Google Cloud is scalable.
How are customer service and support?
I have not used the support from Google Cloud.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS prior to using Google Cloud. I prefer Google Cloud. The interface is designed in a way that is easy to understand, even for those with limited technical knowledge. One can effortlessly acquire the necessary knowledge through online resources, allowing for self-sufficient learning.

What other advice do I have?
There is not any specific maintenance required to be done with the solution.
My advice to others is for them to take all the advantages of the free tiers from each cloud solution vendor and then decide what they want to use.

The solution is scalable.
It is stable and reliable.
What needs improvement?
The cost could be lowered.
The analytics could be improved. The analytics that they have are very focused. It serves Google and not really the client. There needs to be some kind of ratio between the purpose of the service, how much of this service is for the client and how much is for the provider. Google is getting more value from the analytics services than the client.
For how long have I used the solution?
We've used the solution for many years now. It's likely been five to six years at this point.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is very stable and reliable with good performance on offer. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We've used Microsoft and IBM solutions in the past. This was before we began using Google Cloud.
We are using Google due to the fact that it's completely different. The purpose of Google Cloud is different, and the access to it is different. We are using it for wider services than for any kind of specific purpose or any kind of business focus.
How was the initial setup?
We are using the cloud. There is no installation process required before you start using it.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
In terms of the licensing, I'd rate the solution five out of ten. It could always be cheaper.

A stable and affordable solution that is easy to implement and manage
Pros and Cons
- "The infrastructure is easy to manage."
- "The product must provide AI features."
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution for our SAP infrastructure.
What is most valuable?
The product’s infrastructure is up to the mark. The infrastructure is easy to manage. It is better than Azure and AWS. It is easy to implement the product.
What needs improvement?
DevOps must be improved. DevOps in AWS is quite easy to establish and can be easily used by startups and big companies. It is not so with Google Cloud. The product must provide AI features.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for more than one and a half years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool is quite stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The tool is scalable. We support our customers. We have around 2000 to 3000 customers.
How are customer service and support?
The support is good. The third-party support could be improved.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The installation is easy. Most of my customers have Windows. VDI lags in Google Cloud. The deployment takes one month. We have more than 30 people in our technical team. We have eight to ten people to maintain the solution. Other people are involved in support or are senior employees like cloud architects. It is easy to maintain the tool.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The solution is cheaper than AWS. The licenses are annual. The cost is inclusive of support.
What other advice do I have?
We are partners. People must choose Google Cloud. It is a great product. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

Easy to set up and get started with
Pros and Cons
- "It's a perfect tool for startups."
- "When companies grow at a larger scale, they may shift to a different cloud services provider like AWS or Oracle."
What is our primary use case?
We use Google Cloud to deploy our servers on containerized token servers and store user databases, which mostly consist of 5S data. It is very useful for authentication, as most of our back-end operations are powered by Google.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature is the ease of use. Google Cloud has mastered the user interface and user experience so much that it is very convenient. The 5S is the best tool for startups to set up things quickly and powerfully. Apart from that, Google Cloud has a lot of features. We can deploy with really powerful servers, auto-scaling, and all. Yeah. That's it. I tried AWS, but it has too many features. So Google Cloud is simple to use to start with.
What needs improvement?
When the companies grow at a larger scale, I often see them shifting to a different cloud services provider, like Oracle or AWS, because they may have critical features or preferences over Google Cloud. While Google Cloud is expanding, there is still room for improvement in flexibility.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Google Cloud for more than a year now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability a ten out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is very scalable. For starters, it is very scalable, but when we use it for a month, we may have to look for a different setup on Google Cloud. But, yes, it is very scalable.
I would rate the scalability a nine out of ten. We are happy with the scalability.
How are customer service and support?
The customer service is pretty supportive. We are also in the Google Startup Program and they have been very helpful. The support is amazing.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is super easy. I would rate it a ten out of ten.
What about the implementation team?
Google Cloud has amazing documentation. It took a few hours to deploy the solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Some options might be cheaper for much larger scales, but at the scale, we are operating on, Google has very convenient pricing. I'd rate it a three out of ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive.
What other advice do I have?
I highly recommend using this solution. It's very easy to set up and get started with and is a perfect tool for startups. They have amazing support with their programs as well.
Overall, I would rate it a nine out of ten.

Google Cloud is scalable, and I'm giving it a rating of eight out of ten in terms of scalability.
How are customer service and support?
We have yet to contact Google Cloud technical support because we have not encountered issues with the solution.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We also work with Amazon, apart from Google Cloud. The two solutions are the same, more or less. It's only the usage that's different. We usually recommend both to clients, and whichever clients prefer, we go with that solution.
How was the initial setup?
Google Cloud has a simple setup.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Pricing for Google Cloud could be improved. It would be better if it were lower.
What other advice do I have?
My company uses Google Cloud.
My company has around ten Google Cloud users.
I'm rating Google Cloud as eight out of ten. I deducted two points as the price could be lower.
Google Cloud is a solution my company usually recommends to clients.

Fair pricing and an easy setup with good online tutorials
Pros and Cons
- "For us, the solution is very easy to use. We have the right skillsets for it."
- "The documentation could be better."
What is our primary use case?
We primarily use the solution for small applications. There are also a few web applications with Angular.
What is most valuable?
I'm very happy with Google Cloud. Everything works. For us, the solution is very easy to use. We have the right skillsets for it.
Users find it easy to work with it.
I don't need to create an API layer since it automatically creates it for me.
It offers a real-time database, so we get updates really fast.
The Firebase database is great.
The tutorials people can find online are good.
The solution offers fair pricing.
It's pretty stable.
The solution can scale well.
It offers a simple initial setup.
What needs improvement?
There is only one issue that I have and it is when you create an account, they limit the number of accounts you can create.
The documentation could be better.
The backup needs improvement. I would prefer to do a one-piece backup solution where I can schedule backups.
It's just too complicated to migrate from one Firebase database to another. It should have been easy.
I'd like to see something like an exchange server, a managed email server, where I can handle other clients. I'd like something similar to Microsoft Exchange yet something that is like a fully managed email service.
For how long have I used the solution?
I started using the solution maybe four years ago.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability has been great. I'd rate it ten out of ten. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. I've had no issues.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It's a very scalable solution. I'd rate its ability to expand at a ten out of ten.
We took a managed server, so it automatically scales. We've had a case where there were a thousand users streaming videos, and it all works fine.
We have 1200 users for one application. That said, we have a few applications and they all have varying amounts of users. It's likely around 1,000 users per app.
It's in our roadmap to increase usage.
How are customer service and support?
I have tried Google support. I did send emails and never got a response for some of them. Compared to AWS, AWS has the best technical support and Google's is weaker.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We're also using AWS.
For Angular apps and for real-time apps and for real-time apps, Google Cloud is much better. When it comes to cleaning lambdas and small APIs, AWS is better. And the only thing I would say AWS is better is technical support. The support is 24 hours, and they're always ready to help. Google is less expensive, however.
How was the initial setup?
The solution is straightforward to set up. I'd rate the ease of implementation nine out of ten. It's a cloud product. It's very easy.
Once you know what to do, the deployment is very quick and really easy. It's like one command line that you do to deploy. It only takes a minute.
We've got a repo. However, the deployments are done manually with just one command. They build locally and deploy manually.
Just one person managed the deployment process.
What about the implementation team?
Everything is implemented in-house. We did not need outside assistance. I was able to handle the deployment myself.
What was our ROI?
Something that used to take six months might now only take two weeks. That's quite a change and a pretty good ROI.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I'd rate the pricing ten out of ten. It is an affordable product.
The cost might be $10 a month per user, which is about $300 a month in total.
What other advice do I have?
We're a customer.
I'm using a few of the services. I'm using the latest version of the solution.
I'd advise new users to go through some tutorials. The documentation can be a bit hard to read. However, there are a lot of good tutorials out there.
I'd rate the solution ten out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Cloud infrastructure solution that reduces capital expenditure and offers stability and scalability
Pros and Cons
- "It eliminates capital expenditures and subsequent MNO that we would use to spend on on-prem architectures. That money is funneled towards security and connectivity provisioning."
- "An area of improvement would be in the of managing accounts in terms of what we are using for memory, availability, and monitoring."
How has it helped my organization?
The value for us is the infrastructure as we don't have to host or worry about upgrades. It eliminates capital expenditures and subsequent MNO that we would use to spend on on-prem architectures. That money is funneled towards security and connectivity provisioning. This is a better way of spending money and trying to keep up with the cloud-forward strategy that we have in Oregon.
What needs improvement?
An area of improvement would be in the of managing accounts in terms of what we are using for memory, availability, and monitoring. We want to monitor our SaaS deployment within Google to give our SOC a good idea of what's going on.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been using this solution for a couple of years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
This is a stable solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
This is a scalable solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
This solution is worth the money we are paying. I would rate the pricing a three out of five.
What other advice do I have?
From a maintenance perspective, we have cloud architects who are working on what data can go where and what infrastructure we require from the cloud service providers. This is a team of ten.
I would advise others considering this solution to always plan and have a good blocking service before moving anything to the cloud. It is important to complete an evaluation of sing the solution long term and to take cost provisioning, availability of services, cyber security, credibility and compliance into consideration.
I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
