learning curve for privileged users. Initially, some users found the new access process a bit different, since they had to request access through One Identity Safeguard instead of using direct credentials. But after a short adjustment period, they got comfortable with it. Overall, it was not very disruptive. With proper communication and a phased rollout, users adapted quickly and the added security and control were well accepted.

View full review »The transition for privileged users was a bit of a mixed experience at the beginning, but it became smoother after the initial adjustment phase. At first, there was some resistance because users were used to direct administrative access. With One Identity Safeguard, they had to go through controlled workflows for requesting access and launching privileged sessions, which added a few extra steps compared to the earlier way of working. Initially, some users felt it slowed things down, especially during urgent production issues.
View full review »The deployment effect was largely smooth for privileged users with very minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
View full review »The deployment of the solution did not affect my privileged users disruptively. It was straightforward because we have not faced any kind of challenge, and it had minimal impact. We just required a brief adjustment period for our team, but overall it was not disruptive.

The deployment of One Identity Safeguard had minimal disruption for privileged users because the solution was introduced in phases. There was a short adjustment period while users became familiar with the new access request and approval process. After the initial onboarding, most users appreciated the centralized access management and improved security controls. Overall, the transition was smooth and did not significantly impact day-to-day operations.
View full review »The deployment of One Identity Safeguard caused very little disruption to our privileged users. During the rollout, administrators had to learn the new access request and approval process, which required a short adjustment period. After that, the workflow became routine. Instead of using shared administrator passwords, users simplified the request for access through One Identity Safeguard and received time-limited access when approved. Overall, the transition was smooth, and the improved security and accountability outweighed the small learning curve.
