It is a mixture of both. You must know some information about installing a client server application in a WAN environment. You can use the guide as well to deploy the product.

Pricing is very competitive and licensing is very much ethical.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Trend Micro, McAfee, and Sophos.

What other advice do I have?

Must have an up-to-date system and should have minimum a mid-size range server.

What is our primary use case?

At this moment, our company is using Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business because we have situations related to culture and cost considerations.

We use almost all modules on Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business, including antivirus, anti-ransomware, behavior analytics via the Kaspersky Security Cloud.

I use Kaspersky's centralized management console for overseeing security in my network.

How has it helped my organization?

Installation and deployment of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is very easy.

We deploy via the Kaspersky Security Center.

Provisioning from the Kaspersky Security Center takes a very short time and is not complex.

What is most valuable?

What I appreciate about Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is that it is very familiar to us.

I would assess the effectiveness of Kaspersky's advanced threat defense measures and firewall positively.

Installation and deployment through the Kaspersky Security Center is straightforward and efficient, taking minimal time to complete.

What needs improvement?

There is room for improvement in Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business regarding Data Leakage Prevention (DLP). Additional features such as application control or device control could benefit from applying AI to improve the solution's performance.

Encryption tools are generally good, but they can be complicated for users who are not familiar with technology.

Regarding patch management, we utilize another product to help minimize risk.

Easy to set up and implement, but the threat intelligence features are outdated

The setup and implementation are easy.

The threat intelligence features are not up to date.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The product is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The product is scalable. We have five customers.

How was the initial setup?

The setup depends on the solutions. If we use it with normal solutions, it takes ten minutes. If we use it with VMware or other infrastructure like Hyper-V, it will require additional effort.

What other advice do I have?

We are partners. The tool must update its signature, threat intelligence features, and IoC. The signature is not sufficient. It is not authentic. Overall, I rate the tool a seven out of ten.
