I used the tool enterprise architectural tool. I used it for my master's degree, my master's thesis.

I searched for the typical applications and their connections.

MEGA is a world-class application that would suit any kind of business, environment, retail business, city planning business, municipality, any bank or national, any air traffic control unit, and even for the space industry. MEGA is being used with global standards. The global standards are GRC governance, risk and complaints, data modeling, and business process management. Many methodologies and products are available within a HOPEX application that will serve different business requirements.

I currently deal with business process management, GRC models, and data modeling. My previous company is completely retail where they'll use it to define the business process and the process-oriented mechanisms. The functionality is very much suitable for anything. You can define the process, create the projects, and create the business functions, business processes, organization, and data modeling structures with that will interact with the legacy standards.

Our primary use case for this solution is as an enterprise architecture tool. From a management perspective, we have specific use cases for modeling business processes.

HOPEX creates a database of applications, technologies, and platforms. We integrate the solution with the entire enterprise to manage our architectural components. We currently have around 300 users, but we are moving away from HOPEX. 

We use MEGA HOPEX to conduct a comprehensive executive business analysis, including data governance. These features are categorized into various profiles. We are effectively utilizing features within these profiles due to the complexity of our organization. The primary features used are data governance, information management, solution architecture, and overall enterprise architecture capabilities.

The solution can be used to model customer journeys and business processes.

MEGA HOPEX is the tool of my customer, an energy and facilities company.

The tool is used for application modeling and application data exchange purposes. MEGA HOPEX is also used to classify applications by the business capability for anthology purposes. It's an application and data flow tool.

We picked it as we wanted something that included all of the shapes represented in the software architecture solutions of our company. We created near 2,000 products that we have in the company. We used this product to represent the software architecture of our solutions and the mapping within the processes of the company.

We tried to map a set of fields and we have and combined it with the processes of the company.

We implement MEGA HOPEX primarily for better visualization of enterprise architecture artifacts and generating reports for clients to maintain governance and work on enterprise development. MEGA HOPEX is used for IT portfolio management, strategy mapping, project portfolio analysis, and business capability assessments.

Personally, I focus more on implementing MEGA HOPEX rather than the functional side, but I've worked with clients who use it to plan future capabilities and compare them with current ones.

The first use case pertains to the certificate price domain. Secondly, we use it for enterprise reporting. Governance is one of the key areas.

We are using MEGA HOPEX for process modeling, such as modeling IT tasks.

 We have a private server and the client also has their own server. 

We are using the solution in one bank in Colombia. We are going to start implementation in two financial entities in Ecuador.

We use the product for application portfolio management. We capture a list of applications and draw architecture diagrams. 

The modules that we use are MEGA Process and MEGA Architecture.

HOPEX has different modules. The one we use the most is the IT infrastructure module for process management. One guy on my team is in charge of this component, whereas I am the solution architect. I think there are at least three or four modules.

If a client wants to integrate an app with the HOPEX console, they need to pay MEGA for that service, and it's expensive. We offer that integration to clients as a service because we know how to integrate and reassess the cost.

My primary use case is managing enterprise architecture design.

Currently, we are just using the business model's architecture and MEGA's architecture.

We use this solution for capability assessment and modeling business processes.

MEGA HOPEX is an EA platform used to implement different use cases like application rationalization, IT portfolio management, IT business management, business process analysis, IT architecture, data management, governance, risk, and compliance. All of those are top-level capabilities. MEGA HOPEX is considered a leader in EA according to the latest Gartner report.

We are partners and resellers of MEGA HOPEX and I'm a consultant and director of our company. 

Our primary use case for this solution is process modeling.

Personally, I have not worked in the production side for this product. I am on the engineering side and perform maintenance on different solutions in the company, including this one.

I am assisting a local company with its maintenance at two different sites. For the most part, 95%, MEGA HOPEX is being used for change management. It is also being used for incident management.

I don't use MEGA HOPEX myself, but I deliver it to my clients. Our clients' primary use case of this solution is for IT portfolio management. Our clients use it to determine things like application redundancy or if they want to get an overview of the full landscape of the application architecture. Also if they want to know the conflict detection between the application life cycle and the technology life cycle that supports the application.
