Pros
"The most valuable features are user-friendly and self-service tools. Users can define their reports based on available data sets, with multiple dimensions and slide and dice data capabilities.""Its ease of use and the ability to drill down into detail are the most valuable. Executive dashboarding features are the most commonly used ones.""The solution effectively integrates with third-party products.""Initial setup was straightforward."

"We do you use Oracle support. We've been paying for an Oracle support subscription for four or five years, and not one ticket has ever been logged. When I came in, I've encouraged the team to ask Oracle questions. They do get back quite quickly. Their support is good. Working with our account managers, if I need to escalate anything, I can speak to them and they escalate the call. I've got that ecosystem working quite well. That does work for us.""The centralized metadata model component is most valuable.""It's easy to use for business analysts.""The most valuable feature is the openness of the solution. It helps us integrate some of our clients.""It mostly supports enterprise level data. We have millions of records on a daily basis.""Oracle OBIEE is very easy to use. Looking at analytics, I think they have come a long way by adding new features like visualization, which is really cool.""Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten...The solution's initial setup was straightforward.""It's the connectors, the adapters. Built in connectors with different ERPs, you can plug in XL, other sources of data. It's very easy to configure. It's very easy to use."

"We really like that it's user friendly and has a lot of combinations and charts. They're good compared to other tools. We used a free Elastic product, comparatively, this solution is good because of their support, UI, and connecting to databases is very easy.""It provides insights into leads, information about the team and about various sales activities. The graphical representations in the form of charts is excellent.""The front end of this solution including the graph generation using SQL has been most useful.""We moved the data from Zoho Creator to Zoho Analytics and created reports.""I like the way I can share dashboards and embed dashboards. I normally use embedding. So, I create a dashboard, and I embed it into specific websites. Sharing of the dashboard is seamless, and it is easier than any other visualization platform, even Tableau.""We can create advanced-level reports with the tool. We can get data from different Zoho applications and also from other third-party applications. We can create schedules for syncing data from third parties to Zoho Analytics. We can also use table queries for getting data from more than one table.""We use the solution for financial and sales analytics. It brings data from our IT incident management tool. Hence, we have three business use cases for IT support, sales and financials.""The integration interface is very easy to use and allows you to directly connect to a variety of APIs."

Cons
"When looking at web-based BI or cloud-based BI vendors, there should be abilities for power users to build deep analysis. If they are not data science tools, they are not for power users.""Quality of support varies.""The dashboard could be improved and include additional features.""In terms of data modeling, it could be simplified. Sometimes, it seems complicated. Also, the response time for data set refreshes could be faster to enhance the user experience."

More Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service Cons →

"In the on-premises version, the feature for connecting and selecting the data between the databases looks a bit cumbersome, but I am not sure. The person who is using it takes a lot of time to design a data warehouse. When I ask him why is it taking this long, I get a response that this is something that he has to design, and there are different tools that are available. He has to write the ETL and design the warehouse according to the customer's requirement, which takes a lot of time. Its visualization should be enhanced, and there should be a feature where you can easily create your custom data warehouse.""It was a little bit tedious to install a new release.""The ability to migrate from one version to another, such as doing so from version 11 to an upgraded 12 of Oracle business environment, can be difficult.""The functionality to customize and modify reports has been removed, and it would be beneficial to reinstall it, as it allows greater customization and flexibility in creating reports.""When a large number of queries are running at the same time, the report fails.""Customer service/technical support gets five out of 10. Sometimes good, sometimes bad.""Oracle OBIEE can improve the ease of use. It is a lot to learn and it could be made easier.""Implementation is cumbersome and requires expertise."

More Oracle OBIEE Cons →

"In terms of improvement, they have a limited number of graphs available in their store. They should come up with more graph style forms. They should have more charts and at the same time, you can't create panels like with Microsoft BA.""The platform's pricing needs improvement.""The solution's tasks and project management tools are weaker than those of its competitors.""They should provide white labeling with a cheaper option. I know they have a white labeling feature in which I can white label Zoho Analytics with my company theme, logo, and URL, but it seems a little expensive. If they can make it cheaper, it would be great. The same is applicable to Tableau.""I like the solution's Query Table feature which helps me write SQL queries. We can get data from different tables and then use it to create reports.""I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures.""The hourly pricing needs improvement.""The customer service and support for this solution could be improved by faster response times."

    Reviews from Real Users

Sandeep V., Process System Engineer at a comms service provider, tells us, “This solution is very easy for people who are building ad-hoc things. It's an enterprise solution so it can be deployed for a lot of users. There are some great new features that come with the 12c like data visualization, desktop BI Publisher, automation, and interactive dashboards. The product has good features. “

A user who is a CEO at a consultancy relates, “The most valuable feature is the visualization. The data warehousing, data storage, and data wrangling are all features that are in there, and it's one of the better products out there. A good thing is that for large datasets, it's very stable, especially when you have an Oracle database.”

A user who is a Principal Business Intelligence Architect at a computer software company suggests, "It is very biased towards Oracle infrastructure. One of the major red flags we have at the moment against Oracle is that it doesn't support deployment on other cloud providers. We're quite heavily vested in AWS as our infrastructure, and Oracle is yet to formally support deploying on those virtual infrastructure instances. That's quite disappointing, and it also cuts them out of over 70% of the market."

Zoho Reports is a powerful, easy-to-use and highly scalable cloud-based reporting and business intelligence platform for small to medium-sized businesses. Its flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model and scope for customization allow businesses to tailor it to their unique needs.
