Amazon QuickSight Primary Use Case
In my industry, it does not change. I focus mostly on automotive, retail, and finance.
View full review »My clients use Amazon QuickSight for reporting purposes. They are building reports and dashboards.
My clients are dealing mostly with simple dashboards, reports, and sending the reports across to them via emails and similar methods.
View full review »I use Amazon QuickSight for a user portal where I need to display client data. When I started using QuickSight, I had to create a visual connection with the data source and share it with the client.
Now, I use the embedded QuickSight feature, allowing clients to see the dashboard within the product when they log in. This setup is for a call center solution to identify fake calls using machine learning algorithms.

I am a consultant. I support clients who have chosen QuickSight as their reporting tool for their businesses. We focus on major use cases like row and column level security, ensuring that different teams can access the same dashboard and see specific data depending on their roles.

We run as a part of our agriculture platform, a lot of web apps and mobile apps. Amazon QuickSight is used in the backend for analytics and data analysis.
View full review »We used it to analyze customer usage data within our application. We were consolidating data on user behavior and status, then presenting it to different audiences, such as executives and account managers.
For building executive dashboards, especially when you don't require extensive drill-downs, QuickSight is a good option. However, if you need in-depth drill-down capabilities, Power BI is more flexible at this point.
View full review »Amazon QuickSight is a business intelligence tool that gives the user all kinds of reports, like real-time and historical reporting. It allows you to showcase various reports and analytics and even trigger some limited actions. It's primarily designed for advisors or analysts.
I've used it extensively for Amazon Connect reporting. There are many tools that can integrate with Amazon Connect for reporting, but since Amazon Connect lacks native customization features, one way to customize reporting is to use QuickSight.
Compared to other reporting tools, it is very effective but does require an understanding of certain concepts in QuickSight. This understanding is crucial for creating dimensions, changing metrics, and visualizing reports. If someone has a thorough knowledge of QuickSight, it is a very good tool that allows for significant customization.
Recently, with AI integrations coming into play, QuickSight has gained a lot of new features, particularly in its integration with Amazon services and the ability to write queries using simple English. This is a fantastic feature that has helped me create and deploy reports more quickly.

We have used it as rapid prototyping for exploring visualizations and analytics with the data. It seems to work quite nicely.
View full review »We use QuickSight for the BI and for reporting purposes. We want to integrate two different applications. For example, we would want to merge NetSuite and an accounting solution and get the data from a fancy dashboard. Users can get any information they want at any point. We don’t need to query it every time we need something.
We chose QuickSight because we had a need to build some dashboards several months ago. We were looking for a monitoring dashboard that would provide an overview of what was going on across the organization. Our aim was to utilize Power BI. I'm a solutions architect and we are customers of Amazon.
We primarily use the solution for reports for our finance team. We take in a lot of data and we use the quick site reports to process and present everything back to our finance team.

If I have to build a solution on Amazon data for an IT team or for a quick POC for some customers, I use QuickSite. Additionally, for basic analysis, we use QuickSite.
View full review »Amazon QuickSight is primarily used to provide reporting on top of some data lakes built on top of AWS. We are primarily an advanced partner with SAP, providing analytics on top of SAP data using AWS services. Since some of our customers don't want to associate with other vendors, we are looking into Amazon QuickSight as one of the BI solutions.

I am using its latest version. It is deployed on the cloud through an S3 bucket connected to Athena.
We tried to do a proof of concept with QuickSight. Essentially, we were evaluating it for visualization to create charts and graphs to explain the reports that were being generated behind the scenes. Instead of having to go through hundreds of thousands of lines of tables, we just wanted to get a high-level summary and then figure out the areas in which we needed to go deeper. We used its latest version.
